Breakaway är ett vackert och välskött hus som ägs i över 18 år av samma ägare. Varje år uppdateras och förvaras i obefläckat skick. Det är en mycket kort promenad till en av de 21 bästa stränderna i världen enligt en ny studie från National Geographic.
Sunset Beach är en lugn familjstrand perfekt för familjer och par. Vi erbjuder fyra sovrum och tre badrum med en utomhusdusch. Vår skärmad veranda erbjuder utsikt över havet samt vår änkeklocka på tredje våningen. Det finns en privat balkong på övervåningen sovrummet. Nyligen tillagd är ett utomhus hyres lockout område för dina cyklar, golfklubbar, solstolar etc. ...

Observera: Under sommarmånaderna ingår inte sängkläder, handdukar, tvål och schampo på grund av att vi hyr både på VRBO och via ett lokalt hyrebolag. Under lågsäsongmånaderna ingår sängkläder och handdukar i hyran.

Beautiful, bright and easy walk to beach

We had a wonderful stay at The Breakaway! The house was clean, the kitchen well-stocked, there were plenty of bathrooms for folks to use plus an outside shower for rinsing sand off when coming back to beach. Even though linens/towels aren’t provided it wasn’t a big deal for us. It was a few minutes walk to the beach, market and shops. Lorelei was great to work with and very responsive and our family had a wonderful time:)

Another wonderful stay

We started staying at this house in 2019 after renting on 36th street for 30+ years. Our 6th stay was just as wonderful as the past 5. The house is perfect for a family with young kids, as it’s close to the beach and has ample space for all. The kitchen is fully stocked and boasted some nice updates since last summer. The owner is extremely communicative and very responsive to any questions or concerns (but we never have concerns). My boys refer to The Breakaway as our “Sunset Beach house” and it would be hard to stay anywhere else! Another week that we were all sad to see come to an end. Thank you, Lorelei!

Very nice

The house was very clean and updated. It is within minutes walking distance to the beach and access to the beach was very easy. The rooftop deck and screened in porch were enjoyable. AC works very well. (We went during a very hot week) Also an added benefit, this beach is the quietest beach area I have ever stayed. Very peaceful and relaxing. Overall a very nice place and would highly recommend.

Great location!

Our family loves staying at this beach house! It is the perfect set-up for us! Everyone has their own room and bathroom, the living room is a large space for everyone to hang out in and it is not too far from the beach! The host has been great and has been an easy process! We thoroughly enjoy our week stay every summer and plan to come back!

Couples Trip to the Beach

Great Family Vacation

We had another great stay at this property. It’s perfect for our family. Close to the beach and pier (easy walk) and the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and cookware etc. Love it is convenient to the convenience store and ice cream shop, too.

We had a wonderful stay at The Breakaway. The house was clean and decorated beautifully! The house had everything we needed for the week. The beach, fishing pier, and shops were just a short walk away. There were different community events such as craft fairs and live music on the fishing pier which you could hear from the screened porch. You will definitely enjoy yourself at The Breakaway!

Loved our stay at this home. It worked well for our family (6 adults and 2 small children). Great location close to the beach and everything in Sunset Beach. The photos and description were accurate. Host was responsive. We already booked the house again for next year!

Wonderful

This was our third year coming here. Wonderfully kept spacious house with plenty of room for our group of 3 adults and 4 kids. Our favorites are it is within walking distance to the beach and ice cream, and it has plenty of outdoor balcony space including a screened in balcony and a widows watch where you can see and hear the ocean from the house.

Beautiful house close to the beach with a view

This beach house was perfect for us! We loved the floor plan and how well it was stocked. Everything was clean and welcoming. What we liked most was that it was convenient to the beach and pier. A short walk to both made it the perfect spot for us! We definitely recommend staying here and plan to rebook it again ourselves!

Perfect family getaway!

This was our first trip since the start of the pandemic. We couldn't have found a more perfect house, location or beach. The house met our every need, clean, spacious and a fully stocked kitchen! The beach was easily walkable even with umbrellas, chairs and stroller. It was the perfect setting for a carefree family getaway. Thank you for the wonderful memories, we will be back!

We are Paul and Lorelei Milan and have owned The Breakaway for 23 years. Our now adult children learned to swim and ride bikes as children at SSB. Each year we upgrade the home as it is our home away from home. As avid golfers and travelers we try to get to Sunset Beach as much as possible. Over the past 23 years this home has become our family gathering place with multiple generations. The times we cannot be there we enjoy opening our home to fellow travelers and beach lovers. We hope your family makes lifetime memories here as we have done.

One of the top reasons we chose the Breakaway was the close proximity to the beach and other island amenities. We love the open floor plan and knew the upper decks and lower screened in porch would be a perfect place for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Unlike a lot of homes, we improve our property each year.
