The home was very spacious and had everything you would need to be comfortable and entertained. It was a perfect home to return to after our adventures. The appliances were new and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed. We had a great visit and will return.

We really enjoyed our stay, particularly all the fun games and activities and the hot tub was great, too! Our bed, pillow and bedding was clean and comfy. The property is a little dated, but there is a lot of space and plenty of room for large families or groups at a reasonable price. It was easy enough getting to USAFA to visit our son, and a lot of amenities are nearby. Great communication by the hosts and we were welcomed with coffee and chips and salsa. We will likely book again in the future and recommend this property to others.

This was a perfect place for my family, friends and most importantly my dogs! We had so much fun playing the games both inside and outside of the property. The hot tub was the icing on the cake after a long hike with the dogs. The host was awesome and very responsive. Great neighbor for walking your dog and the views are beautiful.

A Place for Family Memories

We booked this home for its proximity to the Air Force Academy, and found to be a great place for family memories. The patio, large kitchen and enormous dining room table were perfect for making and enjoying meals together. The hot tub and games added to the fun. The host was very attentive and helpful.

Lake Tahoe vibe!

Home owner was super responsive, house is in a great, quiet neighborhood. Has the feel of Lake Tahoe / Truckee but you are in the middle of town. Would book again in an instant!

A lovely home, cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in, and the best stocked for a group of 10. The design of the home was great for 3 families, good flow from living, dining room and kitchen. The teens loved having the lower level to themselves with access to the hot tub, a wet bar like area for snacks, and noise didn't travel upstairs. Three roomy bedrooms on the main level was ideal for the 6 adults. We loved the quiet residential area that is dog friendly. There is a dog and young kid park 2 blocks away. Any place you might need to go was close by and convenient. We all highly recommend this location, and will definitely stay here again when we return to the area again. Thanks for a wonderful family vacation!

Family Get Together

Once a year my family likes to all meet up to visit with each other. There are 14 of us so finding accommodations that are large enough has been a challenge. This space was perfect for everyone, very clean and well put together. There is enough room that when you need a break from family time you can find another quite space to go to and relax. The dining room was great, the table fit everyone perfectly. After meals it was great for cards. The hot tub was very clean and on a quieter side of the house so it was nice to go in and enjoy some downtime. The neighborhood is adorable, we loved enjoying the beautiful fall colors during our stay. We would 100% stay here again.

Teenagers Birthday

We drove from Leonard TX to celebrate a couple of teenagers birthdays.. The home was very well put together just couldnt get the coffee maker to work lol so if you love coffee like i do. JUST a heads up... Overall loved the hot tub, firepit, and balcony.. We were a family of 8 downstairs was perfect for my kids and i upstairs was perfect for my sister, her husband, mom and son..

Very nice

Our stay was during an extremely hot week. Only the main living room had air conditioning, the other three bedrooms had cooling units, which were more like fans. Only the master had a ceiling fan. There were 15 people - 8 adults and 7 children. I’m not sure why the listing said the house sleeps 20. Even with 2 in each of the bunk beds, we could only count 18. All in all, we had a great time. Loved the large dining table.

Thank you for your review. It was a really hot week for COS. We have an air conditioner and three swamp coolers which help keeps the house cool but with record heat it probably was not as cool as you would have liked. The home has 9 beds and two futons.... with a living room and two family room. We’ve been told it fits large families perfectly. Thank you for staying in our home.

Lots of space & comfortable home in quiet neighborhood.

My husband & I stayed in this home with our dog, Murphy, for almost a week. We didn’t need all the space, but it was a great base location to explore the Colorado Springs area. The home is comfortably decorated and the kitchen has the basics to be able to cook & serve most meals. Tanya was quick to respond when we had a question, and gave easy to understand instructions for beginning & ending our stay. If you stay in the snow months, the driveway is steep so watch your step! The yard is mostly hardscape, & planted areas, so if your dog is approved, walks in the hilly neighborhood will be necessary. Bear Creek Dog Park is not too far by car & worth the drive. We would definitely recommend this property for a large family, but worked well for just the two of us! Thank you, Tanya!

Woodman Valley Wooded Oasis Home

The house was large & nice furnishings...really comfortable beds upstairs, but the full size bunk bed mattresses were not that comfortable. We were surprised with a welcome basket of goodies accompanying the house rules notebook. The kitchen had plenty of flatware & plates & salad bowls, however, It lacked some of the cooking utinsils we needed...a can opener that worked, butcher-block type sharp knives, colander, etc. We only used the hot tub the first night we were there because it sprayed a lot of water out of the tub & onto the floor if you leaned back against the back of the tub. Actually, even just having the jets on & no people in the tub it was squirting water onto the floor due the very forceful jets in the tub. The floor of the room was covered in water. We sopped it up with towels, but it even leaked under the sliding glass door & onto the carpet in the next room. I spoke with Tanya, the property manager, about these issues & she was very pleasant to deal with. I LOVED the large table in the dining room...we had 7 adults & 2 children & there was plenty of seating space for us all. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds (but those mattresses were not very comfortable) in the basement & the old fashioned video arcade-type game in the room. A few negatives to the place was that the trash can & trash bags were stored in the garage, & it smelled really, really bad in the garage (we opened a window in there to help some, but it really stunk) . All the trash from the previous tenants was overflowing around the trash can, as trash pickup was on Mondays or Tuesdays...we checked in on Saturday & out on Monday. There is not much room in the back yard, it was pretty small, & I don't think there was any grass,, but they did have a nice firepit back there. We did enjoy being able to spend our mornings & evenings together in the house, which was plenty large enough, nice bedrooms & bathrooms.

We always strive for giving 5 star service, which I think we did. Becky had lots of requests throughout her stay and I tried to help in anyway I could, including coming to pick up the trash early, even though the house has trash service and allowing her to drop her dogs off earlier than check in. We do by the way have a colander and high end chef knives at the house and I have added another can opener in case new guests have difficulty with the other one. The full size bunk beds downstairs do come with new and comfortable mattresses, I have received different reviews on the same mattresses, but I know that everyone has different tastes. The hot tub has jets that push out water, like all hot tubs. We check water levels every time a guest leaves and service the hot tub at least twice a week. Guests do have the ability to turn off certain jets if they wish. This is my 2nd 4 star, all other reviews have been 5 stars....and we plan on giving all future guests the same responsive service.

This home was truely an oasis. We all fit very comfortably, 7 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs. Tanya was very communicative and the house was very clean and felt like a home away from home. We very much enjoyed our time!

This property was amazing and exactly what my family was needing. Big enough that we were not on top of each other and having the ability to be together. The host had great communication, and was very through on the property and access. The house was very clean the kitchen was big and spacious with everything you need to cook in the house. The hot tub was a definite reason to rent the property. The house has everything that the host described, in the future I will definitely be reaching out to them.

We came up with a group of teenage boys and they loved it! There were so many fun games and things to do around the house and in the backyard. The space was amazing and all of the rooms were very clean. The house was just all around perfect and great for a stay!

Castlewood home

Beautiful, spacious home that suited all our needs. Loved the location, nice quiet neighborhood, with park nearby to do nightly walks with the dogs. Tanya is an excellent host, responded right away with questions we had. The mule deer wandering around were a surprise and bonus!! Miss the place already!! Will definitely be back!😎

Great HUGE cabin- like stay

Our stay was so nice! The place is huge and the hot tub is a really nice touch. The back yard is fenced for dogs to run freely. The neighborhood is really wooded with lots of deer just hanging out everywhere. I would definitely stay again!
