Jag hatar att skryta så jag ska guote några nuvarande gäster - "Kärleken i detta hem fyller våra hjärtan." Jones familjen från Tacoma. "Du har ett härligt hem - tack för ditt charmiga hem och din södra gästfrihet" Familj från Boise.

Nu för detaljer - det handlar om 2800SF - 3 sovrum / 2 badrum (ett sovrum på bottenvåningen med dubbelsäng). Sovrum på övervåningen har drottning och Kalifornien kung sängar-stora rum med dormers. Tillbaka till nedre våningen - stort lantkök med matplats och solrum (och ja det finns solsken i Oregon!). Gå genom de franska dörrarna till ett stort däck och eldstaden.
Omkring 1/3 hektar inhägnad mycket. Det finns också en täckt uteplats för underhållande året runt utanför det stora familjerummet (med vedeldad spis) som ligger i andra änden av hemmet från köket. Formell matsal och vardagsrum (med öppen spis) om du är i humör! Mycket traditionell stil - hemtrevlig, varm och bekväm.

Nära till shopping - downtown Portland och vinlandet. Bara en och en halv och en halv från kusten som är ett måste se såväl som Mt Hood och Columbia Gorge. Bend, Oregon är bara 3 timmar bort som är Seattle, Washington - så det finns mycket att se och göra. Du kommer att älska området såväl som mitt hem!

Elegance meets farm house meets cozy

It was perfect place to stay and entertain family from the area and attend other events in the area. Atmosphere very soothing to my stressful life.

A Home Away From Home

From the moment we arrived until the morning we left we felt completely at home in a property that welcomed us with thoughtfulness and consideration. The owner is very available and has left notes and instructions where they are easy to find and follow. Having a downstairs bedroom with full bath was very nice as one of our party is handicapped and it made for a wonderful and relaxing time for him to be able to use all the amenities of the home which are too numerous to mention. Downstairs is very commodious and comfortable - and this was during cool weather without using the backyard which was most attractive with lots of sitting areas. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

Perfectly homey!

This home is spacious, quiet, and completely comfortable, with all the amenities anyone could wish for. It was the perfect set-up for our family of adults. The younger couple stayed downstairs and left the house early each day to hike, while the older couple slept in undisturbed and enjoyed leisurely mornings. Barbara was readily available via text to answer questions and make suggestions. There were thoughtful touches throughout the house, and we enjoyed the evident sense of humor :-) We even played one of the board games one evening! Thank you, Barbara, for facilitating a very special family vacation!

Awesome place!

We enjoyed this stay so much. The house was clean and had so many great hang out spots both inside and outside! We really enjoyed the backyard space. The location was very nice and the neighborhood was quiet but still close to downtown Portland and many other great areas.

Great stay near Portland

We were 3 couples and stayed here 3 nights. The home is spacious both inside and outside. Barbara was very responsive to messages and was a welcoming host, leaving us wine, cheese & crackers, and some baked goods. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked and had everything we needed.

Everything was perfect!

This house was great for our needs. We were in town for a softball tournament- the location was close to all the fields we played it. Barbara was great, she left us treats and made contact the day after we got there! Nothing negative to say!

Portland family trip

We had a great time at this property .excellent beds and showers. House is cozy-lots of rooms, lots of Spaces. Backyard was my place to read and drink a cup Of coffee every morning . Pretty views in backyard. We felt very welcomed by the host-my family was very happy with this rental.

Wonderful Home with Beautiful Backyard

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this property. The house is spacious and makes you welcome, from the decor to the comfort of every room. It’s just wonderful. And the kitchen is FULLY stocked with all the necessary appliances, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc, you won’t want for anything. The backyard is so relaxing with its beautiful landscaping and covered patio for those rainy days. And Barbara is a wonderful host making sure you have everything you need and communicates quickly. This is definitely a home you want to stay at.

We love Barbara’s house!

Barbara’s house is our favorite! This was our second stay and it was once again amazing! We’re a group ages from 11 to 75 and the house has plenty of room for everyone to have their own space! We also like to cook and the kitchen is extremely well stocked. Unfortunately, it rained everyday of our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the backyard except for grilling on the covered patio, but the yard is huge. We’re already planning our next stay!

A great place to relax and enjoy beautiful Portland suberbs

This home is amazingly comfortable- there are reading areas both inside and outside, including luscious couches and a garden with gorgeous flowers and several outdoor eating areas. Our hostess was amazing- lots of treats, lots of towels and quick answers to every question. Check-in was a breeze, I can't recommend this home enough!

Clean huge house

House was clean and very roomy. We didn’t use outdoor amenities provided since we were gone most of the day. We all enjoyed our stay. The only thing that confused us was the light switches.

Great place to stay

The owner of this property was proactive communicating with us the week before our arrival and available at all times during our stay. The house was lovely and well stocked with everything we needed and great appliances. The house was very comfortable with convenient rooms to gather and a great backyard. We were very happy with our stay.

Beautiful Charming Home

We absolutely loved our stay. My brother in law thought this warranted being a destination vacation as the home was so welcoming, and the perfect place to relax and be reminded of a simpler time in life. Be sure to bring a quarter for the beautiful player piano in the back room. We were there for a family wedding. There were a plethora of preparation activities and social engagements which were all wonderful, but exhausting. It was so delightful to return to this peaceful home at the end of each day and just unwind. Barbara is a thoughtful host and her communication was excellent. We will definitely return if we find ourselves needing a place to stay in the Portland area again. Highly recommend.
