Franco-Irish family with 2 children, we live in another region of France although "Papa" is originally from the CĂŽte D'Or department in Burgundy. We inherited this ancient farmhouse which has belonged to our family for several generations. This has been a labour of love renovation project, and is a great getaway from our otherwise hectic lives.
Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
We decided that it would be a good idea to rent our home from 2016, now that is completely renovated and furnished. We cannot avail of it as often as we would like and would like for others to enjoy it as well as the Cote d'Or region with its famous wines nearby and proximity to the lovely old wine capital of Beaune.
With our future holidaymakers fully in mind, we also intend to continue investing in our home to the same high standards, including the addition of an outdoor swimming pool in the coming years and perhaps a conversion or partial conversion of the attic. We will use seasonal rental income for this purpose as well as to help with ongoing costs of this secondary home in its current configuration and to add elements this year such as outdoor playing equipment for children, bicyles for all ages etc.
With our future holidaymakers fully in mind, we also intend to continue investing in our home to the same high standards, including the addition of an outdoor swimming pool in the coming years and perhaps a conversion or partial conversion of the attic.
