It was a great place. We came up for two nights with our girls to ski Sugar mountain. The location was very convenient. The condo was clean. The kitchen and bathrooms could use an update but overall it was a great value for the price.

The condo was great and the view was fantastic when you aren’t out and about with all there is to do in the area. The Host was great to communicate with and the unit has all you need to feel at home. Mike also made an excellent recommendation for a special dinner and Stonewalls was spot on with excellent food and service. My wife and I will be back.

The trip is a Christmas gift for my granddaughter, she really enjoys snowboarding Sugartop. We have stayed with the same host for several years now, & really enjoy the amenities in the unit as well as the resort.Already planning on a return trip next year.

We had a wonderful stay in this very cozy room—thank the host for sharing such a lovely space. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you might need, including flour, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, plastic wrap, foil, and pots in various sizes. Having a washer and dryer in the unit, along with laundry detergent, was incredibly convenient, and the trash chute being on the same floor made things even easier.Although the unit is on the first floor, the view is absolutely gorgeous since the entire apartment sits at the top of Sugar Mountain. From the porch, you can watch skiers and lift. Besides, the sunset views are truly spectacular.Before arriving, I was a bit concerned about parking, as cars need to be parked in the lower lot and guests rely on the shuttle to reach the apartment. However, during our stay— even during the Christmas period—the shuttle service was very frequent and efficient, with an average wait time of only about one to two minutes. It turned out to be extremely convenient.The apartment also has many games, books, and board games, which were perfect for keeping the kids entertained. I would highly recommend this place to friends and would definitely love to stay here again.

The resort and staff were phenomenal. The room was dirty and the pictures made it look like the view was beautiful. In fact you are on the 1st floor with a balcony view of the a/c unit or big metal box. Couch was old and very uncomfortable. The rugs were filthy. We left after the first night. Again resort was phenomenal, room was not.

My review

The condo was very nice. Was stocked very well. Do need a least one sharp knife. Picked a loaf of bread. Without realizing it wasn’t sliced. Only a butter knife. The only negative thing I would say. Is that the pictures that you provided. Never shows that your balcony opens up to a roof. Kind of kills the view.

The view, cool temps, and beautiful flowers!

Wonderful place to stay in the summer. Flowers are blooming everywhere and the cooler temps are a delight. The kitchen has great tools to cook elaborate meals. We loved our weeks stay!!

Disingenuous

I found out the property has no air conditioning by entering the condo when it was 88. Inside. Completely disingenuous right from the outset. Several dozen college age men pushed us out of the pool so we couldn't enjoy it Wednesday. Then, after dinner Thursday about 7pm, we were informed we couldn't park in the empty parking lot beside the building anymore. We left before I got upset and got back around 2am. Thanks for nothing. Terrible place.

Best deal at the resort!

We loved it here! The place was great for a family of 5. The air mattress came in handy. You’re only about a 5 minute drive from the slopes and 8-10 minute drive from downtown banner elk! I highly recommend bellas italian restaurant, tubing and Highland Ski rentals! Micheal was easy to work with and answered all of our questions promptly.
