The vibe of the home is comfy and cozy. Great lighting, seating is great for conversation or TV watching. Beautifully landscaped yard is inviting for outdoor play. Beds are comfortable and decor is welcoming with a touch of whimsy.Well equipped kitchen with everything you need to bake or cook.Extra linens and throw pillows help to make you feel at home. Hazel and Steve have put a lot of effort into making this house a temporary home for all who stay.We'll be back!

Outstanding property. Everything is immaculate & everything you need. Close to town if you need shopping. The hosts are extremely responsive if you need anything at all. It’s been a please staying here twice. I highly recommend this house.

We had a wonderful stay! This home is sparkling clean with comfy beds and furniture. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need as is the entire house. The yard is beautifully manicured and the home is in a quiet neighborhood. Hazel was so responsive and delightful to communicate with. We hope to stay again and look forward to having more time to explore the beautiful area.

Best VRBO I have stayed in! Everything was immaculate inside & out. House had EVERYTHING you can imagine. Beds were comfortable, shower pressure was great. Owner was very communicative. Cannot say enough about how good it was.

Beautiful get away

Everything you need is there. The hosts were very good at special touches to make us feel welcome. They provided info on places of interest and how to operate all appliances, tv, etc. House was very clean. Hosts were very open to any questions we had. Just Perfect Accommodations and Amazingly Clean!

We came to Oak Harbor with our family for a memorial service and I can not say enough about how the host had this house prepared for our stay. Besides it being spotless, the home had everything we needed at our disposal. We had plenty of towels, blankets, pillows and the owner left us coffee pods, ground coffee, sugar, cider, chocolate, paper towels and toilet paper along with other things.. It was such a blessing because we had such a long trip and had a lot to attend to when we were there. Not having to run to the store right away was great. Also, had everything we needed to iron our suits, etc and wash cloths when needed. Backyard was beautiful although we did not have time to use it, we enjoyed looking at the pretty grounds. Great fireplace for relaxing and beds were comfortable too. Thank you Hazel and Steve. We would recommend your property to anyone who needs to stay in Oak Harbor.

Top notch property!

I had a wonderful stay at Hazel’s house! It is meticulously maintained and she thought of everything! The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The property is located in a nice residential area close to businesses. I would definitely recommend to stay here!

This property was amazing. So clean and beautiful. Well supplied with amenities plus thoughtful little touches by the owner. The little patio and beautiful backyard was perfect to enjoy coffee. The owner was wonderful in her communication and very helpful and friendly. I will be back.

One of the best I have stayed at.

After a terrible experience with friends at the coast, I was a little nervous to see what this rental with family was going to bring. Chocolate and flowers greeted us. It was clean, had anything you could need in the kitchen and family room. We spent most of the time hiking, and it was great to come back to and make a meal as well as a hot shower. Would highly recommend.

Family Friendly and Super Clean

The house was very clean and had everything you could need. I appreciated having coffee and tea and spices. There were only three of us but the house could easily accommodate six and still feel spacious. The garden was lovely and well manicured. Check in was smooth and Hazel was easy to work with and promptly answered any inquires. We would stay there again if we return.

This motto, first said to me decades ago by a distant relative, has shaped me both personally and professionally. After more than forty years in the retail and hospitality industries, I retired last December to focus my attention on my expanding family. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and I am fortunate to have the majority of my family living close by on Whidbey Island.

As a lifelong native to the breathtaking Pacific Northwest, I fully enjoy Washington state and all of the beauty it has to offer. Our temperate climate allows for a variety of year-around activities, such as hiking, boating, and skiing. In my spare time, I also enjoy crafting and meeting new people over a delicious cup of coffee.

Oak Harbor has been my husband and I's home for over eighty combined years, and it is a community unlike any other. From our beautiful state parks to our breathtaking Puget Sound views, Whidbey Island is a treasure we want others to experience firsthand. We carefully selected this home for its central location and beautiful interior design.
