Nu en charmig semesterbostad som sover upp till sex, var Montgomery School en gång en fullt fungerande privatskola som drivs av min mamma och mormor!

Jag har tillbringat de senaste tre och ett halvt år omhyggligt renovera det i en 2 sovrum 1 bad comfy stuga och nu är jag glad att dela den med världen! Skolhuset är fullt av historia och förtjusta minnen och jag har lagt in den historiska delen av andan på denna plats i inredningen!

Du kommer att njuta av ditt eget bekväma och privata utrymme bokstavligen på Dollywoods tröskel! Sitter på uteplatsen bakom skolhuset, kommer du att njuta av vacker utsikt över Parrot Mountain och titta på spårvagnen som tar folk in i parken.

Jag har moderniserat köket och fyllt det med allt du behöver för att njuta av måltider tillsammans i stugan!

Det är närhet till Dollywood och Splash Country gör det till en perfekt plats för ett par eller familjeferie. Platsen ger också enkel åtkomst till Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg och Sevierville.

Varje sovrum har en plattskärms-TV med HD-kabel och vardagsrummet har en storskärms 55 "4K UHD-TV med HD-kabel och en 300 Watt Bluetooth-ljudbar. Vi har en Blu Ray DVD och boksamling för din njutning samt en fullstor tvättmaskin och torktumlare!

Gamla skolans charm möter modern komfort på ett bekvämt ställe! Ha en minnesvärd vistelse i det enda kvarvarande skolhuset som finns att hyra i Pigeon Forge!

Good location, needs better cleaning

The house is in a good location close to The Island, Dollywood and Gatlinburg. Very private with no direct neighbors and plenty of parking. Not very clean; every room had cobwebs on the ceilings, doorways and trim all had black fingerprints, bathtub had mildew around the rim and floors had not been swept.

Very nice place to stay. Was a little disappointed the hot tub wasn't clean. Would have like to have enjoyed that. But, everything else was very nice!

Okay/ has potential

I will start with the positives about this rental. The location is great! The land around the property is great for kids and dogs to play/walk. My kids loved the arcade game. The bad started upon arrival. We arrived at night and not a single light was on. Which was scary and thankfully we had flashlights. Needs basic maintenance, cobwebs, bulbs out, clock out. The bathroom toilet had issues and there were ants in the bathroom (large ant hills on property). The hot tub was dirty(owner was quick to respond though and have someone clean it). Outdoor area not very inviting at night around hot tub because there is no lighting other than a few solar lights and ants all over the inside of the box that has the outdoor cushions. Also, the entry french doors could use some curtains because they are mirrored so at night you cannot see out but someone could see in which is creepy. In the end, we made the most of it and do believe this place has great potential, but based on our stay I'm not sure how it has a 9.8 rating.

Overall a really nice experience

Very quiet and private for where it’s located. You could walk to Dollywood or ride a bike if you wanted to. Easy access to Pigeon Forge and everything there. Positives: comfortable furniture, fast internet, plenty of room, kitchen appliances and utensils are well stocked. Also a nugget ice maker.

Clean, Convenient, and Charming

My family and I were thoroughly impressed with this place! It is family-friendly, clean, and well-maintained, with the extra charm of embracing its history as a schoolhouse. Both bedrooms are spacious, the bathroom works well, and there's lots of space for a family to hang out and spend time together. The Foosball coffee table and arcade were both hits with my kids, and the outdoor area was a hit for my spouse and I. I also liked that it felt secluded to a degree, but major Pigeon Forge attractions were short 5 minute drives away. Overall, we liked this place quite a bit, and would love to come back whenever we visit Pigeon Forge again.

Smokey Mountain getaway

Property nice, clean. No light at kitchen sink, low water pressure, only one closet, kitchen cookware very used. Tried to use a spatula and it broke, we bought and left a new one.

Perfect for dogs

Our stay was great. Perfect location. We walked to Dollywood. It was great for anyone with a dog. Our dog really enjoyed the upper yard. It is flat and surrounded by bushes, like a fence. We could play frisbee with him up there. Would definitely stay here again.

The host was helpful & quick to respond. Checkin & out was flawless. We stayed 2 nights, walked to Dollywood in 15 minutes without issues. We could barely see the DW fireworks through the trees. It must have rained before we got there, the outside furniture cushions were left out & soaked , along with the small stack of firewood, so that was not available for our use.The one big issue was the smell from the bathroom,toilet, we kept the door shut & flushed as little as needed., bad enough that we would not stay here again.

Beautifilul property on the mountain side. The old school house added charcter. We were able to walk to Dollywood. Short drive in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The mountain coaster nearby was great! The patio and hot tub were peaceful. Would stay again.

Cute Cabin with Character

We had such a nice time in Pigeon Forge, and our stay in this special cabin made it even more enjoyable. It is in a perfect location! We would definitely recommend it to anyone.
