Helt renoverat och uppdaterat hösten 2015. Fullt möblerat kök och badrum, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, tak i katedralen, luftkonditionering, trägolv och alla hemliga bekvämligheter i hemmet. Även om huset inte sitter direkt vid vattnet, ligger fastigheten vid sjön och erbjuder en mycket kort 1 minuters promenad till sjön. Ligger tillbaka på en skogsbevuxen mycket, erbjuder stugan (aka: Camp) privatliv, avskildhet, ensamhet. Den skyddade vik är fodrad med klippor och stränder med många ställen att simma. Njut av familjesamlingar eller en helt helg ensam med någon speciell. En tennisbana och en lekplats ligger en kort promenad bort och naturstigar är överflöd bokstavligen några meter från stugan. Kom och utforska storheten av Lake Champlain & de närliggande Green Mountains och Adirondacks. Även om det inte är ett lyxigt hem, är stugan mysig, campy men ändå bekväm med fullt utrustat kök och badrum, furu-vardagsrum / vardagsrum och sovrum utrustade med ny inredning. Två bekväma sovrum. Njut av landskapet, ensamhet, frisk luft, höstlövverk eller helt enkelt fly staden eller sommarvärmen. Säkert en av de bästa erbjudandena i stan.

A very clean lake house with gorgeous views. Would gladly stay here again. This was a relaxing stay during my daughter’s college grad.

Relaxing week in a beautiful spot!

Three couples were vacationing together. Sitting in the front and looking out over the water with our meals was a favorite activity. We did a lot of swimming, boating and took adventures off to local towns. A wonderful spot to explore!

Great Stay at Long Point.

Fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, tennis, running......or just lounging.....it doesn't get any better than a summer week at Long Point. Golf at any one of several nearby courses. Visit Vergennes or Burlington, or swing by the Rokeby, Lake Champlain Maritime, or Shelburne Museums for some history. Hosts Victor and Sally were great and the camp was perfect for the 3 of us.

Wonderful, relaxing, great location and very comfortable .

We loved our 10 day stay at Casa Lago. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make it feel like home. Location is great, steps away from Lake Champlain and close to hiking and nature walks. We went out canoeing every morning and the fishing is really good. Had several outstanding meals at nearby restaurants. The neighbors on Long Point were very friendly and our dog met new friends, too. We hope to go back next year!!

Stayed over the weekend for a wedding

Beautiful house and location. The host was very nice and easy to contact. The only down side was that the place was very cold which made it very uncomfortable to be there, the place provided space heaters which we had to move from place to place to keep ourselves warm. Blankets are not warm so I would recommend you bring your own. Other than that we loved the house!

A relaxing week by the lake

This is a lovely house with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed the porch for reading and doing puzzles, and the home was the perfect place for our family to unwind, unplug, and relax. It was a hot week, so we appreciated the ceiling fans and the a/c in the master bedroom. While the waterfront is not ideal for swimming, especially for kids (it's shallow but the rocks are slippery and there is a good amount of seaweed), we enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding in the calm bay. There are lovely lake views all along the point, and we enjoyed evening sunset walks. It was easy to get to nearby towns, and we visited Burlington a few times during our stay. Our favorite local attraction was Cookie Love, the creemee stand just up the road. Vista Lago is clean and beautiful, everything was in working order, and we had just about everything we needed for a low-key week together.

Comfortable home with beautiful view

A group of friends stayed at this property to visit grandchildren who are all students at UVM. The house is modern and comfortable with a beautiful, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. We all enjoyed the gorgeous views of the lake and mountains from the line of rocking chairs on the enclosed porch. There are a lot of places to hike nearby, everything from easy to challenging.

Charming lakefront cottage

If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation on Lake Champlain, Vista Lago is a lovely choice. Long Point is a nice location and welcoming community. The owners of this house have done a wonderful job updating the property while maintaining its charm. It was clean, comfy, and very well appointed, with a modern kitchen and beautiful south-facing views of the lake.

Peaceful, clean, enjoyable stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Victor & Sally's house. Nicely/newly renovated, clean, comfortable, and everything we needed. Very bright with many windows and uncluttered, just great. And, quiet, which is key for us....beautiful on the lake. Victor and Sally were also very accommodating with the timing of our trip and our arrival and some issues we had in getting there. They were very easy to deal with, responsive, and kind. Very grateful for their communication, hospitality, and nice vacation they afforded us! Thank you!

Quiet with an amazing view of the lake!

The house was clean, well equipped and comfortable with lots of nicely done updates. The view of the lake was spectacular and we couldn’t believe how peaceful! The owners were quick to respond to questions and even left us some farm fresh eggs upon arrival! A great find and reasonably priced. Thanks for all!

Great cabin by the lake

A very clean and spacious cabin. Has all appliances one would expect for the stay. We enjoyed kayaking Lake Champlain, and hiking Mt Philo which is a very short drive from the house. Will consider returning next year.

Great stay

It was so peaceful and quiet and a great access area to sit by the lake. Very clean unit and furnished with the right amount of dishes, pots and pans etc.

Great spot

We loved our stay at Sally and Victor’s Camp. The house was recently remodeled and was nicely done. The bedrooms were comfortable, clean and neat. Living room was comfortable and the kitchen was set up with new appliances and plenty of counter space. The location was wonderful. The house is located in a private association with its own water access to Lake Champlain about 75 yards away. We enjoyed walking the association grounds and found it a great jumping off spot to explore the rest of Vermont.

Cozy spot for exploring greater Burlington area

We (Sally and Victor) have been happily married for 27 years and have 2 wonderful children and 4 fabulous grandchildren. Victor recently retired after a 30 year law enforcement/counterterrorism career. Sally spent her career in the restaurant biz and also recently retired. Varför värden valde detta boende

Sally is from the same area and a true Vermonter. Victor first visited Vermont in 1986 and fell in love with the area immediately. The people are so friendly, life is slower, and the scenery is absolutely stunning.
