A must stay

We had a very cozy cabin with all the amenities of home. Our cottage was clean and the surroundings were beautiful. The staff and locals of this community are very friendly and helpful.

Cabin

Very good except for power outage second night. I know out of control of redwoods however my son has diabetes and husband cpap so electricity is very important. Make sure say this could be a possibility.

Great Stay in Wawona

The cabin was awesome and we would recommend to anyone and would stay there again. It was very cozy and quiet and well appointed. It was the perfect rustic cabin in the park. The Wawona general store was 100 yards away and had all the essentials one would need. Can’t say thank you enough for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic Yosemite Stay

We loved this cabin and the Redwoods in Yosemite area. The mattresses were very nice, the deck was great for grilling and eating dinner, everything was clean and comfortable. We are planning to return in the future.

Perfect for our family

We loved our stay. We didn’t have to wait to get in the park. The property was quiet and far enough away from the craziness in the Valley. We didn’t mind the drive. It was very clean and had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here instead of Yosemite valley.

Cozy cabin

Well stocked cabin. We enjoyed dinners out on the porch after a full day visiting Yosemite valley. Friendly and helpful staff at The Redwoods In Yosemite. Would recommend this property.

Amazing house

It was well equipped and beautiful. All of the details was perfect with lamps with super cute animals , mostly bears . We loved it . Every corner of the house was well designed with a nice photo and nice decoration.

First time in Yosemite

What a comfortable, lovely cabin! We loved the real batten door. The directions to get there were clear, the location was perfect - away from the hubub, but a pretty drive to the valley. The home was clean, and everything we needed to use for cooking was available. The beds were comfortable, and there was ample seating for our evenings.

Quaint cabin in Yosemite net out needs perfectly.

Our cabin was still being cleaned when we arrived and the manager offered us wine and a place to wait. Very accommodating and much appreciated

Really nice place to stay in Wawonda/Yosemite

My husband and I just loved this cabin. It was cozy, clean, and very well maintained. There are lots of builtin cabinets, drawers and closets and we appreciated the craftsmanship. TV, comfy furniture, A/C and heat were nice to have after a long day of hiking. We both agreed we would stay here again. Super nice folks at check-in and the store, too!

Location, location, location!

If you are planning a trip to Yosemite this area is perfect! The Walk-A-Bout cabin is exactly what we were hoping for. We stayed for several days and leaving every morning from this location made our days so much more enjoyable. The day we left the park we were shocked at the line of cars waiting to enter. It was at least a mile long! We will definitely return to this cabin when we return to Yosemite!

In the fall, the colors are spectacular as you enjoy the walking path around the golf course of the nearby historic Big Trees Lodge. See the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.

In the winter, the family-friendly Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area (formerly Badger Pass Ski Area) offers snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, cross-country ski tours, and in Yosemite Valley enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink.

In any season our Wedding and Event Center is open for all occasions! Whether it's for a group ski vacation, business training, a family Christmas or Thanksgiving get together, or a reunion of any kind this is the perfect spot for all to gather.
