This was a clean, comfortable, charming cottage on the Bon Secour River just 3.5 hours from New Orleans. We loved it!All the necessary amenities and more. We grilled downstairs in the covered patio area and watched College Football on the TV mounted in the outdoor patio area.The Galley Restaurant is literally less than a 1-minute walk away. Will definitely be back.

Way closer than you would think!!

The house was very clean and up to date. The location was perfect for us and we spent a lot of time in orange beach. I will be renting this place next time we come for sure!!

Good Times

The place was awesome! Clean, everything you need was there. Perfect location as it's close to shops and beaches. Enjoyed the week we stayed. The under house furniture and TV were a big hit. We would recommend this place to our family and friends. Owner was very helpful answering my questions. Beautiful place to stay and relax! The pool was a bonus too!

We really enjoyed our stay. We prefer to stay away from the hustle and traffic of Gulf Shores, so staying on the Bon Secour River was just what we wanted. The property was very clean, comfortable, and quite enjoyable. Sitting on the deck was a very pleasant way to sip tea and enjoy each morning. Billy’s Seafood was a favorite stop as we do not get to enjoy fresh grouper and shrimp in Michigan. Amber was very helpful and most pleasant to work with if I had any questions. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed. One minor issue would be to provide more kitchen garbage bags. As I said minor, as we bought some, which of course, we will use at home.Thank you for the use of your apartment!

We love Amber’s home. We came a few weeks ago over Labor Day weekend and came back again for a week. We loved the restaurant next door and ate there three times. All the kitchen needs are here and well stocked.Shampoo, conditioner and body wash available in the shower. The most comfortable beds.It felt like “home” the whole time. The community is small and quiet. Amber is a fantastic host and I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful get away.

We are from Minnesota and love to visit the South for the beaches, people and the sun. After looking for quite some time, we found our peaceful "home away from home" on the Bon Secour river, where the sun shines all year long, and we have space to just relax the day away peacefully but we're close to just about anything we may be up for that day — whether we want to go to the beach, trails for hiking or biking or visit local establishments. We want others to enjoy that same feeling of tranquility.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We love the peacefulness and abundance of wildlife - from ducks to dolphins that we see in and around the home. It's secluded and in its own little world, yet close to the beaches, shopping, amusement park, state park... you name it, we're near it. As a very spontaneous person, it's nice to have so many options without a long drive requiring planning. An added bonus is that the people that own and rent in the condos are some of the best and most welcoming people!
