Great location
15-20 minute walk to Dukes and the beach. Loved the ease of check in and it was a great price for 2 bedrooms with a full kitchen and parking included!

Great Location - Nice space

Every room had an AC unit which was nice. The porch was small but nice to sit on. Having a dedicated parking spot was great. Secure parking and building access. The location is very convenient. Would stay again.

A Nice Place To Stay

This condo worked really well for us. It was clean, well run and the location was great. The parking space was also super handy. Bonus, the beds were super comfy! We would stay here again.

Great stay

The place has great location; however, it is a little old. We found three bugs and had to clean them out. The host is very easy to communicate, and towels and beach toys were provided by the host.

Place was very nice.

Place was very nice and clean. worked well having 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. Close to most everything. The beach was a 10 - 15 minute walk. Bus stop very close and convenient. Was able to communicate with the Host who responded very quickly with all inquiries. Would stay again.

Royal Aloha Family Vacation

Great place to stay in Honolulu! Central location
walkable to beach, Ala Moana Mall, and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and dinnerware, saved a lot by cooking meals in, instead of going out every night. Small glitch with the TV/cable, but our host was very quick to help fix the situation. Loved our time here, can’t wait until we can return!

Affordable, solid choice near Waikiki

Great pre-arrival communication and unit was exactly as described in the photos/listing. Wonderful to have free/easy to access parking on site for using a rental car. Easy walk to Waikiki and other nearby areas (like boat tours). Plenty of restaurants and food trucks nearby as well. At this price point, do not expect the Ritz Carlton. It is a clean, fairly spacious and well-equipped two bedroom unit near Waikiki with parking -- if you want luxury, get an overpriced hotel. The area was also safe with 7-11/ABC nearby as well as the canal trail for walking and running.

In general, the apartment was very nice. When we arrived the floor was dirty. However, there was a small vacuum and I vacuumed the entire apartment. The chairs and table set up are uncomfortable, but we managed to use them. All else seemed clean and comfortable.

Very clean, quaint little abode.

Everything was clean, and hospitable. Kitchen was fully stocked and all appliances were in great working condition. Bedrooms had clean, fresh sheets and towels. Balcony view was beautiful. Parking was convenient. Laundry facility was within walking distance of our room which was great. All amenities were as described. We encountered a few roaches here and there but we were warned and was not a problem. We really enjoyed the stay. Even though the ac didn't work in the building, the portable ac units provided did a great job keeping the rooms cool. We would recommend and book again.

Awesome location property needs updating

Really enjoyed the location of the property, layout of the rental property, and availability for parking. The inside of the property needs some attention. It’s very dated , lacks a warm home feeling, has a few roaches at night, and needs attention to the holes in the hallway and mold in the closet. We had a party of three. There was 3 very old wash cloths and 4 towels and 4 beach towels. No rugs anywhere.. not even in the bathroom. The location is amazing. 7-11 on the corner, food trucks on the next corner, and the international Market approx 10-15 min walk up the street. Hopefully this review is helpful for both the customer and rental agent.

Great Location/older building

The place was just as great as the pictures! It was close to the beach and shopping. The beds were comfortable and the showers hot. I was regretting my choice as we walked up to the rooms. The building is in need of some repair - they were working on water issues when we were there. There are holes in the hallway walls and the hallway carpet needs replaced. The door would not shut unless it was locked. I slept well every night - even with city sounds. We never could get the balcony doors open. I would recommend it for the great price and location.

Not so great

The important check-in processes were buried below the key code info. By the time we noticed it, we already had a resident kindly help us. Then the keys were not there because the room on was not ready at check-in time and we were there well passed check-in. The place was clean, but the bed skirts and curtains were filthy—from soaking up wash water from mopping. The entrance door only had a deadlock, the door handle latch was completely missing. Walls by light switches were dirty, and air vents and fans full of dust. Also we were provided one bathroom hand towel for a 7-day stay. Dead batteries in main TV remote. Small things, but things that make you feel like the manager/owner respects their property and those renting.

An affordable place on Waikiki close to the beaches at a good price.

Honolulu was unseasonably warm while we were there so AC struggled to keep the unit cool, but I don't think that is a normal occurrence. The good: Price, location, and owner is very responsive. The not so good: HVAC struggled to keep the unit cool, street noise was very loud. I want to be clear that the unit is NOT bad, especially at the price point. I just want people to be realistic in their expectations. First, in addition to the central air for the unit, there are portable air conditioners in the three main rooms that can't be moved. Even with those, during the extremely hot parts of the day, our unit struggled to keep the temp below 78 degrees but again, we were there during a heatwave. In one of the rooms, the exhaust pipe for the room AC was leaking hot air into the room so I used a towel to plug up the air leaks. By this point, I had already spoken to the owner several times and didn't want to be a difficult tenant, so we just dealt with it. Second was the street noise. Since this unit is on the third floor (there are two lobby levels), ambulances were very loud when they went by all hours of the day or night. We did not hear anyone else on the property so it wasn't the fault of the property owner. Everything else in this unit was great and secured assigned parking is awesome.

Between 4 and 5 stars.... Free Parking and Good A/C!!!

This was a 5 star stay when I consider the price. You get a lot of space for a good price, and free parking. But it’s not a 5 star place in quality. I'd stay here again - but make sure you have the right expectations.... PROS: Great management – good communication, easy check in/out, delivered an extra set of sheets within minutes of asking. Pretty spacious. Nice outdoor balcony. A/C worked well and the white noise kept the outside noise from being so loud. Lots of extras – boogie board, sunscreen, iron, coffee filters, etc. Great parking – so easy - not in a big garage where you have to go around and around to get to the spot. Could take the stairs to the second floor (or use the elevator). Good location for walking and taking Ubers (though not on the water or even within eyesight of it.) 2 Queen beds were pretty comfortable. CONS: Tiny pool. Not much of a view. 2nd floor and louvered windows means street noise (including a few police sirens) that kept us awake the first night until we got used to it. The place is dated - both the building and the condo. They are doing their best to keep it clean, but, for example, the grout in the shower is just old. And there are small roaches (less than 1/2 inch) in the kitchen each morning. They give you a plastic bin to keep all your food in. As I said above, I'd stay here again, but don't expect Hyatt-level newness.
