It was a perfect spot for a little getaway for my 2 grown kids , 1 grandchild and myself. Close to the beach, everything was clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Location

Enjoyed our stay at the condo. I’ve seen a few reviews talking about upgrades needed to the place. I will say this, the description and pictures are very accurate of the condo. It is not fancy by any means but it is clean, quiet and convenient to the beach. One thing that I feel should be upgraded is putting key code door lock instead of having to keep up with a key. Also, the main living area has curtains up and when you go to shut the door when you leave it is nearly impossible to shut the curtains leaving the full glass door open for anyone walking by to see everything in the room. Adding blinds will be so much better. I was not comfortable just having all of our things just open in clear view. There are also not any fans in the condo and the bedroom gets really really hot, so make sure to bring fans. There is not a dishwasher which is stated in the description, but there also isn’t any dish soap provided to wash dishes. The balcony/walkway is a little sketchy because there are several areas where the wood is rotted and I was a little scared to walk across. But the complex is overall nice and we would stay there again for sure. The property manager was very helpful and responsive to all my questions very quickly. The pool is hot anytime you get it in, but was still enjoyable. If stairs are an issue for you this isn’t the best place. The ocean is located just a short 5mins across the road and we never had an issue getting across the road. Great place overall.

Awesome spot!

This spot was so great for a fun, beach getaway! The owner was AMAZING! He not only let us check in early, but also was just a text away if we needed anything. Can't reccomend this place enough!

April 2021 Stay

The condo did not meet our expectations. We had to purchased cleaning products to clean the areas that were not clean when we arrived. Such as the bathtub, there was mold on shower curtainand a dirty trash can. The front door entrance was very dirty and not inviting. The back deck needed more curb appeal like the neighbors. On our departure we encountered rain which created waterfalls along walkway and at bottom of stairs there was a lagoon to walk through. We noticed the other buildings did not have the same issues. It made for packing our car miserable.

Property and Condo needs TLC

The price was right. The property needs work for sure. Our condo (Moonraker 3) was either not cleaned or marginally. I contacted Luna they send over cleaners right away to make things right. Condo itself had a front door that would not open up all they way and very old appliances in the kitchen. The refrigerator was leaking water we had to place a towel inside the door and we figured out if you ran the icemaker the dripping stopped. This kind of took away from our vacation down there. I was in touch w/Luna and there were very accommodating. I asked them to reach out to the Condo association and condo owner to please correct the deficiencies I pointed out. Luna said they would work on that.

Everything was great!! Very affordable, clean, and quiet!! Right across from the beach with hardly no walk at all with amazing views of the beach from our balcony!! Will definitely be staying here again!!

Our unit was perfect for our first time visit to Gulf Shores. Everything was very clean, comfortable bed, the area was quiet, family friendly, beach right across the street. We will definitely be back!

Not ideal if you're flying in

Property was ok, did not meet prior experiences with similar venues. No instructions for lock box to access key, no after hours number provided with check in information. Lock was not digital, & did not work, took over an hour & had to pry open to get in. Basic necessities not supplied, had to purchase cooking spray, salt & pepper, cleaning utensils, toilet paper, trash bags then give them away at the end of the stay to others. Should provide more for the cost & to have repeat travelers. Location is far from food & shops, transportation & food delivery is very very limited. Prepare to wait a minimum of 30 minutes & pay $40 for a taxi to go 5 miles to the nearest food/shopping area. Not ideal if you're flying in, better off staying on east beach blvd or orange beach where you're within walking distance.

Great location

The property was just as described. The location was perfect. Close enough to the center of everything to drive to, but far enough away to be quiet. Access for the beach is directly across the street. The appliance are slightly dated but it didn’t take away from our stay. It would have been to have an umbrella for the picnic table outside for shade in the morning & afternoon.

Could be great, but needs better cleaning.

There were a few areas that needed work. The bedskirt on the bed had a large noticeable rust/mold stain. The balcony had spills or vomit on it and some used bandaids on the ground. I texted on arrival and emailed the manager the following day, when they said they would send someone out. We didn't care to have someone come to clean while we were there, so we declined. We did see one cockroach in the bathroom during our visit, which my partner killed. The dishes were all dirty and needed to be washed before use. The dish rack had serious greenish crust on it so we didn't use it when drying dishes. The bathroom was newly painted and there was new flooring throughout, which was cute. Unfortunately, I like to do yoga - so I got a closer look under couches and furniture, which didn't see a vacuum recently. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and liked the area. Our condo could have had a better cleaning before we arrived.

Last min girls trip

This was a cute little condo/apartment. The parking spots were confusing (they skip around all over the place. The bedroom window and door window need a curtain on them, they face the east so you get that early morning sun. For having a cleaning fee there was stuff under the bed, and under the couch, and some sand on the couch. Long black hairs on the pillow shams. They did provide a couple packs of dishwasher detergent.. never found a dishwasher.. wasn’t able to take trash out as I couldn’t find any replacement bags. This apartment was located right across the street from the beach with an access, but do recommend using the public beach access if your taking your beach supplies in a wagon the public access has a longer board walk and you don’t have to struggle pulling it through the sand. The area was very quiet and only a few miles from the tourist area. Would stay again

Great family vacation.

The overall experience was great. Had kids wake me up early but if not the sunshine in bedroom without curtains would have been frustrating. Condo was clean and as described. Only issue we had was the dumpster in back of building was filled too quickly and garbage lay about the area, not a pleasant site.

Overall, it was a good experience.

The condo was close to the overall description as listed. I would recommend the owner to hang curtains in the bedroom to assist with the sun in the morning. Also, it would be a nice addition to purchase some beach accessories such as chairs for guests to use.
