Wonderful Siesta Condo!

We loved this condo. Very clean, modern and comfortable. The kitchen is really well equipped with all essentials and bonus of Tupperwares, ziplocks and staple spices, which is rare in rentals. We also loved how spacious and beautiful the space was. 2 full baths was amazing for my 2 kids. As was having a full washer/dryer (with soap provided!) and dishwasher. Everything was super handy and Steve was super attentive and responsive.There was a handy stroller for beach chairs and coolers as well. And even a pickle ball set!!! We had a blast!I thought the pool was right next to the property based on the photos, but you have to walk across a couple buildings to get to it and it’s shared with the entire complex (there were usually 2-4 people there). Nonetheless, it’s a lovely and heated pool and the drive to Siesta is just 15 min away. We enjoyed both!!We will definitely be back!

Perfect Gem!

Having come down to the same place 4 yrs now, there so much to say. This place became our home away from home!Description online is exactly as it states with some upgrades throughout our stays. Totally remodeled with an awesome decor! Full size kitchen with open concept made it so easy to have our grandchildren and families well entertained. And mattresses, furniture all very comfortable! Enough sleeping quarters for 4 adults plus a queen size leather sofa bed. Master bedroom quite large with shower fall and large walk-in closet.Our children and grandchildren came down during their winter and spring breaks. And loved relaxing at the heated outdoor pool!All you could ask for with supplies, beach towels, beach chairs ,umbrellas, coolers, linens, kitchenware, appliances just as if it were your own home. The area is a perfect spot, just 5 mins to Siesta Beach! With many more beaches to explore within 15 mins of the condo. All the grocery stores, shops, restaurants, pizza places, seafood places etc. Steve is an incredible host! Answers questions promptly, comes by with your permission 1st if anything needs changing, like AC filter or delivery of a new washer. Check in is so easy and we’ve always arrived to a very warm and welcoming place. We have commitment's for the following year, But know that whomever books this condo will be very pleased!Thanks to our hosts Steve and Susan for making our last 4 winters here, awesome and totally memorable!

Amazing hospitality and friendly neighbors!

Steve was outstanding. We had everything we needed for our stay and more. Steve allowed us to borrow his bikes for which we were so vey grateful. We had been plenty of towels, and high quality beach chairs, umbrella and a wagon. The pans provided were extremely high quality- thank you! The pool was large(6'6" at deep end! And was heated so we could enjoy it daily. The neighbors are friendly- some permanent residents and some renting- we really enjoyed our time here. We usually stay close to downtown Sarasota but decided to try Gulf Gate this time. There are many fantastic restaurants in the area and 10-15 min to Siesta Key beach. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

Wonderful condo with an amazing host!

My husband, cousin and I had to make an unexpected trip to Sarasota. We were unable to arrive during the check in time, but no worries! Our host Steve was super accommodating and it was no trouble for us to arrive late. Upon our arrival we found everything we would possibly need. The extra kitchen supplies (coffee, sugar, oil, spices, etc.) were helpful for a week stay at the condo. There were also paper products, soap for laundry/dishwashers/hands, and plenty of cleaning supplies. Sadly, we did not have time to use the beautiful pool or go to the beach, but there were plenty of towels and supplies if we did go. Steve reached out several times to ensure we had everything we needed. I checked in periodically and Steve was always very responsive. Steve was sensitive to our unique needs due to a family emergency. He ensured we had his support and continued to be extremely flexible with our additional needs during our stay. I highly recommend staying at this condo!! Plenty of space, which is ideal for two couples or a family. A desk in one bedroom which was nice for some work time away from the rest of the group. The washer/dryer was helpful, and worked great. The beds were extremely comfortable and sheets/towels were good quality. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores nearby. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for your kindness, Steve!!

This Place is a Charm!

This is our 3rd yr spending 2 months in this awesome condo! Place is totally renovated making it very comfortable for either two or family with grandkids. Decorated tastefully with many accents to make it feel like “ home away from home”. Place is fully stocked with towels, linens, extra pillows, beach towels, even coolers and beach chairs with umbrellas. Kitchen is also stocked with all the appliances you would normally have back at home. This place is central to all. Shopping centers, grocery stores. Many choices for restaurants whether it’s just having a pizza or a night out with friends! Of course can’t forget about how close you are to Siesta Beach! And all the other beaches along the way to Venice! Let’s not forget downtown Sarasota with all it has to offer! The heated pool at condo is definitely the place to be for a relaxing day! And the best part is having great hosts like Steven & Susan who go all out to ensure your stay is the best ever! Any questions Steven is always readily available. Looking forward to next year!

I’d rent this condo again

This condo worked great for us. The location was perfect and the condo had everything we needed. It was so well stocked. The owner was very responsive and willing to help with anything. There was one glitch at check-in, but the owner made up for it and apologized. It may have even been VRBO’s fault. Anyway, I would gladly rent this place again.

We had a great time in Sarasota/Siesta Key. This condo is 5/5, close to everything and located in a quiet neighborhood. Everything advertised on the listing is accurate which made our stay wonderful. The condo is very clean and roomy. Steve is really nice and we had no communication issues with him while staying at his condo.

Nice place to enjoy Sarasota without the tourist chaos

We had a nice stay with our daughter, husband and two pre-school grandkids; we were able to enjoy the pool with the kids, local eateries were great, and a we found a nice boat rental option which was the highlight of the week. The condo itself was nicely appointed for our small group and the option to enjoy the lanai for coffee in the AM and wine in the PM was truly the relaxing location we were hoping to have!

Beautiful with Great Updates, Wonderful Screen Porch, and Great Hosts!

The stay was wonderful! The space is tastefully decorated and has beautiful granite countertops, new appliances, and a cozy breakfast nook. The beds were very comfortable. Both bathrooms have nicely tiled showers, and I really enjoyed the rain-style showerhead in the tile master shower. Also, the screen porch was a favorite in the morning to read and evening for sunset. Steve and Susan are great hosts. We even had a very nice box of Belgian cookies as a welcome surprise. I highly recommend this gem!

Comfortable place to take in Sarasota and surrounding areas

We were two couples staying to celebrate a 30 year wedding anniversary. The condo was clean and efficient. The location was convenient to downtown Sarasota, taking a drive up the keys to Anna Maria, renting a boat for the day, of course a day on the beach at Siesta Key, and even for a day trip south to see the Everglades. Plenty of casual restaurants and bars in close proximity and we enjoyed a couple of pretty nice ones as well.

Return Renters!

This is our second year here being hosted by Steve & Susan! They make this place so welcoming and comfortable you almost forget this is a vacation home! Our host welcomed us with treats plus coffee and cream! Even had the same mailman who left us a “welcome back” note in mailbox! There’s so much to say about the property. Ground floor unit. Assigned parking space and lots of guest spots. Totally renovated condo! Lots of nice touches- leave it to Susan for the awesome coastal feel! New window treatments this year! Even had reading and game material. Plenty of linens, towels, comfy pillows, tons of toilet paper and paper towel, dish soaps, cleaning products, detergent and more. Really nice new leather queen sofa bed which was also very comfortable for our teenage granddaughter. Comfortable sleeping arrangements in both bedrooms. Well stocked pantry, fridge etc. Kitchen fully equipped with all the cutlery, plates, pots and pans , casseroles, appliances, etc. Plus enough beach chairs, boogie boards and beach umbrellas. The pool is well taken care of and was great for non-beach days. Nice cabana to dine in also. New lounge chairs were provided this year. Within minutes of Siesta beach, and very close to many others. Close to many restaurants, steakhouses, pizzerias , breakfast places and coffee shops. The lanai was also a welcome respite for my husband and our granddaughter spent lots of down time there too! Our host was always available to ensure we had everything. Thanks again for having us! We can’t wait to return next year!

Visiting family for the holidays

We loved this condo, perfect for our family of 4, room enough to have family for dinner and our Christmas tree. Pool was nice, and the hosts were very kind and responsive. Condo was well stocked and I love that there were hooks for our towels, hoodies, jackets and hats! Easy drive to Siesta Key or Venice Beaches! Would definitely recommend!

Very clean , cozy and lots of necessities

First of all we were nicely impressed with the drinks, coffee and cream especially purchased for us !!! The apartment has lots of towels, beach chairs, umbrella Bed linen is good quality and clean. Also I liked that there was a bar soap made in Sarasota in the bathroom. All we needed from dish soap to garbage bags. Thank you Steve !!!

This property was great! The condo had everything you need and the location was perfect. Although not on the beach, many places were easily accessible by car in a matter of minutes. The landlord was there when needed, which was helpful. Include this spot in your vacation plans, I know we will again!

HOME AWAY FROM HOME!

First time snow-birders and loving it! One word to describe condo unit: “AWESOME!” There’s so much to say about condo unit not sure where to begin. Location is central to ALL! Minutes to Siesta Key & Sarasota Bay. Very close to Bradenton and or Venice and all their amazing beaches. Place is totally renovated with large spaces/ rooms. Master bath and dressing room/walk-in closet amazing. Waterfall and handheld showers. Guest bathroom perfect and very accommodating. Linen closet filled with extra beach towels, new cooler, extra toilet paper/paper towel. All soaps, detergents well stocked. Owners thought about anything and everything you could possibly need/want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It was, as my title states, truly home away from home! The open space concept is what hits you first upon entry. The decor and all the accents were perfect and had a very New England Coastal feel. Not only did we like the attention to detail but the furniture and beds were all comfortable. No complaints whatsoever! The owners thought of everything: more than enough fluffy soft towels, linens for all the beds, extra blankets, comfy pillows throughout bedrooms and living room, very comfortable recliner (which made my husband quite happy). Even had great selection of books and games for entertainment. Lovely new leather sofa bed. Kitchen well stocked with enough dinnerware, silverware, glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs, all appliances you could ever need even down to a mixer for baking and 2 different blenders. Enough bakeware, casseroles, Pyrex etc. ok- so maybe I’m getting into too much detail and could go on and on. Did I mention how pleasurable it was meeting owner. He was so prompt/responsive to any questions. Lanai door wasn’t gliding properly immediately next day Steve came and had repair guy fix. And made sure we had all we needed and even said he could provide other items for grandkids who were coming down for their winter break. Owner was never Intrusive and would always ask if ok to come by ( for instance - change the AC filter or drop off extra chairs for dining). Available within minutes of a text. Lanai was really nice and even supplied us with beach chairs /umbrella and boogie boards. Pool was a very short walk from condo and nice to relax in on non beach days. Very well kept. We couldn’t have asked for more! Made our long term stay an extremely awesome experience! Thanks to Steve and Susan for having us!

Lovely long term stay

The property was very nice. There were lots of fluffy towels, nice beds, beautiful bathrooms, and a nice kitchen that was well stocked. It was easy to work with the host and he was very responsive and friendly. The location is great - 15 minutes to Siesta Key beach, 7 minutes to Costco and Target and many other shopping options. We could walk to the library which was delightful. The condo property was well kept and the pool was heated and provided a great way to cool off in the summer heat. Some of the neighbors were not thrilled that we had children with us (ages 7 and 10), and others were friendly and warm. Overall it was a really nice experience and we would definitely recommend a stay here.

Quiet Sarasota Condo

My wife picked this place out of a slew of possibilities and I’m glad she did. The place was gorgeous and in a quiet neighborhood When I wasn’t exploring the nearby attractions and restaurants I was chilling in the pool. Good times!

We are family owned and operated. My daughter, Allison, has been taking a larger role in scheduling and preparing our properties. I as a retired Dad in the family oversee the maintenance, repair, and remodeling. As a family we have been hosted in vacation rentals throughout the country and abroad. We strive to use these experiences to provide our renters the best we possibly can.

This property was acquired for family use during visits here in Sarasota. It was only rented for part of the year to repeat renters over the past decade. We decided to do some renovations and make it available through this network. The location is superb and we think it is reasonably priced for his area. Gulf Gate is a popular area and the village here hosts a growing variety of restaurants and shops.

We take special care to go above and beyond for all our guests at this property. We have enjoyed Premier Host status for years. Please see our customer feedback. Gulf Gate Library is steps away. Gulf Gate Village is walking or biking distance. Mall and movie theatres are close by. There are a host of cultural activities in Sarasota that are easily accessible. Biking the Legacy trail is easy from this condo. Nearby Beaches are superb.
