Denna stuga ligger med direkt tillgång till Lake Cowan på gångavstånd till den södra stranden, vandringsleder, fantastiska fiskehål och många picknickpaviljonger. När det gäller att ta del av den lokala verksamheten ligger Cowan Sailing club, Cowan State Park och World Equestrian Center alla mindre än 5 minuters bilresa.

Denna stuga rymmer 6 bekvämt med 1 queen size-säng belägen i ett privat sovrum, Queen Murphy säng ligger i det stora rummet förutom ett loft som nås via stege till en drottning säng. Här finns alla bekvämligheter i hemmet med stor promenad i keramiska plattor dusch, kök i full storlek med granitbänkar, apparater i full storlek, matplats för 6-8 personer, tvättmaskin / torktumlare på plats. WIFI och streamingtjänst tillhandahålls.

Extended Weekend Getaway

We were visiting for a performance at the Murphy Theater. The location was so very relaxing and in such a serene and beautiful area. The drive back the lane to get to the cabin was a gravel road. Check in was simple and seamless. There were two other cabins in the vicinity of ours, but you had the total illusion of being out there by yourself. The position of our cabin compared to the others was staggered, so while on the back deck, you can barely see part of the deck on the cabin next door. The cabin was stocked with everything you would need: dishes, pots pans, flatware, a crockpot, dish soap, hand towels, paper, towel, towels, and a dishwashrer. There was laundry soap, fabric softener sheets, towels, wash cloths, extra blankets, pillows, even split wood and lighters for the fire pit, as well as batteries for the flameless candles. There was a path that lead down to Cowan Lake from the cabin. Tom and Susan were extremely responsive to any questions that I had. I loved it! We even extended our stay by two days, and they were extremely accommodating. We will definitely return!

Family vacation

We had a great time! The cabin is cute and stocked with all we needed. Our favorite is the back porch as well as all the fireflies at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Quiet, cozy getaway

Our second visit was just as cozy as the first

This is our second year in a row of renting the Cozy Cottage. It’s a wonderful location to get away from it all while still close to plenty of Cowan Lake trails and Caesar’s Creek activities for the kids. We loved being to bring our dog and find all the amenities to feel like we were glamping. :)

Exactly What We Wanted

Perfect lodging for us and our dogs. Location was convenient for our dog event at the Roberts Center. And to top it all off, we got to see the northern lights one night! Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic Dog friendly place!

We were so impressed by how nice this place is. It is comfortable, well maintained and beautiful. The scenery is great and the fireflies put on a great show every night. We had a great time staying there while attending a dog show at the Robert's Center. The location was very convenient.

Peaceful sanctuary!

I loved my stay at this cottage! The peaceful, quiet setting was a welcomed respite from the daily chaos of a dog show at the Roberts Centre in Wilmington. The drive was very easy and sometimes I went back & forth several times daily. The cottage was larger than I expected, and very comfortable. I greatly appreciated that the owners permitted my two dogs. I hope future renters with pets continue to respect this property so the owner will continue to allow dogs. Thank you!!

Relaxing Stay

Cabin has everything needed to relax, fire pit, outdoor dining with chairs, comfortable bedding, & wide open space inside to relax. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook what we wanted. Second stay and will return.

EXACTLY what I needed

Stayed at the cabin for 6 nights while in town for work. Thank goodness all of the hotels were full because I never would’ve found this gem. I needed peace and quiet to rest and study and that’s exactly what this cabin provided. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything I needed (including an electric kettle!) Communication with Tom was super fast and helpful. Couldn’t ask for more!

Weekend getaway

Cottage was perfect for us. Clean, and secluded. My only disappointment was that we couldnt walk to the water but was a short ride away. Had family over Saturday and was a great time.

Cabin retreat

Excellent Location

For a writer looking to getaway and get some work done, I couldn't have asked for a more quiet, peaceful, and serene location. The proximity to the lake was ideal and the cottage itself was beyond comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

Stayed for a wedding at the Ren fair.

A smaller group stayed here a wedding at the Ren fair, which was a convient 20 minute drive. There were 3 total beds that worked well for us. Tom was easy to talk with and super accommodating towards us.

Little cottage in the woods

My wife and I went here for a little get away. The cottage is tucked into the woods and is nice and quiet if your looking for a place to just relax this is the place. Everything that you you need is available to you here has a nicely stock kitchen and all the furniture in the house is great quality. We spent the evening sitting by the fire pit in the back yard and you don’t hear any noise except birds.
