Great get away with a beautiful view

This property is awesome. Its clean, stocked and very close to everything. The view is breath taking, the river animals do not dissappoint. If we visit again, we will be staying here.

Amazing Stay!

This is the perfect place to stay that’s super close to the beach but gives you your privacy away from normal beach goers. The place was so clean and so inviting. Me and my husband fished off the dock every night and had a great time with all of the outdoor amenities provided. Will definitely stay here again!

Great get away for the girls. Easy access to Gulf Shores, shopping and restaurants. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful advice.

Great place

We were in Gulf Shores for a USSSA softball tournament. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We used the kayaks and the pool and went fishing on the dock. We were close to the fields, beach, shops, & restaurants. We highly recommend this cabin.

A peaceful retreat

This cabin is located in such a beautiful area! I enjoyed watching the few thunderstorms during my stay from the upper deck. The house was very clean and inviting. I would definitely rent this property again! Thank you for a great stay!

Peaceful Retreat

We have come to love this location. It's a quiet little set up not too far from the beach with a peaceful setting perfect for our small family. The owner is really easy to communicate with and has always been very responsive. If you like relaxing with a cup of coffee, a water view and the sounds of nature. This is a quiet place to enjoy some peace while visiting the area.

Beach vacation

Loved our little getaway. We had best of both worlds. We wanted to enjoy the beach and do a little fishing. We were able to fish anytime we wanted at the place we were staying and we were only mins from the beach. It was a lovely place to stay. We definitely plan to come back.

Weekend getaway

Came down for a concert at the wharf/weekend getaway. This cabin is conveniently located close to all the activities that you would like to do without being in the middle of the crowds. The kids loved the pool! Will definitely be back.

This was by far one of our favorite vacations and a big reason why was because of our stay with Mr.Mike! The cabin was exactly what we were looking for! Perfect getaway.

Perfect place for anyone that wants peace and quiet at night. Also, a short drive to town, for all the attractions Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have to offer. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything to make ourselves at home. Quick responses from the host, on check in and info about the area. Will definitely rent again when back in the area.

Very relaxing

We had a very relaxing stay. Very quiet neighborhood. We had a little issue with the air, my husband called the owner. There was someone there within 1 1/2 hours. We would definitely stay here again.

Calm and quiet getaway

We stayed in mid-July. While quite warm, the pool was a quick 2 minute walk from the property. Easy commute to the beach (I recommend the pier beach at the state park). The property was clean abd very welcoming. Fishing was great fun as well as just watching the wildlife. Definitely will return with our family!

Mother's Day Weekend Getaway

We had another wonderful weekend at this location. Our first time staying in this rental but it did not disappoint. If you like coming back to peacefulness at the end of the beach day crowds, this rental is quiet and peaceful and perfect for families. This was our third stay at this location and we look forward to many more in the future. Bon Secour River has my heart now.

Great way to experience Gulf Shores

Comfortable cabin on the Bon Secours River where we used the provided kayaks. Watched some dolphins going up and down the river. Short drive to beaches and Gulf State Park. Loved walking the pier and watching the sharks swimming around. Nice biking at the park too. Enjoyed LuLu’s in Golf Shores and Lambert’s in Foley. Plus made a trip to Billy’s market for fresh sea food.

Just What Our Family Needed

We loved taking the kayaks out onto the river and fishing from the cabin’s dock. Our family of five had just enough space to enjoy the weekend: My husband and I in the master bedroom, our teenager in the other, and our two younger kids on the pull-out sofa bed. Internet and Wi-Fi gave us no problems and it was very clean inside. Super cozy and exactly what our family needed.

This is one very pretty little river. We travel down to the gulf coast constantly. Most of our locations tend to be on the beach or bay so when we happended upon this great place on this terrific river we had to get it. It would be our fishing cabin and we would treat our guest as fellow fishing buds.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The beach is nice but the Bon Secour River is really what rest and relaxation is all about. Just having the boat steps away is worth it all. Within minutes you can be catching fish or just cruising the river. Even kayaking up river into the fresh water to catch a bass or get a look at a gator. And world class dining is only a couple of miles away over at Tin Top. And of course all that beach stuff is just down the road.
