Stay at Pressignac-Viq

A lovely house, well set out with a kitchen perfect for my attempts at cooking! The pool was private and perfect, and the overall location of the property was just right for exploring the Perigord region.

Great Holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our week, the house and pool are fantastic with everything we needed Fabienne is very helpful but not at all intrusive. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely return.

Lovely week in this comfortable villa. Pool was very good. Nice quiet area. All the facilities you need. Fabienne who was next door was very nice and helpful but not intrusive. Would recommend.

Fantastic stay

Amazing very well equipped house.Brilliant heated pool set in lovely garden .Wish we had booked longer than a week .So many places to visit .Lalinde is a beautiful town just down the rd with good supermarket and restaurants. We were a family of 6 adultsand a toddler which the house easilycaters for .Are hosts were extremely helpful. Would throughly recommended

Great house in the Dordogne

Fantastic house with fantastic pool. The photos really don’t do the quality and size of the house justice. A great place to spend two weeks in the sun (mostly 😉). Fabienne was great and happy to help with anything house related and recommendations for restaurants or canoeing. Lalinde market is great on a Thursday and Bergerac is a lovely small city. Great holiday, thank you

Quality property

Exceeded our expectations. This property is arranged for Families with children in mind. Separate playroom is rare but this had one with plenty of toys and games to keep the kids amused . Quality wooden furniture gives the place a real lift with a smart kitchen and comfortable seating in the lounge . The bedrooms are good to adequate with the weakness being the upper bedroom witch is not an easy access despite some alterations being done last year. Overall a good quality holiday home and we would definately return.

Lovely stay

Just returned from a lovely 2 week stay. The weather was mixed but the pool was always warm and we swam almost everyday The property itself is tastefully done and very clean. It easily accommodated our party of 6. The fourth bedroom, above the garage, is accessed by steep steps which wouldn’t be suitable for someone with mobility problems. My only suggestion would be that the large walk in wardrobe attached to the master bedroom would make a good en suite! The location of the property is good. It’s approximately 10 mins drive from Lalinde, a pretty town with restaurants and a large supermarket. It isn’t possible to walk to any shops or restaurants so car is essential.

Very enjoyable stay with friendly/helpful property manager

Spent a week in the house in July and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The inside of the home is very spacious with a massive kitchen/dining/living room. The kitchen area is American-style with all the things that you’d expect, eg dishwasher, large fridge/freezer. There is also a separate laundry room. Despite the inside being so comfortable, we spent most of the time outside and that’s what really makes it. A heated pool, covered outside dining area and a largish garden plot that is enclosed and perfect as we have a small dog. Whilst situated in a fairly rural spot, the house is only a 10/15 drive to a local town with reasonable sized supermarket, restaurants, bakers, etc. There is also a vets where as British travellers we could get our dog checked for our return home. For those looking to need all the bedrooms, bear in mind that the 4th bedroom accessed from the garage has steep loft-style steps. A lovely stay and would recommend as one of the nicest holiday rentals we’ve stayed in.

An amazing property and holiday

From the first moment we enquired about staying at this property Fabienne was so friendly and helpful. We were a family travelling with our teenage son and our 2 year old dog. She answered all our questions about the property and its suitability travelling with a dog - the property and garden are fully enclosed, so it was safe for him to be out. Fabienne also answered any questions we had about the local area for us too. On the day we arrived, we drove from Calais, and we experienced some travel delays, but Fabienne waited for us to welcome us to the property and give us a tour, which was very kind and appreciated. The property is simply amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for a self catering holiday, and there is an additional fridge and freezer in the pantry as well. The pantry is a huge space for storage as well. The bedrooms are a huge size. The garden is beautiful and the pool area is wonderful, and to be honest we spent most of our time in the garden and in the pool. We were very lucky with the weather too. We enjoyed the remote location of the property - Lalinde Town is only a 10 minute drive and caters for most of what you'll need for your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay and would love to come back and stay again at some point in the future.

Ensemble pour mariage

Regroupement de la famille venant du Nord, de Montpellier, de ste Maxime... pour mariage de mon fils. Une semaine pour préparer et une semaine pour s'en remettre . Avons pu profiter de tous et du soleil. Le gîte est spacieux où chacun pouvait trouver son petit coin. Accueil sympathique. Adresse à conserver pour un autre séjour.

Beautiful house and pool

This is a lovely comfortable house with good social spaces with combined kitchen and lounge. The pool is lovely tho we had a few technical issues but this was possibly down to the torrential rain. Any problems were dealt with really promptly by Fabienne. Lalinde is a lovely town with a square to have coffee with the locals and a good market on Thursday. Had no trouble sorting a vet appointment for my dog. All in all, beautiful countryside, lovely house very easy place to stay.

Over 70's

Beautiful well maintained villa in Pressignac-vicq area of woods. Lovely Gardens and loved the pool. Everything we needed. Pool kept at 30 degrees for our stay in late September 2023. We were 2 couples 70+ and couldn't use on suite facilities up stairs which was disappointing because no handrails and very steep. However for 2 younger couples and 4 children it would be ideal and reasonable price.. We were told however the staircase is to be changed in November so for next year there wouldn't be a problem. Thank you Fabienne for your prompt response to our queries. A very beautiful spot. We went to the restaurant up the road twice, La Auberge Bebeyrotte, for the splendid duck. Thank you for recommending. With our thanks and good wishes from Mike and Carol, Jean and Stuart.

Great

This was a lovely place to stay as couldn’t be more helpful and it was very well equipped really no downsides to it at all save possibly the steep stairs to the bedroom above the garage which are going to be fixed. Next year we would seriously consider staying again, or some of our family members coming here.
