10/10 experience. Came up for a quick weekend getaway and couldn't be happier, The cabin was the perfect mix of rustic yet amenable and the host did a great job of ensuring that everything was clean and ready on our arrival. It was such a good time we anticipate returning!

We had such a lovely stay here at the cabin. The bed was comfortable, the fire place was nice, and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings-even did a little walk in the stream. We’d come back again!

The cabin was well equipped and perfect for our 4-legged children. The host/owner thought about everything to make our stay relaxing and smooth. The creek is easily accessible and creates a soothing sound and picturesque back drop. The cabin is a bit remote and takes a little time, on very curvy roads, to get into Boone or Blowing Rock.

Pros: Cabin itself super cute, a real rustic cabin feel, creek out back deep enough for my lab to swim and play in, great large flat backyard, fireplace in LR was super nice, screened in back porch was huge, full kitchen, bathrooms and kitchen very clean, 20 minutes to Boone. Cons: Lighting inside cabin very dark. Kitchen has overhead fluorescent type lighting which for me was unpleasant. No lighting going up the stairs. Bright overhead ceiling light in LR which was unpleasant. Close to the road, maybe 20 yards and cabin on same property very close too. Not private. All in all it was a very pleasant peaceful stay and I would definitely return in the future! Loved how rustic it was! Thank you!

We loved the cabin this was our 2nd time coming back. The hot tub was relaxing. We loved the screened in pourch to sit out and listen t o the stream. This vacation was definitely what we needed. Five

Great quiet location. The cabin is perfect for an intimate couples retreat. Our dogs loved the stream and abundant green space to play. There is another cabin that is situated close so it is not completely private. Also, the road to get to Boone/ Blowing Rock/trails/etc. is very long and windy. It Takes 15 minutes to get to and from the main road. So it takes a good 30minutes to get to where you might want to go.

Beautiful, rustic log cabin by a little stream. It's picturesque, quiet, peaceful. The cabin has all modern amenities, including pretty fast WiFi. Be prepared for a few miles of winding road to get there, but it's worth the drive.

We had a great stay. The location is quiet, peaceful. The fireplace is wonderful. The kitchen has plenty of supplies, cookware, dishes. It is well stocked with towels, sheets, and blankets. We enjoyed having a fire by the creek in the evenings. We would definitely book again.

Great to have the roomy kitchen to cook. The screened porch view over the creek is a lovely place to relax. The location has plenty of fresh air and quiet. The creek is very nice. Note if you must have do online meetings or make calls using the WiFi, the signal is weak since the location is in a deep valley.
