Fly till lugn i denna ljusa, nyrenoverade gästhuslägenhet med ett sovrum på en stor gammal halv tunn tunnland. Centralt beläget i Pasadena med enkel motorvägsåtkomst, gå in i en annan värld när du kliver under gårdens redwood, palm och magnolia. Ta trappan till lägenheten under ett hundra år gammalt olivträd. Njut av utsikten från soldäcket och dröm bort några timmar på en hängmatta i bambus miniskogen intill ett fiskdamm, medan du lyssnar på fåglar sjunger.
Den 412 kvadratmeter stora lägenheten ligger i sin egen byggnad, åtskild från gårdens huvudhus. Ett hundra år gammalt olivträd ger skugga och integritet och bara några steg från din dörr kommer du att ha din egen lilla bambus miniskog till dig själv.

Vardagsrummet sträcker sig ut till ett rymligt soldäck med utsikt över San Gabriel-bergen. Det finns ett fullt utrustat kök med kylskåp, ugn, spis, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, brödrost och handfat. Det finns wifi och en TV har nyligen lagts till, med över ett dussin Spectrum-TV-kanaler inklusive stora nätverk, sport, barn och ljudmusikstationer. Roku-pinnen erbjuder också det extra alternativet att strömma ditt eget Netflix, Hulu, Sling eller andra prenumerationer. Hårtork, strykjärn och strykbräda finns samt grundläggande toalettartiklar. * Vi ligger inom gångavstånd från slutet av vägen för den berömda Pasadena Rose Parade samt visningen efter flottören efter paraden. Rose Parade hålls varje 1 januari (såvida inte den 1 januari faller på en söndag, i vilket fall är paraden på måndag 2 januari). Floatvisningen hålls omedelbart efter paradens slut och in dagen efter.

Pleasing environs

The guesthouse apartment was cozy and included all we needed for a comfortable stay. The mature trees and garden setting were most welcome and lovely when lit up at night. And we very much appreciated the French pastries, homemade preserves, and coffee each day...thank you Ailin and Herve!

Lovely stay, great communication

I had a very easy and lovely stay in this beautiful place! The setting is gorgeous--lots of beautiful trees and flowers. I especially loved hearing the birds sing every morning. There were lots of great amenities, like French pastries (!!) and an adorable sundeck. Check-in and check-out couldn't have been easier. I had everything I needed and then some. Will definitely book again. Thank you!!

Lovely private mini estate with all that we needed

We enjoyed our stay here!…pastries for the morning, tons of fluffy towels and a fully stocked kitchen (and frig). The hosts were very attentive to the minor needs and questions we had. Though near the main house this separate unit felt very private.

Lovely property with lush garden. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Great attention to detail. Paradise in Pasadena

This guesthouse was so beautiful and perfect for our little family. The environment was beautiful and peaceful. Our son loved the garden and is now obsessed with having his own pond. A slice of Pasadena Paradise

For my husband and me, this was an idyllic VRBO experience. The outdoor environment is picturesque and well maintained. There are designated areas for guests and owners so privacy is provided. The owners were very responsive if we had a question; as well, they are pleasant and easy going. The neighborhood is lovely and safe. We enjoyed walks in and around the neighborhood. This place was everything we hoped it would be and more. The property is lovely. Quiet Pasadena Guest House

My husband and I stayed at this lovey E. Orange Grove guest house for three nights. It was a wonderful location, quiet and in a beautiful garden setting. We loved the patio area just off the kitchen. Ailin was a wonderful host. Our son lives in the area and there was enough room to entertain him in the living area and patio. We will absolutely stay here again and give the whole experience a big thumbs up. I forgot to mention Ailin's adorable basset hound that roamed the property! All in all, a fantastic stay!

Little treehouse in a great location!

Thoroughly enjoyed our few days at "L'Orangerie". The guesthouse was perfect for two, upstairs with view of trees and mountains. Loved breakfast and dinner on the terrace - cool and shady, even on hot days. Compact little abode, yet it has everything you need for a delightful getaway in Pasadena. Great location - easy to get to the Huntington Library and Gardens, Norton Simon Museum, Descanso Gardens and Old Pasadena restaurants. Ailin and Herve' were terrific hosts - great communications, and very personable without being intrusive. We will definitely return !

Great little guest house in a perfect location

We rented the guest house for a family trip to see our daughter march in the Rose Bowl parade. My husband, myself and our teenage son stayed here for six days. The location is wonderful, close to many of the area’s attractions and restaurants. It took less than an hour to arrive from LAX. The check-in instructions are very detailed. It is very secure with a locked gate and the on site parking was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed the garden and pond area and the time we got to spend with Mala, the basset hound. Thank you Ailin!

Cozy little place in Pasadena

Very nice garage apartment with a European touch on a really nice Spanish Mission style residential property. Very local feel and in a quiet safe neighborhood. Complete with balcony w/ mountain View, wifi, tv, kitchenette, fold out couch and nice queen sized bedroom. Came with a bowl of welcome pastries and a platter full of homemade fruit jams in the fridge. Barely saw or heard our hosts. But they were very responsive when we had a question.

Our “Treetop Bungalow” Never Disappoints

We look forward each Spring to this lovely one-bedroom apartment above the garage in a secluded spot off Orange Grove Boulevard. It provides a clean space of everything we need. We especially love the terrace deck, surrounded by bougainvillea, trees, birds and mountains. So endearing to return to the dining room table with a big bowl filled with fresh croissants and home-made orange blossom marmalade from the fridge. Small European bathroom, comfy bed, and the garden entrance is delightful.
