På en kulle i Baillargent Pointe Noire Guadeloupe, i hjärtat av Côte-under-vind, kapell stugor erbjuder en välkomnande, tyst, grön och blommig, där mantel Green Mountain rivaliserade blå turkos av Karibiska havet när du upptäcker varje morgon när du vaknar.

Beautiful!

The house is modern, clean, well kept and very comfortable. The views from the terrace are incredible! We really appreciate the effort the French speaking host made to bring her English speaking sister with her during check in and check out so that we could communicate effectively. Both were very pleasant and kind. Note that the driveway to the house is extremely steep and narrow but we managed getting up and down it ok with Some guidance from the host.

Beautiful house with an incredible view of the sea...Très belle maison avec une vue incroyable

EN - Beautiful house with an incredible view of the sea, of the Montserrat Island and of the mountains. We were five people and spent 15 days there. Very comfortable place located at the top of a steep driveway. Kitchen is well equipped and spacious. We had a great time: we loved waking up to the sound of the roosters and looking at the sea while drinking our morning coffee. We had our meals on the large terrace. The first floor was rented to a family but we barely noticed or heard them. Sharing the pool was not an issue. Very well located in the Guadeloupe National Park, we were close to the most beautiful beaches (Leroux, Grande Anse, Malendure…). The "must do" activities are: the Botanical Garden, hiking up the Soufriere and finishing with a swim in the hot springs Bains Jaunes (Check the weather before going! We did not and ended up very wet!), the Vanilleraie Fety, the trip in canoe around the mangrove with TI evasion, the walk to the 3rd chute of Carbet waterfall and the Night market at the Gosier. The owners Laurencia and Désir were very helpful and very nice. FR - Très belle maison avec une vue incroyable sur la mer, l'île de Montserrat et les montagnes. Nous étions cinq personnes et y avons passé 15 jours. Endroit très confortable situé au sommet d'une allée escarpée. La cuisine est bien équipée et spacieuse. Nous avons passé un très bon moment: nous avons adoré nous réveiller au son des coqs et regarder la mer en buvant notre café du matin. Nous avons pris tous nos repas sur la grande terrasse. Le rez-de-chaussée était loué à une famille mais nous les avons à peine remarqués ou entendus. L’utilisation commune de la piscine n'était pas un problème. Très bien situés dans le Parc National de la Guadeloupe, nous étions à proximité des plus belles plages (Leroux, Grande Anse, Malendure…). Les activités incontournables sont: le Jardin Botanique, la randonnée au sommet de la Soufrière se terminant par une baignade dans les sources chaudes Bains Jaunes (Vérifiez la météo avant de partir! Nous ne l'avons pas fait et avons fini très mouillés!), La Vanillerie Fety, le tour en canoë de la mangrove avec TI évasion, la promenade vers la 3ème chute de la cascade du Carbet et le marché de nuit au Gosier. Les propriétaires Laurencia et Désir étaient très serviables et très gentils.

Bonnes vacances en Basse Terre

accueil très sympa des propriétaires, très disponibles, maison moderne, fonctionnelle, très propre , très bien équipée (pas de grille-pain car nous avons appris que c'était la maison des cafards sous les tropiques donc sans c'est mieux !!), quelques couverts de plus seraient pratique. belle vue sur la mer même si la ligne téléphonique la barre un peu depuis la terrasse. Sur Basse-Terre beaucoup de location sont proches de la route nationale N2, cette maison la surplombe (car on y accède par une rampe d'accès très pentue) ce qui permet de pas être vraiment dérangé par le bruit des voitures, c'était ma crainte en arrivant mais ça n'a pas été du tout le cas. La piscine, partagée avec la location du dessous, est de taille moyenne et était un peu fraîche lors de notre séjour en raison du vent et des averses matinales je pense, son environnement est bien aménagé, elle n'est pas réellement sécurisée l'environnement immédiat de la maison manque un peu de verdure mais il y a un joli petit jardin avec un portique en contre-bas de la piscine L'emplacement quasiment à mi-chemin entre Malendure et Deshaies est très bien pour découvrir Basse-Terre, 2 clubs de plongée très biens l'un au port de Baillargent à 5 mn en voiture l'autre sur la plage de petite Anse à moins de 10 mn loin de la foule des plongeurs de Malendure, on est également à 10 mn de la route de la Traversée Pour les courses, préfèrez le Super U après Deshaies (20mn) ou le Carrefour après Maledure à 15 mn, les superettes de Pointe-Noire et Deshaies sont moyennes et très chères. Bref de bonnes vacances dans le coin

Un petit paradis !!!!! vraiment entre mer et montagne !!

Tout d'abord accueil exceptionnel et chaleureux de la part de Laurencia et de son mari. Tout était réuni pour rendre ce séjour inoubliable sur cette île de cœur. Laurencia toujours prête à faire son possible pour parer à la moindre demande personnelle. Que ce soit Laurencia ou son mari, toujours un petit mot gentil, lorsqu'ils se trouvent dans les parages et tout en restant discret, pour que nous nous sentions bien. Je recommande vivement cette villa super bien située avec un confort à tout niveau. Encore plus jolie que sur les photos et tellement spacieuse avec une vue magnifique sur la mer et l'arrière pays. Encore mille fois merciiiiiii pour tout et aussi pour la gestion très amicale et très pro suite à notre regrettable incident. Bien amicalement.

WAOUH !

Nous sommes 6 personnes adultes à avoir occupé la superbe maison de Mme CHOUCOUTOU, pendant les 3 premières semaines de janvier 2019. Cette location est tout à fait conforme au descriptif. Elle est spacieuse, lumineuse, moderne, très confortable et très bien équipée. On s’y sent bien instantanément. Elle est bien située, au calme, sur les hauteurs de Pointe Noire, en Basse Terre. La pente certes prononcée, de l’allée qui conduit à la location, ne doit pas être un obstacle. En outre, les propriétaires sont prévenants et attentifs au bien-être de leurs locataires. Pour ce qui nous concerne, nous n’avons relevé aucun point négatif. En résumé, on recommande, sans réserve, cette location. Famille FAUTOUS

Excellent location. Beautiful home. Gracious hosts.

On our first trip to Guadeloupe my my girlfriend and I were lucky to land in the perfect spot. We had originally planned to split our time between Basse Terre and Grande Terre, but liked the house so much that we decided to stay for the duration of our trip. The house is situated on a hillside with a beautiful view of the sea and the mountains. The location is within a short drive from some of the most beautiful beaches in Guadeloupe, notably Petite Anse and Grande Anse. Nearby charming Deshaies is full of restaurants and has a wonderful laid back vibe. We also enjoyed spending time in Pointe Noire, which caters less to tourists. After a day at the beach or exploring the island, we looked forward to returning to our beautiful house. The pictures do not do justice to the attention to detail and quality of the construction. You enter into a beautiful living area with a cathedral ceiling and large terrace overlooking the sea and mountains. The open kitchen is very well equipped and has the latest appliances. The master bedroom has a window overlooking the same view as well as a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with an excellent shower. Also on the first floor is a laundry room and guest bathroom. The upstairs consists of two additional bedrooms, one with its own terrace overlooking the sea and mountains. The second floor bedrooms share a full bathroom. The WiFi is excellent, as is the entertainment system. There is more than enough room for two couples and a few kids or a large family. Our hosts were gracious, friendly and helpful. We simply loved everything about our stay and will surely return.

Maison très agréable avec vue mer très degagee

Très bon accueil par les proprietaires des lieux. Villa moderne très spacieuse pour 5 à 6 personnes. La vue très dégagée sur la mer au loin est très agréable pendant les repas. La piscine permet de se rafraichir. Nous avons hâte de revenir en Guadeloupe et dans cette villa. Je recommande vivement.

Désir & Laurencia are wonderful hosts who thought of every detail.

We couldn't have asked for more. Up on a hill, the sea/land views are lush. Nice pool and lots of spaces for R&R. Well equipped kitchen, nicely furnished home, BBQ grill, easy access to wifi, nice linens and towels (One detail: Glad we had a good car as driveway is very steep. Important if you're hiking and driving a lot, too.)

Très belles vacances au bon endroit!

Très jolie maison qui correspond en tous points a la description. Vue exceptionnelle. Très confortable avec tout l'équipement nécessaire. Très bonne situation, près de tout. De plus, les hôtes sont accueillants, chaleureux, discrets.

Island Paradise

(English follows) Nous avons séjourné ici pendant 11 jours, et nous avons vraiment apprécié cette maison! Il est bien meublé comme le montrent les photos et a une vue magnifique sur la mer des Caraïbes et l'île de Montserrat. Les propriétaires sont des hôtes gracieux. Nous avons été rencontrés à l'aéroport de location de voiture lorsque nous avons ramassé notre voiture et suivi le propriétaire à la maison, à environ une heure de l'aéroport. Il y a un marché et une boulangerie à environ 5 minutes et beaucoup de stands des légumes frais. Il y a aussi des marchés Carrefour dans les grandes villes sur la côte ouest de Basse-Terre. Il y a beaucoup des plages dans les environs comme Malendure (ou le plongée avec tuba est meilleur le long du littoral de l'extrême droite). Notre principal intérêt est la plongée avec tuba et nous avons également pris un voyage en bateau à l'Isle de Oiseaux dans la réserve Cousteau et le Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin au large de la côte de Sainte-Rose avec Gwadaventures. Nous avons également aimé visiter le Jardin Botanique de Deshaies et La Maison du Cacao. Nous avons mangé un délicieux déjeuner au Parc aquacole ou vous pourrez déguster les produits de ferme aquacole. Oui, il est compliqué de conduire sur les routes de montagne et il prendra 2-3 jours pour s'y habituer. Une fois acclimatée, votre rapidement se rendre compte que vous êtes dans un endroit idéal. (English) We stayed for 11 days in January 2017 and really enjoyed this house! It is well-furnished as shown by the pictures and has a magnificent view of the Caribbean Sea and the island of Montserrat. Our hosts were very gracious. We were met at the airport rental car building by the owner when we picked up our car and followed him in his car to the house, about one hour from the airport. There is a market and bakery about 5 mins away and lots of fresh vegetable stands. There are also Carrefour markets in the major towns along the West coast of Basse-Terre. There are many nearby beaches, such as Malendure (great snorkeling along the far right coastline). Our primary interest is snorkeling and we also took a boat trip to the Pigeon Islands in the Cousteau Reserve and the Lagoon off of Sainte-Rose with Gwadaventures. We also enjoyed visiting the Botanical Garden of Deshaies, Maison du Cacao, and had a delicious lunch at the Parc Aquacole featuring their own products. It does take 2-3 days to get used to the roads, but once you do, you realize you are in the perfect spot.
