Gordy's Place är ett nybyggt hus strax utanför Sand Point Road, cirka 9 minuter till centrala Bar Harbor. Vår familj har besökt Acadia i flera år och köpte nyligen detta helt nya hem. Vi hoppas att du älskar det - och Acadia - lika mycket som vi gör!

I ett lugnt, nytt område är Gordy's Place en trevlig reträtt för din Bar Harbor / Acadia-semester. Njut av det privata uteplatsen medan du grillar i skogen utomhus eller värmer händerna över eldstaden efter dagen med vandring och strand. Bara en 5 minuters bilresa till huvudentrén till Acadia National Park, bara 10 minuters promenad till var du kan ta den fria Island Explorer-bussen. Gå till vattnet i den pittoreska lilla byn Salsbury Cove. Härliga boende för din familj och vänner!

Huset på 1500 kvm har ett vackert inredda vardagsrum, öppet kök med rymlig ö, matsal och 1/2 bad på första våningen. Det finns 3 sovrum (master king svit, drottning och ett sovrum med två tvillingar) på andra våningen. Det finns också ett komplett badrum och ett badrum med dusch endast på denna våning.

Till skillnad från många andra bostäder att hyra är denna fastighet färdiginflyttad. Ägaren tillhandahåller alla nödvändiga bekvämligheter för det dagliga livet, från pappershanddukar till tvättmedel till vävnader till schampo, tandkräm ... listan fortsätter. Du behöver inte oroa dig för att glömma något i bagaget när du besöker Gordy's Place!

Home away from Home

This is the best VRBO in Bar Harbor. The house has everything that you could ever need for a trip to Bar Harbor. It is like home away from home. The house is in a very quiet section outside of the downtown. But it is easy access to the main HWY.

Superb family home in Acadia

Gordy’s Place is exceptional. The home is very versatile in all amenities. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the MDI. The hosts provide everything you would need while exploring the island. I’m so happy I chose this as our home during our visit.

Fantastic getaway close to Bar Harbor

Great location just for a few minutes. Howes had Bar Harbor. Spent days riding bikes in a Acadia national Park through the 50+ miles of trails. Dinners mostly consisted of lobster rolls at a nearby roadside restaurant. We got them to go so we could eat them in Gordy’s beautiful home. Enjoyed sitting outside in the hammock, staring at the trees, relaxing in the afternoons.Gordy‘s place is very quiet and peaceful, so relaxing. This was our second time staying here. We were back after enjoying staying here for a week in 2021. Really like this house and a national park. Jean is a good host and checked in on us, but we had everything we needed.

Wonderful Vacation Home

Super clean, conveniently located, everything you need for a great vacation was provided. The owners respond quickly to any questions you may have and want to make sure you have the best experience in their home. My family has been vacationing in Acadia for over 20 years and this home was the most welcoming. Highly recommend this rental!

Amazing Spot

Jean and her family thought of everything. From extra toiletries to a bottle of wine to the printer, this home had more than we could have hoped for to make our stay comfortable. The thoughtfulness extended to detailed write ups of the many restaurants and activities in the Bar Harbor area, tupperware and coolers and ice packs for our trip to Acadia, and many unique touches throughout the home. We felt very fortunate to be there. It's a trip we will not forget!

Perfect Maine Vacation

Great location just a few minutes outside of Bar Harbor. Spent days exploring the park - hiking, sunrise, paddle boarding, sailing trip, exploring MDI. Dinners eating out in Bar Harbor or grilling in backyard. Evening camp fires with smores was favorite kid activity. House had everything we needed and host was very responsive with any questions. We look forward to a return trip in the future.

Wonderful property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Gordy's Place. The location was perfect for our family -- close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and yet a little off in its own space. Very comfortable, extremely well maintained and cared for, well stocked, and well labeled. Anything we could imagine we needed we were able to find easily. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful quiet home

Gordy’s place was a lovely house to stay in while on vacation in MDI. It was very clean, decorated really well- we loved the art on the walls- comfortable living room space, very quiet & stocked with just about anything you might need. The location was great for us. Jean was very responsive & super friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal Property

Book this house. It is so beautiful in every way. The kitchen is well appointed with literally everything you could need for cooking. It is a 5 minute drive to the main entrance of Acadia. Visiting the Park is a snap. Bar Harbor & Hannaford supermarket ten minutes. The house is clean and the host has everything explained with notes and directions. We loved it

Dear Jean Nothing but praise to you and your family for providing a exceptionally equipped kitchen, beautifully decorated, cozy comfortable sleeping arrangements, we’ll supplied bathroom facilities, enjoyable outdoor space and great music collection. Beautiful home, perfectly appointed, a true gem!

We had a wonderful week long stay. Jean and Bob’s home has everything and more you could want during your stay. The location is great, not right in town but very close and peaceful with a great outdoor space. Every detail is taken care of and there is plenty of space for a family plus grandparents (our group). Their recommendations were good and we are looking forward to our next trip to MDI.

Gordy’s place is amazing

We absolutely loved staying in Gordy’s place. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything you need for a good time (including chargers everywhere, AppleTVs, a home gym, hammocks, and a grill). The location is great too - under 15 minutes to downtown or Acadia. We are totally coming back next year.

A true home from home experience

We loved this property. Very well appointed with excellent facilities. Extremely relaxing sitting outside on an evening after a hike in Acadia or a stroll in downtown Bar Harbor. We realized our dream of buying a home here, and are happy to welcome you to it! We learned from all of our stays in Maine what makes for a relaxing, beautiful vacation home, and have used that to make our home perfect for your family.

You'll be hard pressed to find another property with all the stunning amenities, household items, and items for daily living that we provide at Gordy's Place. We have gone out of our way to make this home as well-stocked and furnished as possible, so you just need to bring yourself, your clothes, and some hiking shoes! We love pets—it is named after our dog Gordy, after all!—and welcome well-behaved pets into our home. It's tucked away at the end of a cul de sac, but just minutes -- a short bike ride even -- from the entrance to Acadia or the beach. We put our heart into this home, and know you'll love it as much as we do.
