Trip to Daytona 24

Great long weekend getaway!

The house was wonderful- everything described and more. The pool/outside area is HUGE....like the whole back yard huge! So spacious, and beautiful. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!

Blissful Swamp

This is an excellent property for those that are looking for an escape in the northern Orlando area. Still close enough to get to the Orlando attractions (about 45 min away) but also feel like you are getting a much more locals view of the area. Don't miss going to Black Bear Wilderness Loop Trail and the Wetlands were both amazing ways to connect with the bountiful nature in the area. House is comfortable and quiet and exactly as advertised.

Fun, relaxing family vacation

Great property for family stay. Clean with plenty of space to be with your family and enjoy each other's company. Pool was great and loved seeing all the wildlife outside.

Great Property - Ample Space

Really great property for 5-6 guys in town for a baseball tournament at Boombah Sports Complex in Sanford FL. A little secluded, but I would highly recommend the property for a group or family rental!

Wonderful experience

Really enjoyed our stay here. Traveled with a group of friends and trailered our motorcycles here. Nice quiet neighborhood within driving distance to the beach and Orlando.

Great family getaway!

Fun place with tons of privacy. Great lake house in rural Stone Island. Clean comfortable modern furnishings. Updated home with all the amenities. The pool was perfect and the kids had a blast! Thanks for an awesome place to stay.

Clean, modern, comfortable and tranquil

The house was beautiful, we had a group of 8 adults and there was plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of space for the group to eat or lounge by the pool. The Bonus we even saw a gator basking in the sun :) Thank you for a wonderful stay, owners were very accommodating. We will definitely return.

Family trip

This house is a absolute gem! 12 of us traveled together ages 63 to 3 years old. The house was perfect for everyone. We saw wildlife, my 15 year old loved fishing off the dock. The pool area was so spacious and perfect for our large group. When we come back to see the Florida family again we will definitely book here again.

Wonderful place, however

Could use a couple updates to the table outside and dining room chairs need the bolts tightened. These are minor things. Overall it is a wonderful, secluded property.

Great house

We had a family get together with 10 people. The house was big enough for everyone. The pool was great for the hot Florida days in May. Great outdoor seating. Close to shopping, lake Monroe and not too bad of a drive into Daytona. Cute baby alligators in the inlet behind the house

Very Responsive Host

The Lake House was on a canal in a good location. It was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the privacy. The owner was quick to respond to questions and requests. We spent three weeks here and enjoyed our stay. It is at least 20 minutes from most places we wanted to visit but was centrally located to visit Orlando and New Smyrna and Daytona.

Lovely home base for our family get together!

From the moment we arrived, this home away from home did not disappoint. Spacious, clean, indoor & outdoor living for our family of six adults, one teen and a youngster. The giant lanai and enclosed back porch are amazing. We enjoyed cooking in and eating out at nearby restaurants. Shopping and entertainment are not far away. The host is responsive and accommodating. Thoughtful details made us feel truly welcomed. Excellent property for a family retreat!

Great place to stay in Sanford FL

Great house to stay for a baseball tournament at Boombah sports complex. House was very clean and comfortable for four adults and four kids. Not a far drive from the sports complex or downtown Sanford. The area was pretty heavily impacted by the recent hurricane. Although you could still see the destruction in the neighborhood with some homes, this property was back to normal, clean and maintained. Pool was too cold to swim since the temperature was in the 60s for our stay there but the boys really enjoyed the Pac-Man arcade game when we were not at the fields. Take plenty of bottled water to drink…I’m not sure of the water situation in Sanford, but it smelled and tasted weird not only at the house but the entire city. Would definitely stay here again!
