Haven for recovery

My wife had spine surgery in Dallas and we chose this property because of the zero entry shower. The home was so comfortable and relaxing for her recovery. Really centrally located. Owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had during our stay. There is some plane take off noise overhead, but if the TV is on or you use a white noise app, you cannot hear it.

Clean and convenient

Nicks place has been remodeled immaculately. The house was perfect for me and my college age daughter. The outdoor areas are great for workouts, hangouts and the dogs! It’s a great neighborhood, with lots of options for walks and/or runs. Wholefoods and Meritt coffee are within walking distance.

Loved it!

My husband and I stayed a week while seeing a doctor in Dallas. Close to hospitals, walkable to Whole Food, a great neighborhood to walk you dog! The house it self was cute-perfect for 2 and cozy for 4. We love it and we’re sad to leave, but we may be back!

Girls weekend

We had a fantastic stay at Nick's. The house is modern and well appointed. The beds were super comfortable. We had breakfast every morning at Whole Foods which is a block away. We all appreciated the coffee assortment in the house. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Everything about this property was perfect! Decor, comfort, amenities and location was impressive and a lot of thought went into it. Loved the coffee and breakfast items available for us to enjoy in the morning. This little gem will not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

We spent four great days in the house and enjoyed the Texas hospitality...Nick was really friendly and very pleasant. The house is absolutely clean and well maintained. You can look forward - among many other amenities - to a well-equipped kitchen and high-quality electrical appliances. The parking lot directly on the property and the private outdoor area are really great! If you are looking for a perfectly equipped domicile in a safe neighborhood, then you have come to the right place. We can recommend this accommodation and will be happy to come back. Vielen Dank und Auf Wiedersehen! ---------------- Wir verbrachten vier tolle Tage im Haus und genossen die texanische Gastfreundschaft... Nick war wirklich freundlich und sehr angenehm. Great neighborhood, very convenient

My friend and I met in Dallas for a few days of business meetings at UTSW and to reconnect with colleagues. This nicely updated house was a great choice for us, as we were minutes away from most meetings and within walking distance of restaurants. We took some nice long walks around the tree-lined neighborhood, too. Nick, our host, was responsive and helpful. I hope to stay here again!

Perfect location and an amazing house

Loved staying at this rental for a weekend in Dallas. Had a wedding at SMU campus so the location couldn’t have been more ideal. Layout of the house was perfect for two couples. Very comfortable beds. Neighborhood was quiet and felt safe walking to Whole Foods and to a park nearby. Host Nick was easy to work with and provided all the needed information for a perfect stay. Will definitely book again when back in the Dallas area and will recommend to anyone else.

Enjoyed our stay

My husband, son and myself enjoyed our stay in this home. We stayed for 4 nights. Easy access into home (arrived late in the evening and was a little worried), but able to enter house easily. House was easy to find and very quiet, did not hear neighbors. Beds were very comfortable. House was very clean and modern. TV’s worked great, nice large tv’s in living room and Master bedroom. 2nd bedroom had a nice tv as well. Couch was very comfortable to relax and watch tv. Keurig coffee pot which we really like. We did not cook any meals, but it looked like there was everything you would need to do so. Also the Dropbox videos Nick provided on how to work alarm, air etc was very useful. My husband likes to use alarm, although we felt totally safe. Secure off street parking was great. Weather was sunny, but too chilly to sit outside. The patio table and chairs in pictures wasn’t on patio, just 4 foldable in a bag chairs. Would have been disappointed if weather was nice enough to sit out, not to have table and chairs. Enough bath towels for 4, but no wash clothes. I had brought a set of bathroom towels for son we were visiting so we used those wash clothes, so it worked out fine. Kroger was half a mile away and open until 1am, very convenient. Went to breakfast each morning at Eggsellent, just a few blocks away on Lemmon Ave. Sit in Chris area, he is a great waiter. Will definitely stay again when in Dallas. Much more relaxing then hotel room.

Beautiful home.

Home Away from Home

This home was definitely a “home away” from home. It exceeded any expectation and gave peace of mind during a business trip. It was well worth staying here versus an overpriced, impersonal hotel. My husband had a weekend-long work conference and it was to say the least, hectic and stressful. Coming home to Nick’s place was what we looked forward to the most. Once we experienced the bed and the shower (master), we didn’t want to leave either. The home was perfectly styled as modern meets minimalist. We’re not city dwellers by any means, but we didn’t feel like we were in a city here. Tucked away in a quiet, dog-friendly, neighborhood away from high-traffic streets. We also felt like our privacy wasn’t in any way comprised. I loved the ability to use the natural light of the day; the artificial light wasn’t overwhelming. There were many dining options nearby. Chipotle is always my husband’s go-to. The Halal Guys is definitely worth a visit if you enjoy eating meat, consciously. Amico’s Exotic Pizza had great delivery time, easy online ordering, open late and great food. I was pleased to have the drop box videos made available to guide us. If I had to name one thing we were dissatisfied with, it was the absence of being able to use the recycle can outside. I didn’t bother asking if it was an option beyond my findings. Not a deal breaker, only a slight inconvenience. Bottom line, we would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Dallas.

Great space, helpful owner and perfect location

Nick was very helpful for my wife and I to find restaurants and other places in the area. The unit has been thoughtfully renovated and had everything we needed and the location for us was ideal. Also there’s a whole food market a block away which turned out to be very convenient for us. Plan to stay here again in our next trip.

Excellent nice quiet neighborhood.

Super clean, great location with secure off street parking. Communication with owner was excellent. When we texted the owner, he always responded almost immediately. Will definitely stay again.
