Kiahuna Plantation # 57 ~ Garden Paradise på Poipu Beach!

Njut av den tropiska paradiset Kiahuna Plantation, en av de mest rymliga fastigheter på ön. Fastigheten har 35 tunnland av välklippta gräsmattor och tropiska trädgårdar som leder till en vacker halvmåneformade stranden och lugna havet vatten. Condos är låga Hawaiian plantage-stil med gott om utrymme i-mellan för promenader eller spela spel på den stora gräsmattor. Kiahuna är den enda stranden lägenhet resort i Poipu.

Vår lägenhet ligger centralt i en stor trädgård plats och en två minuters promenad till stranden. Vi är på första våningen, enhet # 57 i byggandet av # 11. Den Lanai öppnar rätt ut till gräsmattan. Det finns ett bord och stolar och fåtöljer för avkoppling. Våra badrum renoverades i travertinplattor, sovrummet har en ny säng (augusti 2013), och ett nytt kylskåp och diskmaskin. Vi gör kontinuerliga uppgraderingar. Det finns gratis kabel internet, och vi har köpt en trådlös router så bärbara datorer kan tas ut på Lanai med lätthet. En grill ligger framför vår enhet. Inget behov av att köra till tvätt som vi är också några steg bort.

Kiahuna fronter en vacker halvmåneformade strand där man kan bada, snorkla, boogie-board och surfa. Stranden är skyddad av ett rev. Gratis stolar och strand handdukar.

Denna uthyrning levereras med tillgång till Poipu Athletic Club, som ligger tvärs över gatan från Kiahuna Plantation, som inkluderar fri användning av följande:
• Fantastisk pool med vattenrutschbana, barn strandområdet (perfekt miljö för barnen!), Lounger och parasoller.
• Tennisbanor och bollen maskin (bara fråga!)
• Vikter, elliptikar, stationära cyklar, löpband, Nautilus-typ vikter, luftkonditionerade hjärtrum.
För en liten avgift finns det också ett antal klasser att välja mellan, inklusive Vatten Aerobics, Core, Yoga, Training Essentials och Yoga.


Poipu Shopping Village och Kiahuna Golf Course är också tvärs över gatan. Poipu Bay Golf Course är en mil väg.

Lovely Location

Love this area of Kauai and Christine was very nice to work with. I have recommended this location to friends considering a trip to the island due to its closeness to beach, shopping and food.

We were disappointed with the condo. There was a large stain on the carpet when you enter the bedroom. The furniture is worn and sun-faded. Overall, it seemed to be in disrepair and in need of updating. For example, the grout in the tile was nasty. The resort itself is beautiful and located in a great area. The grounds are gorgeous. We would stay at Kiahuna Plantation again, just not in this condo.

We love this property. The gardens are so beautiful and it's so close to one of the best beaches in Kauai. This condo was great - clean, comfortable and quiet with a beautiful grassy lanai and a 2 minute walk to the beach.

Lovely Stay

My husband and I had a lovely 5 night stay in a beautiful location! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the condo had everything we needed. We enjoyed having a kitchen and space to spread out. The property is beautiful and it is easy to be here. Aloha!

Great property as described

Check in after hours was exactly as described. This property is so lovely with the green space and right on the beach. Athletic club was great too, kids loved the pool and parents could choose to exercise or get an adult beverage!

Great location!

Condo is great - lots of light makes it feel open and spacious. Lanai feels like a private area with the trees blocking neighboring condos view. Short walk to the beach and several restaurants. Easy walk to Poipu Beach to snorkel and see the seals and turtles.

Kauai time

We stayed here 15 years ago under another owner and the unit did not disappoint! It was as advertised, and there were beach items available to be used. The kitchen was stocked with additional dishes to make it easier for our group of three families to congregate from other units that were not as well equipped. Thanks for making this a great family trip!

What paradise should be

I loved staying here. It what paradise should be…waking up to the sounds of birds singing, the wind through the trees, and occasional rain. The property was beautiful and the condo was exactly as expected. The condo was very lovely with its Hawaiian charm. Check in was super easy and the staff was very friendly. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Refreshing and restful stay

We had a most fabulous time in Popiu this visit (our 3rd). The condo was clean and represented well on the listing. Our only wish would have been for it to include some folding beach chairs as the stairs near the beach shed were washed out and the ones we could use for 'free' were too cumbersome to get to the shore. All in all, our visit was just what we desired and we wanted to stay longer! Thank you!

Lovely Setting

We have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation several times before, so we had something to compare this condo with. The kitchen needs to be updated (in fact, the refrigerator stopped working while there), and the upholstery and rugs need a good cleaning. The bedroom needs more lighting. Otherwise, the place was a fine home away from home, comfortable with a lovely location on the grounds.

We apologize for the inconvenience with the refrigerator. We have purchased and installed a brand new refrigerator. We will do a deep clean on the upholstery and rugs and look in to additional lighting in the bedroom. Thank you for your feedback and we hope to have you stay again in the future.

Bathroom sink

On the next to the last day of our stay, the drain plug would not stay in the open position to drain the water. We had to use one hand to hold the drain open whenever we ran the water and didn’t want to fill the sink up. That was the only problem we had. Just telling you so you know about it for the next guest(s). Otherwise we loved our stay.

Great place to stay

Had a really nice time, property is fantastic, kitchen was very well equipped, great patio. We messed up dates by one day on short notice but were able to get things worked out with the staff on site. Very much appreciated!

A nice place to stay on Kauai

We enjoyed our stay here. Very relaxing. The condo had everything we needed. We got daily towels and beach chairs and were able to rent a beach umbrella for our stay. We were entertained by the chicken family that hung out by our patio. We hope to come again!

Kauai Paradise

Kiahuna Plantation is our favorite place on Kauai and we’ve stayed there twice before, so we knew what to expect of the lovely grounds and beach areas. The condo we rented this trip was exactly as we expected and we enjoyed a fabulous 10 days in paradise. We would definitely rent this condo again.

Nice condo in great location

Very nice unit in great location. Check in was a little odd with Castle. Due to Covid limits, we had to do the check in standing outside on their porch but it was understandable. Unit had everything we needed to cook and had plenty of room for the two of us. Saw boogie boards though we didn’t use them. Fridge was rattling a bit so might want to check that out, but didn’t bother us too much or keep us awake. We had some issues keeping the bugs out. We always kept the screens closed but they kept coming in somewhere. Bed was firm but very comfortable. Coffee pot didn’t work (seemed shorted out) but we called the front desk and they rushed us over a new one right away. There was a rooster that serenaded us at all hours but we managed to keep the noise out at night by closing the shutters. An extra standing fan would be nice as we had an issue keeping the place cool, even with the ceiling fans on and shutters open during the day. Overall, a great place and is well kept.

Poipu beach

My adult niece and I really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is a very short walk to the beach with plenty of beach chairs and access to beach. Very friendly workers and grounds were beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. cons: no air conditioner which was fine for April but maybe not August, the pool was a very long walk across a busy street and up a hill at the shared athletic club which leads to my 2nd con, you really need a car. Very limited car services like Uber etc.
