European wedding guess

We live locally. Our son and his wife live overseas. They wanted a US wedding We had a large number of European guest and two children under a year old we needed to find accommodations for. This House exceeded everybody’s expectations.. They rented pontoon boat & having the dock was perfect. They used the beach area the pool, as well as water “ toy” it was September so were weeds around the end of the dock area, not that anyone had issue but worth a mention. Mother Nature has more control over this than the owner so not a game changer for our group. The Group enjoyed hours gathering on the deck and playing yard games. The house was as pictured and CLEAN. Owner communicate rapidly to emails All information was easily accessible. The attention to details was well thought out to make a vacation comfortable ! Several separate gathering areas inside and out. Even a diaper Genie! And two types of baby beds! We could have found a more perfect place for our guest. They all enjoyed there stay at the Maple Beach House & talk of returning. Thanks LuAnn for your hospitality!

Family Trip

If your looking for a place that will entertain children this is a great place! Swingset, tree swing, kayaks, fishing, large beach front sandbox includes toys and small pool. Firewood was included! Boat rental was close by! Wonderful place to stay. Only suggestion would be a couple more frying pans for breakfast 😊

Lake life reality

While the lake and home were not perfect; we had a great time. The reality was for the price we would have liked better conditions. The lake has grass growing and this year algae bloom so we could not use the dock area for children or adults. We did not like the feel of the seaweed like grass on our legs while swimming. The deck was our favorite place to hang out and multiple people received bug bites … not mosquitoes… tho use needs to be addressed as everyone was using Benadryl cream and hydrocortisone cream all week along with large amounts of OFF. As for the home the place is clean but we really wish some of the bedrooms had more room. In order to accommodate the full sized bed… it took up 90%of the floor space so there is no room for getting around the room… this also innthe king sized bedroom. The kitchen was small as well for 18 guests to cook for… luckily we were prepared to grill most meals and it only rained once while there

Beautiful Lakehouse where many family memories were made.

Let me just start by saying that our host Luann was amazing! She went over and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house was equipped with everything a large family stay would require. The lakeview was breathtaking and they have a dock. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and had a blast. This home brought us laughter, some friendly competition, healing of relationships and memories that we will forever hold in our hearts. There were tears when we had to say goodbye. Thank you Maple Beach House!

Perfect for our family!

Family voted unanimously to book here next year--that's how much we loved the house/property. The division of the homes' family areas & bedrooms worked so well for our group. Son/DIL, their 3 children (ages 5,2,4mo), & dog slept in one wing of the house which could be cordoned off--advantageous for little ones who go to bed early/rise early. This space also had secondary refrigerator which we used for beverages/freezer overflow. The other 6 family members (adults ages 23 thru 60) were in bedrooms in a different wing. Beds were very comfortable. This wing also had separate living area with large TV. We cooked almost every night in the well stocked kitchen. Property has large gas grill & fire pit. The outdoor area is very private, a huge plus! Property is close to Michigan Adventure & Lewis Farms, two places everyone enjoyed--young & old. But so much to do on the property itself--fishing off the dock, floating in inner tubes & kayaking on beautiful White Lake. The 2 & 5 yo spent HOURS in the sand & blow-up pool LuAnn had set up for them. Everyone loved the swing too. Sand hill cranes, herons, ducks, deer, & bald eagles were seen during our stay, too. Can't say enough positive comments about LuAnn. She was born to be the perfect VRBO host--communicative & thoughtful of our every need. Clearly invests in the property as many rooms had been updated/renovated during off season. These are all the main reasons why we're excited to come back next year!

Lovely family vacation spot

I don’t know how, but this property continues to get better year after year. The improvements to the interior, the added equipment, and the amazing host make this location an ideal place to take your family. Lots of space to spread out and things to do allow a large family to enjoy each other without getting on each others nerves. Book it while you can (but not when we want to go). lol. You will not regret it.

Great rental for laid back trip w kids

We stayed here with 5 adults, 2 children under 5 and our dog. Great house for us, tons of amenities, including a closet for dog supplies. LuAnn was very easy to communicate with and this was by far the beat VRBO experience weve had. 10/10 woukd recommend!

Comfortable getaway!

Our family of 9 adults came here to celebrate with our parents their 65th wedding anniversary. Michigan is our favorite place to go and this home on White Lake did not disappoint! The lake view, deck, and comfortable layout of the home was perfect. We enjoyed the deck, the kayaks, bonfires, and a pontoon rental. As many have said, Lu Ann is extremely attentive & responsive. We highly recommend Maple Beach house!

Excellent place for extended family!

The nine adults, two children, and two black lab sisters enjoyed a wonderful long Labor Day weekend. Perfect set-up in house, on deck, on lawn, on swings, on beach and in the water. I highly recommend this property.

Spacious with all the amenities

Our family of 9 adults and 1 dog thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beach house. There was plenty of space to spread out and the thoughtful touches and amenities are plentiful (even for our dog!) We all slept very well each night. We enjoyed taking turns cooking meals in the kitchen and eating together around the dining table. The deck, kayaks, dock, fire pit, view of the lake… all made for wonderful memories outdoors. LuAnn is incredibly responsive and kind — I truly enjoyed my interactions with her. We’d certainly recommend this home for other families!

Family Time

I hesitate to right a great review only because it was so wonderful we want to go back next year. While not a huge mansion this house is very well set up for families or even several couples. Great functional kitchen. Great big deck. We are outside all week. Nice sock and small Sand area. Water toys included. 12 of us we very comfortable. Lake Michigan is a short drive or boat ride.

Relaxing getaway

Our family was unfamiliar with Michigan when planning our trip. We chose maple beach house because of the location on the lake and kid friendly yard. It was beautiful, quiet and very relaxing. The kids had plenty to keep them busy including the tree swing, game room, dock/lake and large yard (yard games and toys provided). We used the fire pit every night. There were plenty of activities off the property as well, including, Lake Michigan beaches, sand dunes, dune rides, light house, eatery's, water park, etc. LuAnn was very responsive with answering questions and offering information. She made the planning of our family vacation simple and stress free. Her house was clean, very spacious and provided a lot of amenities. I highly recommend maple beach house for your stay!

Exceptional Vacation Home!

This home has been carefully decorated with tasteful furnishings that make it a very comfortable and welcoming place! It is especially suitable for families with their own grown children, and grandchildren. We had 9 people, with plenty of room, and space to spread out when we were inside. There were also comfortable gathering spaces, like the large dining table, and the family room and den. Bedrooms were nicely furnished. The towels and beach towels provided were of high quality, and plentiful. In our experience of 12 years of vacationing, we have not found another vacation home with as many things provided in the kitchen, bath, and laundry! The owner was exceptionally good at communicating with us, and she provided several recommendations that made our stay even more memorable! The sandy beach was large and heavily used by our children, along with a large, new rectangular pool (for splashing and playing in the water–rather than getting into the lake. The nearby beach on Lake Michigan was excellent for wading when the wind was low and the waves were safe. The deck and swing were certainly enjoyed, and there were treasures to be discovered on the lake (think bald eagles and swans, as well as interesting properties). It was especially nice that we had the option to rent a pontoon boat for a day. In our experience, this owner takes great care to provide an excellent vacation home for her guests. She regularly improves features, too, & worked to meet our needs!

Must rent!

My family fell in love with this property. The owner is amazing and you have everything you can need. Lots of space for my 17 family members. We got to spread out and have a mini section of the house. My kids/nieces/nephews were not bored with all the activities (kayak, fishing, beach, swimming, swinging, air hockey, foosball, pool, games, etc). This property is beautiful and you will not regret renting it for your families next getaway.

Great getaway

This was a great stay overall. Communication with owner was awesome! She answered any and all questions and went above and beyond communicating. There were 10 adults in our group and 9 children ranging from 3-16. Everyone found something to do and enjoyed the stay. Well stocked, clean and lots of extras!

Great time, great setting

Had a family birthday party with 14 total for a long weekend. Kids had a blast fishing off the dock and had the weather would have been better there are a ton of water toys to use. New Weber grill was great and overall everyone had a great time. Would love to go back.

Clean, Well Equipped, Memory Making Fun!

This property was very suitable for our family gathering. Within our family we had 5 small groups of 2 or 3 and each had their own space for sleeping. The living space was adequate even if the weather required inside only, but we had beautiful weather and spent most of our time outside on the huge deck, waterfront and play space for the kids, including the basement game area for all. LuAnn has made sure that the property is VERY well equipped with supplies and amenities well beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend this property for a large gathering and "memory making" fun!!

Great Place for Family Reunion

Our extended family had a terrific time. Plenty of space inside and outside for adults and kids. The two living rooms is a must for a large group like ours--a space for kids to watch their shows and the other for the adults. Plenty of dining space indoors and outdoors. Basement game room a hit with the teens and adults as well. Host was attentive and super responsive to questions.
