Renoverad under vintern 2019 sover Cabin 4 i 4 sovrum på bottenvåningen (2 dubbelsängar). Kök, badrum, TV, matbord och sittgrupp. 6 sovplatser.

Täckt veranda med picknickbord, extra sittplatser och eldstad. 1 reserverad parkeringsplats. (Mer tillgängligt på begäran och tillgänglighet.)

Alla som bor på fastigheten kan njuta av vår privata strand, WiFi och DirecTV. Håll dig sval även på de varmaste dagarna med luftkonditionering eller kela med våra spisar av propan, elektrisk eller ved. (Varierar efter plats.)

Vi tillhandahåller alla sängkläder och handdukar du behöver för din vistelse, liksom pappersprodukter för att komma igång. Våra kök inkluderar mikrovågsugnar, gasspisar, gasugn, kyl / frys, kaffebryggare, grytor, kastruller, disk och silver. Vi rengör nästan uteslutande med miljövänliga produkter. Pack-n-pjäser och barnstolar tillgängliga efter först till kvarn.

The Spotted Sandpiper ligger i skogen med fasad på Cayuga sjön och buggar älskar skogen och vattnet! De är kunniga på att hitta sina vägar inomhus (det är ju stugor). Om buggarna någonsin "buggar" dig, hjälper vi alltid gärna.

Small cabin next to large lake

4 small cabins, 4 larger cabins next to large lake. Nice beach area with free boats but no sand. We had fun visiting the nearby state parks, hiking and seeing the grand waterfalls.

First time campers

The owners were very helpful and responsive. The cabin was close to the lake, but not for those who cannot climb steep stairs - the owners were upright about the terrain. The location of the cabin is close to wine country, and Ithaca. The only drawback is the number of creepy crawlers. I would not rent the cabin if this is an issue.

A mixed experience

First, the good: the location is stunning, right on the lake. They have a huge dock for hanging out on, spaces for boats, kayaks to borrow, onsite laundry, unlimited bottled water, firewood, paper towels and toilet paper (unlike many other places which expect guests to furnish their own), plenty of heat sources and a/c, and extremely responsive owners. Each cabin has their own fire ring, table and a bench or glider under a covered area or porch that makes being outside possible even if it's raining. And the bath towels are phenomenal! Things to be aware of: cabins 1-4 are extremely small. The two bedrooms have full-sized beds (in #4) and just enough space on either side to get in and out. The living/dining area is tiny and the kitchen is barely adequate unless you aren't cooking at all. The cabin was passable for two people space-wise but two more people, even kids, would have been really uncomfortable. The bathroom needed a complete overhaul. Everything worked (except the toilet for a few hours but was fixed right away on a Sunday afternoon) but if you are a person of any size, you will be extremely uncomfortable in there. If the weather is beautiful and you can be outside for 90% of your waking hours and you don't want to cook much, this place would be fine, except for the bathroom. It looks like they are updating things. There is a brand new building for laundry and it has a couple of large, spacious bathrooms in it, I think for glamping and yurt guests. They are trying but just know what you are getting yourself into before you make a reservation.

Everything you need in a small cabin.

Steep stairs to the beautiful lake. Good exercise! Many beautiful waterfalls and wineries nearby. Owners were very accommodating!!!

Weekend Getaway

Great location. Cabin size was what we were expecting. Property Manager very quick to respond & provide solutions. Plenty of supplies; firewood, water, paper products.. Couple glitches: extra sensitive smoke alarms and small amount of hot water for showers. After one person, you have to wait 45 minutes for it to reheat. Also dishes & coffee pot needed to be washed before use. Beautiful spot & location to Ithaca was perfect. Liked the laid back atmosphere. Semi-private. Cabin is close by to other rental cabins

Perfect for an upstate escape

Whether you’re planning an active exploration trip or looking to enjoy the finger lake wineries, the cabins at the spotted sandpiper are in a perfect location to access it all. The rentals come with an impressive array of amenities in the common area, along with a private full kitchen and grill/fire pit. Perfect for recovering after a day out. Bathrooms have a more camp-like feel, in case you’re looking for more of a hotel/suite experience.

Great Cabin stay!

We stayed 3 nights with another couple. Weather was great so no need to hang indoors which would have been tight. Cabin was clean and tidy, no bugs during our stay. Access to the dock was nice. Pretty, hidden away spot though lots of other rentals in this area. Very peaceful little get away! Would definitely return.
