The Big Kahuna kommer att bli en utmärkt familjedestination för din sommarsemester. Det finns gott om plats för en stor familj eller flera familjer. Utsikten över havet är helt obegränsad och du kan sitta på den överbyggda verandan, koppla av på oceansidens soläck eller gå några steg och vara på sanden. Med sex sovrum och fem badrum sova detta rymliga hem 18 personer. Vardagsrummet har gott om sittplatser och har en 65 "TV. Matplatsen sitter 8 och det finns också 4 barstolar. Det nyligen ombyggda köket har rostfria vitvaror och vackra bänkskivor i kvarts tillsammans med en kakelplatta. Köket är fullt utrustat med allt du behöver laga mat för din familj.

En mycket stor mastersvit har en king size-säng och en extra privat sittgrupp där du kan koppla av, läsa och titta på havet. Dessutom är två andra sovrum på övervåningen oceanfront med en vacker utsikt. Ett sovrum har en king size-säng och den andra en drottning.

Nedre våningen är lika rymlig och har 1 sovrum med 2 drottningar, ett sovrum med 2 fulla sängar och ett spelrum / sovrum med en full-size futon, tvåbäddsrum med dubbla trundel.

Massor av böcker, spel och filmer finns tillgängliga för din njutning. Varje badrum har dusch och 4 badkar har också badkar. Det finns ingen väntan på en dusch efter att ha spelat på stranden.

En dubbel bil garage innehåller en extra tvättmaskin / torktumlare tillsammans med tillräckligt med utrymme för att parkera 2 bilar om du vill. Det finns också ett bordtennisbord i garaget. En utomhusdusch är också tillgänglig för att skölja av sanden.

On the Beach at the beach

Enjoying morning coffee listening to the surf, plenty of room for mixing with our 18 family members and when a break was needed the master suite was a comfortable sanctuary. Great location, house and vacation for all. Thanks for your hospitality.

Wonderful Beach Week

We had a great week at the Big Kahuna! The cottage was so spacious, well decorated, and well cleaned. The extra amenities, such as the elevator and industrial ice maker, really spoiled us. The host was great to work with. We will definitely be renting again in the future.

Annual Family Beach Trip

I'd give the property and the property manager 6 stars! House was roomy and comfortable. Access to garage, ice machine, coolers, beach chairs, and second set of washer/dryer was great. Best stocked kitchen we've experienced during a vacation stay. Back porch and deck was amazing. Nicest property I've stayed at to-date. Communication with property manager was fabulous.....best yet. Hope we have the opportunity to visit again!

Summer escape

Big Kahuna was a very nice property, we had plenty of space for our whole family. Elevator was perfect for our older family members. The kitchen was well stocked, which was a plus because we cooked in most nights. Property supplied beach chairs, coolers and beach toys. Loved the covered porch. Easy to contact owners for any questions. Close to the stores and plenty of restaurants were nearby. Hope to come back next year.

Family Week

We felt like this house was perfect for our family - 5 adults and 5 kids under 5. Look forward to renting again in the future. The deck and access to the beach are definite highlights with a great outdoor shower and multiple hoses to spray off when coming up from the beach. GIANT ice maker in the garage would be great if you enjoy fishing, or perfect for keeping things cold on the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of games for adults and things for kids in the house which were an unexpected bonus. Communication with the owner was great leading us to check in and throughout our stay.

Great family memories

Our family had a wonderful week at Pine Knoll Shores! The Big Kahuna was perfect for our large family and everyone had space to spread out and relax. The covered porch was the big hang out area and we were just steps away from the ocean!! Bruce and Terry were amazing hosts and were always available if you needed anything. We enjoyed ping pong in the well equipped garage area and a family talent show in the spacious living area. The ice machine was a real bonus!! What a fun week! We will be back next year!! Elliott

The Best Host and a Great House

Our entire family agrees this was a fabulous house. Bruce was a wonderful host. He contacted us immediately upon booking to introduce himself. He reached out again a month out and while we were there. He took quite a bit of time to help us with restaurant selections. We really appreciate all the help. The house was beautiful. It was extremely spacious, clean and very well stocked. So often things are overpromised and under delivered. Our joke was this was the opposite. We found many more amenities than was listed. Thank you Bruce for making our family vacation a truly wonderful experience.

This is a very nice house on a very uncrowded section of Emerald Isle, but only 10 minutes away from Atlantic BeachEverything worked well, and there’s lots of extras like boogie boards, and beach chairs and kids toys, along with a big TV and very comfortable chairs in the dining roomThe bedrooms are all a decent size and there are plenty of bathrooms in the house for each bedroom to have its own bathroom, even if you have to cross the hallway to access itThe owner was communicative and an experienced host

Great vacation

This was an overall great vacation. The place is gorgeous, the ocean was warm and turquoise colored. The host, Bruce, is a fantastic host, generous and answers fast. The house is perfect, with 3 masters on the main floor for the 3 couples. The kids stayed in the basement and everyone had their bed and was happy! Full of toys for the kids and adults to play, we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Bruce, we will certainly come back next year!

Wonderful property

The house was everything+ as described. Communication with Owner was excellent and much appreciated. Everyone had fun. The bonus of a full moon over the ocean and the sea turtle migration to the ocean almost in front of the house was a special bonus. This was a wonderful vacation at a great house.

A True Gem!

The Big Kahuna was a wonderful and relaxing retreat for the entire family! Not only is the home situated in a safe/private area, it has the most spectacular beachfront views and inviting space for friends and family to relax and connect. Bruce is a wonderful host; friendly and responsive for everything. You can tell this home is special with the personal touches noted throughout the home. Hope to visit again soon!

Exceeds all expectations

An amazing property and owner. Absolutely no complaints. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and this property made the week very special. So well stocked. So comfortable (beds and furniture). Very spacious and many details that just make it so nice like drawers of hidden toys and a fully equipped bar and kitchen. There were even cake pans for the birthday cake. A+ experience

BEST VACATION EVER!!!

This house was perfect for our multi family of 13 (8 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 kids). Not only was this house beautiful and perfectly located right on the beach, but some of the elderly family members said they felt like they were on a cruise ship with the views from their balcony!! The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off the sand!! Bruce was a wonderful host and was always responsive to anything we needed!! Everyone had such a great time and we look forward to returning in the near future!!

Peace at Pine Knolls

For the third year in a row, our family and friends gathered at the Big Kahuna for some fun, relaxation, and family time. The weather was beautiful, the beach was spectacular, and a good time was had! The house is always clean and ready when we arrive. We enjoy being able to spread out to watch TV, read, or nap but we also have room to gather for meals and games. Until next year....

Our family had an amazing time staying at the Big Kahuna! We had 17 people on our vacation and had so much room to spread out. Big Kahuna is a beautiful home and we would highly recommend it 🙂

The Big Kahuna does not disappoint! The house is spacious and clean with all the needed amenities. The recent upgrades to the deck are perfect! Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Pine Knoll Shores.
