Overall satisfied

We enjoyed the location and overall it was good. However there were a lot of bugs on the inside that we were constantly killing or removing, and many spider webs on the inside of the cabin, and property definitely could've used a better dusting on the inside of it.

Great location

Overall it was a pretty good cabin, just wished it had been a little cleaner on the inside and unfortunately the prior people who had stayed didnt clean up after their dogs so you had to watch your step around the property. Our biggest complaint overall would definitely be there were lots of bugs on the inside of the cabin that we were constantly killing and or trying to get outside and lots of spider webs on the inside.

Perfect

Property is in prime location close enough to EVERYTHING but yet still far enough away you still felt like you were in your own little world. Perfect size for me, my husband and our 3 kids. Plus they allow pets with an additional fee!! We had a great time and have already said we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location and size

Large kitchen and comfortable beds. Nice neighborhood with lovely neighbors. Nice front porch. Great Mountain View’s.

Great place to stay with easy access to everything. Our only problem was soap. Some small hotel like bars for the baths would be great.

What a Great Place to Stay

Nice cabin!

Very cute cabin! Our family enjoyed our stay. It was a convenient location and in a quiet area which was nice. I do feel like the bathrooms could have used a little more attention as far as cleaning, especially the shower curtain and the bathroom floors. Overall it was a nice place to stay. I would recommend this place to family and friends. Overall it wanee

Great Escape but not for wheelchair access

Loved the cabin and the location. It was not far from anything and easy to get to. Access into the cabin and around the first floor was all good. The first floor bathroom however had some access issues. If you use a wheelchair you could not get to the toilet and the sink is very hard to use also. The shower did not have a hand held shower head either which is very useful to those that use a wheelchair. We had to move the furniture around to gain access to the bed in the downstairs bedroom for the wheelchair user. Yes the cabin is accessible for wheelchair users it just is not totally accessible in all areas. Loved sitting on the front porch. It was wide and plenty of room.

Unsanitary and unsafe

Dust, dead bugs, and mold throughout the house. Mold was on the floorboards in the living room, blinds in the kitchen, and downstairs bath where someone obviously tried to paint over water damage to the wall. The logs of the cabin are rough hewn, which gives a more rustic feel, but also makes it very difficult to clean. But it was clear there had been no effort to clean, as there was thick dust on light fixtures, blinds, and windowsills as well as the cobwebs all over the ceiling and walls. One light fixture had a thick layer of dead bugs piled up at the bottom. My daughter found a dead stinkbug in her bed. There is also the issue of wiring in the upstairs bedroom. There is a powerstrip ziptied to the wall, an extension cord across the room, and the ceiling fan has been wired to a cord that plugs into one of the outlets next to the powerstrip. I did not feel safe staying there with my family. VRBO was no help in resolving the situation, and we ended up paying to stay in a motel for the rest of our trip.

Good for dog friendly stay

Very little carpet, which is great when traveling with dogs. Happened to stay on a pleasant temperature weekend and would have loved to leave windows open to air the place out a bit (smelled a little musty) - but there are no screens on any of the windows. There is a reason no backyard is shown - because there isn't one. However, front yard was plenty big for our pups. Not the most updated cabin, but it worked for us.

All in all, it was a great stay for us! We were able to bring our pets along with us for a long weekend and this cabin was perfect for what we needed. Thank you for the fantastic stay!

Great Escape

Great place to stayfor the 3 of us plus our furbaby. The dog loved the yard to run around in. It needs a few updates but nothing major. Please put some kind of seating on the back porch. We went to town and bought us some camping chairs to sit in while grilling and watching the dog play. I would return here for another stay and will recommend it to others.

Conveniently located

The cabin was located close to attractions but not too close. It was quiet but not secluded. Walt, the property manager, was easy to contact and promptly replied. He was able and willing to fix an issues quickly. The toilets were not clean and there were a lot of cobwebs. This cabin would be convenient if you have a family and plan on going to attractions. We never had to drive more than 20 minutes even with heavy traffic.

Perfect for Couples

This was a weekend away for me and my better half. couldn't have been better. Great front porch for hanging out. Nice big flat driveway with plenty of room. Very cool open floor plan with a loft. 2 bathrooms (which she really appreciated!). Clean, newer appliances. Location was close to town - but not TOO close :) Overall just a great place. We would go back for sure.

Family vacation

It’s better than the pictures. The carpet downstairs has been replaced with hardwood and the cabin was exactly what I was wanting for my family. It really is the perfect location! You’re close enough to get to anywhere fast but feel like you’re far away. If you’re planning on doing a lot of cooking you may want to bring some cookware but there is a few basics. I did buy some bigger storage bowls. Walt is wonderful if you have any questions and gets back to you fast. This will be our go to cabin when we come back!
