En liten bungalow gömd bortifrån med Country French Decor. Nära Gamla stan Fallbrook och alla stadens bekvämligheter. Lika avstånd till Oceanside Beaches och Temecula Wine Country. Fallbrook har massor av evenemang som Christmas Parade, Avocado Festival, eftersom det är Avacado Capital, Turkey Trot, Halloween Celebration är mycket stort i den här staden och varje butik deltar genom att sätta upp dekorationer, heta nätter, etc. Det är en stor liten, gammal stad som grundades 1869. För klassiska bilälskare är denna stad full av dem som dyker upp till alla stadsevenemang. Stor queen size-säng för 2, vacker pool och badtunna. Stor queen size-säng för 2. Vacker pool och badtunna. Hostess with the mostess!

We had a great stay, place was private, beautiful, easy to access and very clean. My inlaws have a new go to in Fallbrook! The pool and jaccuzzi were so nice to use as well. Our host was very friendly and made us feel most welcome.

We were there for soccer tournament. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything we planned to do was easy to get too. Very family friendly. Lyn and Joe were very helpful!! We definitely stay there again.!! 💛⚽️

Amazing

We absolutely loved this “Hacienda Hideaway”, perfect name for a perfect place. The owners were unbelievably welcoming. They even loved our dog who can be a little rambunctious at times. The casita was so cozy, a very lovely space. We will be back!!

Cute cottage, loud area, no privacy

The cottage itself is cute and quaint, and the backyard with pool and hot tub is beautiful and well maintained. Lyn was easy to get a hold of, and they were quite accommodating. However, there were some issues I wish we’d known before booking: -The house backs up to a busy street and a high school, causing a lot of noise. We had assumed it would be an escape out in the country and very quiet. -The pool & hot tub are in a separate part of the backyard in front of the main house, so there was little privacy to use those amenities. Additionally you have to be in contact to turn on the hot tub, making it less private and easy to use. -There were constant check-ins from Lyn, asking us to turn off porch lights, walking over and knocking the night we arrived even though we had our dog with us and had already texted (and it was 8pm or so). We felt like we were constantly being watched, for instance getting texts as soon as we left the hot tub asking if we were done for the night. I’m not used to having to communicate so extensively in vacation rentals, and it made it hard to relax or enjoy privacy. -There were lots of random charges added after the fact - a mandatory insurance charge that didn’t pop up until we were about to confirm the booking ($80 non-refundable charge for only 3 nights!!). In addition to the mandatory insurance, there’s also a deposit and a nightly pet fee. We even got charged a “laundry” fee after the fact (on top of the cleaning fee). More extras than I’ve ever had to pay for a vacation rental, which increased the price significantly. -Nothing to cook with in the kitchen - no stove, only a microwave. There was supposed to be a hot plate on the grill outside, which wasn’t working for our stay, but they were working on getting that fixed. -The furniture in the living room of the cottage was almost unusable.. seemed like patio furniture. My partner and I (both small people) couldn’t even fit on the couch, so it was hard to relax. Additionally there was only one tiny table in the whole place to set things on (or eat on), which made it quite challenging to function. Overall, they were accommodating and nice people, but I’m not thrilled with our stay.

This place is special. The cottage looks brand new, the yard is cut to perfection, the assortment of flowers are beautiful, & the pool just sparkles. Don’t pass up this one!

Great place for a couple with a dog. Grounds are gorgeous.

We were looking for a close get a way from SoCal at the last minute. Lots of yard for are little dog to run at top speed. She loved being outside all afternoon, while we hung out at the pool. Plenty of shade. Casitas was very clean. Only thing missing is a dresser or suitcase holder, but was easy to make it work. Shower had great water pressure and very refreshing after spending the day at the pool. We will return!

Family Time

I rented this property for my parents to spend the weekend near San Diego where I live with the grandkids. Joe and Lyn were great, recommended great places to eat. One day was spent at the pool with the family. Quiet, beautiful backyard retreat.

Fabulous Getaway

My fiance and I really enjoyed our time at this wonderful hidden gem. The pool was clean and relaxing. The area surrounding the pool was beautifully landscaped and easily accessible. The bed was very comfortable and so was the everything else about the cottage. Our hosts were very friendly, very helpful and not at all intrusive. A+

Super nice, but pool is in front of main house and windows

Lyn was a wonderful host! There are some extra fees, so the cost is a little higher than the base rate advertised. Three things to mention: 1. The pool is private, but it is in front of the living room windows. While Lyn was kind to close the blinds, you can't just walk out or assume that you sunbathing is private when the blinds are open. But again, Lyn is pretty quick to close the blinds. 2. The kitchen does not have any stove or burners, only a microwave, so even boiling pasta or making a frozen pizza isn't possible. 3. There is not any air conditioning in the casita. It wasn't too hot, but the listing should say a fan, not air cond. Overall it was a nice, pleasant stay and I'd recommend Lyn's place!

dog's paradise

We chose this Hacienda hideaway as it was between San Diego and LA. Our dog enjoyed the backyard of the property alongwith the host's dog. The host was very kind and enterprising. Bathroom was spacious and the shower was handy to give our dog a bath. There were few cons - 1. The website didn't have enough information about the space. We found only upon enquiry that it didn't have a stove although the host offered to cook for us. 2.We discovered the bed was not of Queen(80 x 60) size. It felt like a double/full ( 54 x 75) size. Though the host assured us that it was of Queen. 3.The wicker furniture was not very comfortable. 4.The jacuzzi didn't work cuz of heavy rains for which the host kindly offered us a free stay if we booked 2 more nights for future.

Hidden Gem!

Lyn was extremely accommodating and hospitable, we stayed during thanksgiving and although a stove and oven are not available in the guesthouse, she offered her own oven in the main house. Her guest house was perfect for our little getaway with our pups. We arrived to find a baked dish with delicious orange buns and she stocked the fridge with water, soft drinks, and even a bottle of wine. She was extremely helpful and welcoming. Thank you Lyn for all the extras, we can’t wait to return and really enjoy the pool and spa. Thank you!

Very relaxing

What a great property. We had a lot of work to do while we were here. Lyn was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool was refreshing. The casita was comfortable. My Mini Schnauzer had a lovely yard to run around with her small dog. I would highly recommend this short term rental.

Relaxing getaway

We had a very relaxing time at the Hacienda Hideaway. It was very easy to check in late. We were able to have private space with access to the pool, hot tub, and beautiful yard with the host being available for questions. Groceries and wine were provided which was a lovely addition. It was wonderful seeing fresh fruit growing on the property and a family of rabbits in the yard. The property is very dog friendly which is very much appreciated!

Really a “home away from home”

I had an unexpected family event that required my attention in the Fallbrook area for several weeks. The hacienda casita was everything as described in the listing - and more. My hostess was always available, but never intrusive. Friendly, intelligent and knowledgeable about the area. I can not rate by stay any higher!

Awesome!

The property manager was more than accommodating. She made us feel at home.Everything was very clean and well kept. We were able enjoy the pool and hot tub which was also well kept. This was a pleasant surprise and we're lucky to stay here rather than the hotel.

Quaint Enjoyable Hacienda

The Hacienda was very spacious for being a one bedroom and the hostess was lovely. The fresh flowers and bottle of wine was a wonderful way to be greeted. While it is part of a larger property where the hostess lives you still have your own secluded oasis with beautiful grass belt and cactus garden and private entrance. It was a great place to take our dog and the pool area and backyard were very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and with hiking, breweries and a winery near by we had plenty to do. My only suggestion would be better drinking and wine glasses as I don’t prefer drinking out of plastic cups. Thank you Lyn and Joe.

Perfect pet friendly vacation rental

I stayed for 2 weeks while I was in the process of moving from the Bay to Southern California. I stayed there with my dog and we both loved it. It was the perfect place for us. The homeowners are absolutely wonderful and very gracious and welcoming. My dog and their dog got along great. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and pleasant.
