Amazing fun in the sun.

The place was clean and had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming the whole neighborhood was quiet and clean. I highly recommend this property for two people it is perfect. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great location, very comfortable and having the canal was nice. The screened patio was great for sitting outside. Being able to use the Cabana Club was very nice. The place could use a deep cleaning in the bathroom around the baseboards. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay for a beautiful week in the keys. If you're looking for a great happy hour spot Havana Jacks has a nice outside tiki bar with a decent menu.

We enjoyed the home One issue was the pool filter and or air conditioner was very loud making it very unpleasant to sit in screened in porch

Favorite rental

Clean , cute, bright. Good central location for seeing all of the keyes. Everything was in good working order. Bed and furniture was comfortable ( have not had that in all VRBOs)

Great Place for Fishing and Chilling

Boat dock in the channel is perfect for multi day boat rental. Quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants. Cabana club with pool ,hot tub and bar/restaurant is a plus. Would stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The rental was perfect for us. Clean, wonderful location, and the perfect size for the 2 of us. We have stayed in a few places in the Keys and this is now our favorite. We will definitely be back.

Perfect for a couple

Cute, nicely decorated one bedroom. We had family staying in a bigger house in KCB and this was a perfect spot for us to come and go with them. Hot tub is a perk. Awesome location for sunsets at Sunset Park. Will definitely stay again.

November 2021

My husband and I stayed early November 2021. The duplex was exactly as pictured. It was very clean and comfortable. Since you are on the channel, the neighbors across the channel are very “close” so being out on the patio is lacking in privacy, but that wasn’t a big deal for us. The patio has a large fence on both sides so there is privacy from the side neighbors ( but not from the noise-there was a very barky dog on the one side). Just be aware, you will hear your neighbors when out on the patio. Again, this was not a big deal for us, but if you want a quiet private back patio area, you may not get it at this duplex. There was a friendly family staying on the other side of the duplex when we rented. We never heard them when we were inside the house, so it is quiet inside. We really enjoyed the easy walk to Sunset Park each evening. We used the Cabana club several days to swim and get drinks. We rented bikes for the week and rode to dinner , to the Cabana club, and we did a long ride down to the seven mile bridge ( we wanted to ride out to Pigeon Key, but the old bridge is closed for repairs-and has been for 4 years). We also visited Key West ( 1 hour 15 min drive ). Overall, very nice place to rent and we would rent it again!

Great little place

Overall it was ana amazing little place. Perfect for what we needed for the week. There was a few A/C issue but Leslie jumped on it immediately and was corrected by the end of the day.

Can’t wait to go back

This place was everything we expected and more! Excellent location, great house, and very clean. The canal/dock are wonderful any time of day and the house is just the right amount of space. We were both working during our stay and never had a wifi issue. It is one of best spots we have had in a long time. Hope we get to visit again! The only downside was there was the propane for the grill was empty when we tried to use it. We refilled the tank and they reimbursed us the cost, so this was a minor issue. Perfect stay!

Quiet. The porch and dock made the space more open and feel larger than it is. Having access to the beach club which provides a beach, pool and restaurant was a big plus.

Great stay except...

Our stay was nice except for the dirty laundry in the washer when we arrived and I had rewash the towels left in the dryer. The gas tank for the grill was completely empty which even though the check in says to fill it and get reimbursed, I felt it could have been checked by the cleaning crew & handled prior to our arrival. Other than that the place was very nice,

New Year's celebration

Clean property, everything you need for your stay in Marathon. Fishing right from the deck, hot tub a plus. Leslie, the manager was very responsive to our emails. We would return and recommend this property for vacationing.

It was wonderful

Thank you Leslie, we had a great time. The place was beautifully decorated and super clean. Everything is well maintained and up to date, one of the nicest rental experiences we have had in KC. I might only suggest some lighting in the screened patio, it was pitch dark at night without the ambient lighting from the kitchen. Other than that, we loved it. Thanks again, Andrew and Cindy

Wonderful place!

The check-in process was easy and fast. The boat ramp isn’t too far and the trailer parking in the city lot is pretty straight forward, although I’d recommend having two people for this. The house was clean, the community was quiet, and the bed was so comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning!

Great quiet place to stay with easy water access if you are a boater!

This duplex was clean and well appointed. Nice beach decor, comfortable bed, laundry and dishwasher. Everything worked and I would definitely stay here again. Nice quiet community, not to far from everything. Freezer outside for keeping bait, fish cleaning station, easy access if you rent or bring your own boat. Cabana Club has nice relaxing pool, a small beach, and a nice bar. Has a nice screened in porch, then step outside to hot tub and a few more steps to a sunbathing deck and boat dock. It's not tiny but not huge either, but we found it quite comfortable! A+++ rating from us!

Beautiful house!

We had a wonderful vacation in Key Colony Beach! Visited Marathon for our 30th wedding anniversary. Our duplex was perfect! It was very roomy, very clean and perfectly decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (and some things we didn't even know we needed). We ate all our meals in the airy screened in porch. We used the hot tub every night...steps from the back door. Had cocktails on the deck overlooking the canal...waved to all the neighbors and boaters. Everyone was so friendly. Enjoyed the Cabana Club so much. Nice pool, hot tub, beach, bar, restaurant, rest rooms and staff!! We even walked their a couple of times (only .7 miles from our duplex). Made sure to visit Sunset Park and sing along with the regulars to the sunset! Had a nice meal and cocktails at Havana Jacks, right next door to the Cabana Club. Very fun!! And, American Caribbean Real Estate was great to work with. They answered all our questions. And, even called us to make sure everything was going well!
