Lovely winter weekend getaway

Our group had day passes to Vetta Nordic spa, and the house was a perfect base for us. Spacious, comfortable, clean, and with beautiful views over the frozen lake. We all loved it and we would return!

Beautiful view ! Very clean and elegant cottage!

We had a great time at this place. Very clean. Newly renovated. Big and spacey rooms, chef's kitchen. High end furnitures and equipment. View is exceptional. Randy was very kind and professional. He was quick to reply. Overall excellent place to enjoy with family and friends.

Excellent winter weekend

Four of us needed a winter getaway - we were looking for space, and that winter lodge type feeling , and Randy's place fit the bill perfectly. From the hotter overlooking the water, to the gourmet kitchen to the ample space for all, it was well worth the price. We will definitely return!

Stunning Lake House!

We had a fantastic two night stay at this Lake House. The kitchen was a PERFECT chef's kitchen with plenty of space to cook and gather. The bedrooms were a great size and the main living room had a good amount of seating for everyone. The favourite seat was fireside. It was a clean, cozy and chic getaway! Highly recommend for any season.

Pictures don’t do it justice

This home went far and above our expectations. It is a large beautiful executive style home that met all of our needs for a family visit. After inquiring about bringing along our two grandsons, Randy had no problem with having them join us for our trip to attend a close family member’s celebration of life. We were able to enjoy the stunning views of the lake on the upper deck for one day when the weather cooperated. The highlight for us was the hot tub! A heads up if you have an allergy to dogs. Our grandson (who is allergic to dogs) needed his puffer a lot during our five night stay there as there is dog dander in the house. When we have stayed at other rentals, there are written instructions on the owner’s expectations and there were none here. We were also surprised to have Randy on site without notice and it felt a bit intrusive at times. It is an amazingly beautiful home in a wonderful location (neighbours were friendly), suited for groups (4 bedrooms) but it felt like Randy had difficulty with others being in his home.

Beautiful location and cottage

The pictures of this cottage do not do it justice ... it is even more stunning in person. Randy’s attention to detail is evident everywhere in the building. It is decorated immaculately with a warm and cozy feel. We stayed over March Break and enjoyed the hot tub, walking on the lake and the quiet and relaxing location. Randy was available by phone or email during our stay and was quick to respond to any of our queries. We would absolutely recommend his place to anyone looking for 5 star accommodation.

Excellent Stay!

What a beautiful home. It was super clean, had very comfortable beds, breathtaking view, fully equipped kitchen, amazing hot tub with a view (fits 6 comfortably), was close to Barrie for excursions, awesome wood fireplace, quiet neighbourhood, super accommodating and kind host. Would stay here again, without question.

What a beautiful place, the pictures really don’t capture just how incredible it is!

Great communication with the owner, and check in was a breeze using a door code provided in a timely manner. The property itself is absolutely incredible and exceptionally well appointed. Gas and wood burning fireplaces both added to the ambiance for a winter getaway, and the view from the hot tub is stunning. I would return here without question, the entire experience from my interaction with the host to the property itself was top shelf. Thank you for a brilliant weekend away!
