Great Getaway!

Awesome Location

The location was perfect as we preferred being out of the city area. Close to MANY beaches. The amenities were perfect - washer/dryer, dishwasher, and beach towls! Very clean unit and sofa bed in living room was quite comfortable. If I ever return to Oahu, I would definitely stay here again!

Nice stay

It was nice to have our own space.The place was clean and well stocked. The only negative was construction noise in the apartment next door one of the days we were there but that is not anything the owner had control over. We just decided to leave and explore for the day.

Great location. Golf course is closed, so nice park! Great hiking, gorgeous ocean and turtle viewing. Condo is fairly priced, dated, but adequate. Enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay!

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay in Turtle Bay! Location is amazing…centrally located to all the amazing beaches of the North Shore…and shopping in Laie. Bed is comfy and the kitchen is well stocked. We appreciated the filtered water! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect romantic getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! This is the perfect condo for 2 - the pool is right outside and Turtle Bay resort is a short walk away. The condo is clean and updated. The property manager communicated well letting us know when we could check in. We had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!

Was not clean when we arrived. Dorito chip mess on floor and furniture. Dirty bathroom with pee on toilet, black whiskers and toothpaste in and aound sink. Had to make the bed and vacuum and sweep the floors, & fold a dryer full of towels before we could finally relax. The microwave door wouldn't open without force and prying. Security light above the front door flashed off and on all night, every night of our stay. Apart from that, we had a nice stay. Bed was comfortable.

Great location

This property was clean and had all necessary amenities. The bed was comfy and TV app selection was great. Located perfectly between the resort and a very quiet beach, all walking distance. We are avid golfers and the clubhouse was just a short walk down the cart path. Host was very responsive with the one question we had. We would definitely stay again.

Quiet get away

The property was great. All the extras were supplied. Beach chairs, snorkel gear, boards, everything we needed. The cone was quiet and well situated which ever directionyou eanted to head. We would definitely book again.

Fantastic stay!

Super comfortable and clean. Awesome TV for watching movies in the evening. Kitchen is nicely equipped. The location is great for exploring the amazing North Shore. Great communication and easy to find based on directions provided. We would definitely return. Thank you Joel !

Great condo in a great North Shore location

We had a wonderful 4-night stay in Kuilima Estates West in April, 2023. The condo was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the pool was amazing. From major things like parking included, the gorgeous pool, and a beautiful view of the golf course and the ocean beyond, to small things like a pitcher of cold filtered water in the fridge when we arrived, this was an amazing choice for our North Shore stay. Lots of beaches, restaurants, and activities to enjoy nearby. We highly recommend Joel’s condo and would happily return if we’re ever back on that part of Oahu. Mahalo, Joel!

It was a very nice place with the exception that the shower doors did not have rollers. They are heavy glass and difficult to slide. These need to be fixed.

Fabulous Little Gem of a Property

I stayed with my college-age son as we did college tours on Oahu. The property was pristinely clean and that immediately impressed me. I appreciated the location because I am a country-girl at heart and don't like being in "town" when I am on Oahu. The convenience of the property was great for being all over the island. The space was great for the two of us and would have been fine for up to three or four. The kitchen had a good stock of cooking things. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets. The air conditioner worked well and there were fans available. Communication with host was super great. I will likely return multiple times visiting my son at school on Oahu. No complaints at all. One observation for future travelers....if you like cushy t.p., bring your own.

Beautiful and clean home

Overall this place is fantastic, the area is beautiful and the house is clean, well taken care of and a great choice. The view out over the golf course is fantastic and there are a ton of amenities that you can take advantage of. The only negatives are the stairs, very steep and with a downstairs bathroom they can be scary to navigate while half asleep. The tv had been broken by the previous renter and the owner and the cleaner were extremely quick to work with us and get a time to replace it. Huge shout out to Michell and her husband who were beyond friendly and honestly a highlight of staying was their hospitality and helpfulness. The only reason for not having a 5 star across the board was between us not being at the house and the owner being busy we weren’t ever able to get the sign in process for the tv fully complete. Check in and out was a breeze and one of the easiest I have done through VRBO. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great North Shore stay.

Nice location and nice apartment. Air conditioning is a bit outdated compared to the other units around. Microwave didn’t open. Dust behind the TV and at the portable fan units.

Door code didn’t work. Couldn’t contact host. Had to move to a hotel down the road. Customer service was nice and refunded stay plus 50%. Pretty lame showing up to our condo at 8:30 pm in the dark and not being able to get in. Luckily the hotel had by the PCC had vacancy or we’d have to drive all the way back to Honolulu!

We chose this property because we fell in love with Oahu & it's diversity. The north shore had the most relaxing feel. This particular condo had been totally remodeled by the previous owner who was a wood craftsman. With the intent to live there, he put a lot of care into every detail.
