Som ung pojke ägde båda mina morföräldrar sjöhus, ett i North Carolina och ett i Virginia. Några av de bästa tiderna i mitt liv var vid sjön med min familj; fiska efter havskatt och bas, simma, segla, koka korv och smores, äta vattenmelon, etc.

Vi har åkt till Lake Anna i över 40 år och vi har haft den här egenskapen vid Lake Anna i över 10 år. Vi har haft många speciella tider och gjort speciella minnen och erbjuder dig möjlighet att njuta av vårt hus och göra speciella minnen också. Kom, njut av lugnet och roen och dela med din familj de fantastiska familjetider vi vet att du kommer att ha.

Denna helt nya fullt möblerade, 4 700 ft 2, 5 sovrum, 2 bäddsoffor, 3 badrum hem är tillgängliga året runt (planerar för totalt 7 sovrum 4 badrum 2021). Det ligger vid sjön Anna vid NW-fingret på sjön Anna's offentliga sida av sjön, nära väg 522. Bara några minuter från Tim's vid Lake Anna, Lake Anna Tap House, Lake Anna Winery och Cooling Pond Brewery. Dessutom är vi några minuter med vatten till sjön Anna Sandbar där du kan spela volleyboll och njuta av goda tider med familjen.

Hemmet har ett vackert rymligt vardagsrum, härdrum (med öppen spis) och stort öppet kök och matplats som alla tittar ut genom två skjutbara glasdörrar och ögonlocksfönster över det stora däck till vattnet och 1 000 kvadratmeter brygga nedan.

Ytterligare ett vardagsrum / lekrum är utrustat med skålen Nätverk TV / DVR med en 65 'FLATSKÄRM för det stora spelet med biljardbord, air hockey bord och ping pong bord för den familj konkurrens. Tre sovrum är belägna på bottenvåningen vilket gör det enkelt för barn eller äldre.

En stor uppfart ger många praktiska parkeringsplatser. Utgångskällaren har två separata badrum / kung- och drottningssängar och TV med Xbox / DVD. På övervåningen har ett sovrum med balkong och stort badrum, dusch och badkar, lekplats, TV / DVD / Xbox, queen size-säng och 2 enkelsängar.

Nyligen tillagd för 2020 - Ett helt nytt kök, två dubbla kylskåp (2: a kylen i källaren), ny diskmaskin, nytt dubbel enormt handfat, ytterligare bänkutrymme, nytt skafferihyllsystem, nytt sortiment och mikrovågsugn !!!! Redo att rocka och rulla till sommaren 2020 !!!

Detta rymliga hus har massor av däck och mycket ljus, med vackra mogna träd som ger mycket skugga och sol. Bakgården leder till en trevlig 14-fots strand, privat brygga och privat båt RAMP inom HOA.

På sommaren är hyror tillgängliga för hela veckors perioder endast under högsäsong (Memorial Day to Labor Day). Högsäsongsuthyrning är tillgänglig för minst 2 nätter.

Asterisk for the cleanliness and check-in ratings. The cleaning crew was unable to get the house in order due to an emergency, so the host had to fill in last-minute to clean. That made the check-in process a little unorthodox, with us doing some of the cleaning ourselves. However, the host was prompt in communicating the issues and also refunded us the cleaning fee without me asking, so it was overall a positive experience given the circumstances.Otherwise, the house was great!

Nice Relaxing Weekend

Did a 3 day weekend with some longtime friends. Some highlights:- The Kitchen was very well stocked and made it easy to prepare breakfast and dinner for all 15 of us daily.- Two Kayaks and a Canoe all in great shape made it fun to explore the lake.- Plenty of beds including multiple private bedrooms made things nice- Inside was clean and comfortable.- 5 minute drive from a local store for food, and a 15 minute drive from Food Lion so easy to restock.Some downsides:- water was shallow and very muddy at the bottom, so swimming near the dock wasn't great. (This isn't the owners fault so I'm staying at 5 stars)- Lots and lots of bugs. (Also not the owners fault)

Fantastic house

This house was perfect for our Lake Anna vacation. Very spacious and clean, close boat launch and huge private dock on quiet part of the lake. Downstairs walkout basement was great for our cornhole and foosball tournaments at night. Very responsive owner.

Great house for family gatherings

Large, modern, well-equipped house directly on lake with beautiful views. There was plenty of room for all of us (8 adults, 7 kids) and the teenagers loved the game room. The newly renovated upstairs was a particular highlight and a great place for late night board games. Our stay was in late December and the winter light on the lake was lovely and memorable. Would stay again for sure.

Exactly what I was looking for!

What a beautiful and very spacious home in a great location! It was very clean and modern, the kitchen was well stocked, and plenty of space for the whole family to sit for dinner. We enjoyed the large deck with a great view of the lake! The kids had a great time paddling around in the canoe and fishing off the dock. We couldn't have asked for anything more, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Home

Our family had so much fun!! We loved how spacious it was and the activity table was also nice. There are three separate living room areas so you can space out as needed. The finished upstairs is beautiful! We also used the kayaks and canoe one day. It’s close to the marina and grocery store. We would definitely consider renting again!

Great Lake Get-Away

Our extended family (12 of us in total) had a wonderful time together at the lake in the Farmer's home. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, plates, serving utensils, etc. Since this is a new home, all of the furniture and amenities are in excellent condition. Although it is a steep set of stairs down to the lake, it is a quiet spot and ideal of kayaking, boating, and jet-skiing. Mr. Farmer was very responsive to all communication.

Vacation from WV to Farmers Landing

The property was a great size for our group. We definitely liked the three levels that gave everyone their own space. Overall the property was in good condition. The kitchen was well stocked. If you are going to cook bring your own spices. There were a some available. The dock was a great size but needed some spraying of the weeds and small trees around the steps to the dock and in the back area of the dock . The lawn company said they would be back but we didn't see them. After they take care of the overgrown areas it will definitely be better. Please make sure you bag your garbage , prior renters left loose garbage in the can. We got the linen package. There were plenty of bath towels to use and sheets. There was plenty of toilet paper, tissues and hand soap to get you started, we did purchase some and left what we didn't use. Plenty of space to park . The outdoor space under the deck was great, plenty of tables and chairs. We enjoyed our time there. We definitely would rent again.

Perfection

All my husband wanted for his 50th birthday was to celebrate with close friends and family. Mark's home was the PERFECT gathering place! Extremely well-appointed kitchen (and charcoal grill) made feeding 15 easy! The kitchen has just about everything you could imagine. So many plates and glasses that there's no need to pack extra for your large group The open-concept allowed us all to be together but there was still plenty of elbow room. The basement level was large enough for the teens in our group to hang out and play on the foosball table and tri-game table. We spent hours paddling in Mark's kayak and canoe! Bring your own fishing poles as the fish were plentiful! Close to Tim's at Lake Anna, we were able to order to--go and spent an afternoon eating blue crabs and snow crab legs on the deck (that has TWO large outdoor tables) Evenings were sent around the fire pit (there are two of them but we only used the upper one) roasting s'mores. We loved Farmer's Landing and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thank you, Mark!

Definitely coming back!

Our extended family has been vacationing together off and on since 1998 at the beach and lake and we have stayed at many properties. This is by far one of our favorite homes for so many reasons. Waterfront access was important to us. We did not rent a boat but there is a slip to keep one if you do so. The house was very clean, we opted to have sheets and towels as part of our package to cut down on packing. Everything was clean and in good shape. It was THE BEST stocked kitchen by far! We weren't missing anything, and we cooked every day for 12 people. Our weather didn't cooperate, and we were in the house for 3 of our days but there is plenty of room to spread out, work puzzles, play games and enjoy the basement game tables. We had several questions throughout the week and the owner was very responsive to messages. If you are considering renting, go for it! One recommendation for the lake is to bring water shoes or waterproof sandals to wear in the water. Due to lack of rain, the water was a little shallow and, in some spots, close to the dock you could touch bottom. We also brought our own crockpots for meals so we could be at the lake and that was helpful! You will enjoy your stay!

We had three families sharing the house for a long weekend on the lake. It was a great size for our group of 11, with plenty of space for everyone. Mark (the owner) was especially responsive, providing clear check-in instructions and staying in touch throughout for any questions/issues.The house has great lake access on a quieter area of the lake with ample space for boat tie ups at the dock. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Such a great house with so much room!! It is also on a quiet part of Lake Anna so that the kids can enjoy swimming right off the dock as well as boating! Really nice neighborhood. We had a GREAT Family vacation. 6 adults, 3 children six and under and an infant. The kitchen is well equipped. There are fun games in the basement. There are kayaks, a canoe and a row boat as well. Will definitely go back!!!!

My friends and I and our families stayed and had a blast of a lake weekend together. The provided boats/kayaks made for some amazing lake time fun. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some yummy dinners. The host was responsive when we had WiFi issues and also answered questions I had before the trip. The only two downsides I would say is that the place could have been a bit cleaner (dusty corners and some cobwebs, found a sock under the pullout couch. And the second is that the pull out couches/futon that was advertised were not really great sleeping locations - not comfortable and the downstairs pullout in particular has a pretty stained mattress and is lopsided.But overall it was a fun weekend to be had by all!

Amazing Long Weekend

We had a great time here! The house looked even better in person and we loved the layout. Everyone could have their own space and we were able to have an area for kids to watch TV and play upstairs. Plenty of appliances to go around, anything you may need to cook. Loved the outdoor deck tables that could fit our large group. We canoed and kayaked as well as brought our own floats and spent a lot of time on the water. I would highly recommend the house to anyone interested.

Memorial Day Weekend 2025

Loved this property! Our group of 18 stayed comfortably at this beautiful lake house. We had great access to the lake and opportunities to use the provided kayaks and canoe. We had multiple meals outside on the deck and nights around the fire! Check in, check out and communication with the host were fantastic. Strongly recommend this property. Hoping to be back soon!

Thanksgiving Trip

We enjoyed our stay for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well stocked. We would return. Couple of small matters of critique: some electronics are outdated. There were satellite tv receivers, but no satellite tv (or at the very least, no instructions on how to use them). Many of the doors are "creaky" and some are hard to close and lock. Overall, a very nice house at a great location.

Reunion 2024

Farmers Landing on Lake Anna was a perfect setting for our reunion with family and friends. The accommodations were excellent and communication with owner, Mark, was seamless. The property manager, Kim, was very friendly. Definitely a 5 star stay and we hope to do it again in the future.

I grew up on the ocean (Wrightsville Beach, N.C.), lived on a sailboat in Charleston S.C. and both grandparents owned lake lots in VA and NC. Water is in my blood and Lake Anna is at the top of the scale.

Our family has been on or near the water our entire lives. As mentioned in the description "as a young boy both of my grandparents owned lake houses, one in North Carolina and one in Virginia. Some of the best times of my life were at the Lake with my family; fishing for catfish and bass, swimming, boating, cooking hot dogs and smores, eating watermelon, etc.

We’ve been going to Lake Anna for over 44 years and we’ve had this property at Lake Anna for over 15 year. We have had many special times and made special memories and offer you the opportunity to enjoy our house and make special memories as well. Please come, enjoy the peace and quiet, and share with your family the great family times we know you will have."

My wife's father farmed all his life and they owned part of what's now Lake Anna many years ago before the dam was built. This housing area is part of what used to be Bennett's Farm. Mrs. Bennett used to let us take kids to her property to teach them to ski since 1980 and after she passed away we bought part of her farm to continue her legacy of helping families enjoy God's beautiful creation of Lake Anna.
