The house is in the perfect location. Close to lots of shopping and eating places. Easy walk to the beach. Pool was clean but the weather wasn't cooperative to use. Still a little cold. The beach was noce and having chairs and umbrellas available was wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating. While we were close to the main road, it was quiet and couldn't hear traffic. Definitely happy we chose this home for our vacation time.

The location of this property could not be more perfect. It is just around the corner from anything one would need, even within walking distance. It was lovely to sit on the deck and watch the waves between the condos. While there is not seating on the crow's nest, it's fun to go up and see all around Miramar. The house offers ample space for up to 6 guests. The major plus is that everyone has access to the wrap around decks. The living room and kitchen are large with ample space to move around. We enjoyed swimming in the pool after a day at the beach. We did go to the heated pool that is located on the beach for a bit, but it definitely seems to be utilized by the condo more and we decided to go back to our own pool. While there were some miscommunications with management, we had a great time.

We had a great time, house was very clean. We enjoyed the pool, it was beautiful and water was crystal clear. We have stayed at many places in Destin, but this was by far the best one. Easy check-in and check-out, no issues with the property and neighborhood was lovely.

Great value for location

The property was every nice and accurately described in description.Beach is much closer than described.The pool is nice but can’t be heated so this spot is best when temperatures are high.Overall good stay and would rent property again.

Amazing location!

The property could not be located in a better place! Walking distance to the beach and all stores and restaurants you need! The house was clean and comfortable. The host responded quickly when we needed. The beach was clean and peaceful. We totally recommend this house!

Great place and helpful hosts

We enjoyed 3 days of fishing, hiking and family talks. Great getaway. Trevor and Kelley are fine hosts. Te awa Lodge around the bend if you don't want to cook or set coffee. Highly recommended.

Family vacation

Great experience at this property. Beach access was easy, complimentary umbrella/chair service was a plus, and the check in process was a breeze. I question the size of the beds/mattresses other than the king. They are listed as queen size but definitely looked/felt more like fulls.

Girl’s weekend getaway

The house was fantastic! It was very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. It feels just like being at home. All the pictures are exactly what you get with the house. The beach is not a far walk at all and it was great to have beach service. We also enjoyed having our own pool. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend.

Great place to stay

My family along with 2 friends enjoyed our stay very much. The home was very clean and not worn out like many rentals. It was also very well equipped. My only suggestion would be to have a heated pool even if the rental cost increased or there was an additional charge for heat. During our stay in spring of the year the pool is completely unusable.

Sunseeker House in Miramar Beach

This house is exactly as advertised. The property is neat, about 100 yards easy walk to beach and includes beach amenities of the Condo Bldg. The rental is completely bare upon arrival (no leftover pantry staples e.g). The management team is very responsive to calls and/or messages and were very helpful when called upon. We is enjoyed the stay and would recommend this unit to either families or friends.

Had an amazing time

The property was very clean and nicely updated. The only complaint we had was that we booked for one week and we had 3 rolls of toilet paper, 1 paper towel and only 2 pods for the dishwasher! So if you decided to stay here you basically need to buy everything yourself!! Otherwise we had a great time!! 2 min walk to the beach loved it

As mentioned in the rental agreement, housekeeping provides a limited amount (starters) of such items as paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and dish detergent. The Good: Inside of house is very updated and spacious. Wrap around porches and balconies were nice.The Bad: This is a key entry and there was only one key. Kind of hard to share one key with 4 people. The Ugly: Major water leak from upstairs master bath down onto the kitchen table. Called the emergency line and they said they would send somebody out. They didn't and we couldn't use the master bath for 2 days out of our 4 days there. You could tell by older damage on the ceiling this problem happened previously. Second Ugly was the cleaning crew trying to enter property at 7:30 AM on Sunday (our last day). Check out process specifically said 10:00 AM check out with no late checkouts and an additional charge if you violate that. Disappointing they didn't follow their own rules. Pretty sure they can sort these issues out but we won't stay at the property again. We paid too much for this type of experience and no resolution offered.

The single key was inconvenient — I passed this to our team to ensure additional keys are made available and check-in instructions are clarified. I apologize for the leak from the upstairs master bath and that our emergency line didn’t get someone out as expected. I’ve escalated the issue to maintenance to complete repairs and investigate the previous ceiling damage, and we’re reviewing our emergency-response procedure so this doesn’t happen again. I’m also so sorry the cleaning crew attempted entry early on your departure day; we’ll reinforce the 10:00 AM check-out policy with our staff and retrain housekeeping to prevent repeats. We should have offered a timely resolution while you were onsite, and I’m sorry we didn’t. We appreciate you staying with us and for the thorough feedback.

Great location

The location of the property was great with easy access to the beach. The rental system was glitchy but the service reps were very helpful with the check in info. The only issue was the trash service did not pick up as advised in the check in email. We were able to find a maintenance employee who took it away for us.

PERFECT!

This place has it all. I didn't count the steps to the beach but if I have to guess, I would say 50, that's how close to it the property is. The pool doesn't have a heater even though we had amazing weather(75 and above) it wasn't enough to warm up the water... Other than that, everything was great.

Wonderful home, GREAT location!!

First the Pros: Great house!!! Clean and wonderful location. Everything we needed was there. The pool was awesome and we used it every day but 1 and that was because we were at Crab Island. Con: There was not a comfortable seat in the house. Sofa was too soft and I recommend getting cushions for the hard back chairs around the dining table. Also another recommendation, maybe add a reading chair to the bedrooms. They seem large and spacious enough to accommodate a chair. All in all a great stay and we would book again once furniture is upgraded/replaced.

Steps from Beach and close to shopping

We arrived at the house and the valve on the outdoor shower had cracked due to the freezing conditions. The shower was gushing water. I called the emergency number at 11:30 pm and someone picked up immediately and the property manager was at our place within 15 minutes. Quick resolution on the issue!! Someone had previously left a comment that the house did not provide condiments or seasoning. So we packed and brought what we needed. Great location tucked into a small neighborhood steps from the beach. The weather was a little cool during our visit so we shopped at the outlets across the street. Baytown wharf is a great location to visit. Very clean home with lots of space to relax inside and out with the wrap around porch. Would definitely come back to this location.

Great Family House Near Beach

The location of this house is fantastic - less than a five minute walk to Miramar Beach. The area is quiet and lots of restaurants nearby. It’s a little ways away from the craziness of Destin but close enough to enjoy those activities too. It was nice to have the two beach chairs available but we didn’t really use them. The house was large, clean, and as described. The key system they use was a bit outdated and the doors were difficult. The house would work best for 6 people or less. The couches are heavily worn out and only 5 can sit comfortably. They need to update the seating in the family area. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. The pool was the perfect size. The master bathroom shower started leaking onto the kitchen ceiling! We called maintenance and they arrived quickly but were not able to fix the issue while we were there. Hopefully they address soon! Overall, a good home for a family of 5-6, close to Miramar Beach.

Sensational Sun Seeker

This house was absolutely the perfect size for our family! There were 3 couples and everyone enjoyed the stay. The master King bed was comfortable, but the couple that slept in the upstairs Queen bed had a small complaint of the mattress not being as comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked which provided ample opportunities to prepare meals. The refrigerator was very clean and a great size! (Unfortunately, we left our freezer packs for our cooler in the freezer.) The kitchen table was super sticky, so we purchased a paper tablecloth which did the trick! The television in the living room was operable yet the picture was always BLUE! It probably needs to be replaced? The other t.v.s were fine. The towels were great and there were plenty of them. I did wash several of them just to make sure everyone had enough. (BTW, the washer and dryer were clean and in tip-top condition as well.) I was pleased that there was a vacuum to clean the floors. The proximity to the beach was fantastic ~ we just wish the weather had been a lot warmer! Of course, we did not use the pool because of the windy/cool weather. The Sun Seeker was a great find ~ we will plan to return in the warmer months!

Just as advertised! Great home and an even better location!

The property was extremely clean and remarkably cozy. There was just enough room for our family of 4 to each have their own space, but the home could easily accommodate three couples as well. Check in was a breeze as all details were provided the morning of arrival via email. Both the first and second levels have wrap around porches which are great for relaxing in a shaded area during the day or watching the stars in the evening. The finishes in the home were high end and the proximity to the beach is even closer than it appears on the online description. The beds were extremely comfortable leading to a restful night's sleep each evening of our stay. The owners have taken great care to ensure the guests have everything they need for a true "home away from home" experience. The package includes two complimentary beach chair rentals, a table for your beverages, and an umbrella when you go to enjoy the beach. The backyard space is close to other units, but the landscaping is done remarkably well so as to provide almost total privacy. The pool was great for cooling off after returning from a day at the beach and there is even an outdoor shower to rinse all the sand off before going in the pool or back into the home. The home also has a birds nest on the 3rd level with peek a boo views of the Gulf. It would have been great to have seating outside on the birds nest level, however. There is a sign that asks guests not to take seating up to the birds nest and we respected this request so we weren't really able to utilize the space other than going up to take a quick look upon arrival. A minor request would also be to have housekeeping take a look at the kitchen inventory regularly. When attempting to cook dinner, there was an inoperable can opener which caused me to have to leave and go get one to finish dinner. A minor inconvenience, but not a trip I wanted to take for something that should have been there. Either way, this certainly didn't damper our experience as the rental property is easily a 5 out of 5 and potential guests won't go wrong with this property. We highly recommend Crow's Nest to any traveler!

Perfect Family Vacation

11/10 Will be booking again or another one of their properties. Everything was as advertised and beyond. Our whole family of 6 enjoyed every aspect of the house, location, and property amenities. Clean and updated, staff was on top of everything we loved every minute.

You will love it!

We spent 28 days enjoying SunSeeker 1. Very clean, location was great for walking to the beach, shopping and strolling down Scenic 98. It was too cool for the pool but it provided a great view to relax by. The gas grill was a nice surprise and we used it often. Laundry on-site was so convenient. Layout of the house was open and fresh. Fun times were had.

Great property close to the beach

Great house and close to the beach. Everything was great. Keep in mind the pool is not heated and cleaning supplies, toilet paper/ paper towels are up to the guest.
