Acadia National Park och allt som Bar Harbor har att erbjuda ligger inom gĂ„ngavstĂ„nd. Den vĂ€lutrustat kök som öppnar för en stor bakgĂ„rd, rymlig matsal och vardagsrum, utrustat med 42 i platt-TV, Video / DVD, stereo, kort och brĂ€dspel Ă€r pĂ„ första vĂ„ningen. ÖvervĂ„ningen har 3 sovrum, 2 med queen sĂ€ngar, ett med 2 enkelsĂ€ngar, badrum, plus en ungdom rum med ett pack och spela. PĂ„ bakgĂ„rden koppla av nĂ€r du tittar pĂ„ barnen leka, eller njuta av en omgĂ„ng badminton, brand upp gasgrill för en cookout och njut av din hummer middag i den friska salta luften. Efter middagen gĂ„r tvĂ„ kvarter för att lyssna pĂ„ en konsert pĂ„ Village Green eller blĂ€ddra i mĂ„nga affĂ€rer och butiker, till en annan tvĂ„ kvarter titta pĂ„ solnedgĂ„ngen över havet innan du kommer hem för att stoppa in för att vila upp för en annan dag för avkoppling och Ă€ventyr.


Acadia Escape ombyggda under 2008: Vi har gjort massor av uppdateringar till vÄra nyligen köpt hem. Alla fönster och dörrar har ersatts med energieffektiva lÄg e glas. En energisnÄl ugn ocksÄ installerat i Är för att hjÀlpa till med vÀxthusgaser och för din komfort. Elsystemet har ocksÄ varit helt uppdaterad pÄ alla sÀkerhetsföreskrifter, inklusive brandvarnare i varje rum för din sÀkerhet. I badrummet badkar / duschvÀgg har nyligen kaklat. De trÀgolv i vardagsrummet och Kalifornien furu golv pÄ hela andra vÄningen har alla varit slipas och lackeras. Liksom alla de ursprungliga trÀ dörrar.

2012 har vi uppgraderat, har vi lagt en 42 tums HDTV och nya dra ut soffan i vardagsrummet, Àven nya mattan i matsalen och nya golv i badrummet.

Tennislektioner gĂ„r: Augusti Lozano Ă€r en USPTA certifierad tennis professionellt. Jag har varit en undervisning pro pĂ„ Ellsworth Tennis Center i 10 Ă„r. År 2008 var jag rankad # 1 i delstaten Maine i 45 Ă„r och uppĂ„t. År 2006 var jag rankad # 1 pĂ„ 35-talet och 45-talet. Jag skulle vara glad att trĂ€ffa eller ge en lektion under din vistelse.

Acadia Escape

Property was very clean and as described. Had all the amenities needed for our week stay. It was very conveniently located and we could walk to most of the restaurants and shops in town. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great stay

Really nice stay. Perfect location smack dab in the middle of town. It definitely has a vacation cottage feel. Older, but charming and kept up nicely. Lots of space for everyone, and a really nice big backyard with off street parking. Highly recommend!

Great property and location

This property is in an amazing location for a trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Downtown Bar Harbor is a 5 minute walk away and Acadia is within a few miles drive. House is spacious with all the features/amenities you want in a home away from home. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our trip and this property was a great home base for our adventures. Hosts were also amazing with great communication. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Bar Harbor Property

Acadia Escape is a beautiful older home located within walking distance of the downtown shops and restaurants. We were glad to have off-street parking available, as parking in Bar Harbor can be a challenge. Augie and Maryellen were wonderful hosts, checking in with us shortly after our arrival. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose Acadia Escape again in the future!

Great location!

Super clean house, great location. It was exactly as pictured on the rental listing. Check in was simple. It is a great home base for exploring Bar Harbor (walk to everything!) and Acadia. We were so busy hiking, biking and enjoying the outdoors that we didn’t spend too much time in the house, but it was a relaxing and quiet spot for us to rest up for the next day’s activities. Definitely recommend! PS- Cafe This Way has the best pancakes!!

True New England charmer

We stayed a week-our second visit The owners were there to welcome us and to let us know that they or their representatives would be available for questions or problems The house is commodious and has too many thoughtful and considerate features for me to list Thoroughly clean-beyond any vacation house that we have rented. Plenty of parking, so you are able to walk everywhere in town. Hard wood floors, An excellent kitchen, gas grill, outdoor or indoor seating

We had a great time at Acadia Escape. The house is homey, very clean and comfortable. The backyard picnic table is great for a meal or just relaxing with coffee. The hammock was a nice addition. Kitchen had everything we needed and the laundry seemed like new machines. The location is incredibly convenient, walking distance to restaurants, but still quiet on the side street. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this property.The house was very clean and well equipped with everything necessary for a carefree vacation.The location was more than perfect. It was off the center of the town but close enough to shops and restaurants. Though at some distance so that we needed to walk to get to the Harbor Shore Path and other destinations. I have to mention the excellent shuttle service from the center of the town at Village Green to many destinations at the Acadia National Park.In fact, we had not touched our car from the day we arrives to Bar Harbor to the day we departed home. Thanks to the host who left many brochures about the town and surrounding, it made our vacation planning a bit easier. We did not come very well prepared, so the initial information was very helpful. Thank you, Audie also for the delicious blueberry jam that you left for us to taste one of the staples of Maine! All in all we left Bar Harbor carrying a memory of a beautiful vacation.

Perfect week away! Stayed with my husband, mother and mother in law. The home was exactly as pictured. Very well maintained and very clean. The home is in perfect walking distance to town and a very short drive to Acadia. Maryellen and August were very kind and accommodating. The home had everything you would need. We would love to stay here again in the furture. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing Maine getaway

We had a wonderful time here! Location was perfect and driveway was a huge plus. Easy walking distance to everything including a great park. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need. We loved the outdoor dining area and hammock. Backyard was great for kids to play as well. Host were great and super helpful. Overall wonderful stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Maryellen and Augie’s spacious home is in a perfect location. They are lovely hosts who well maintain their home to serve their guests. You can when the buses are running park your car and not use it until you leave.

Great stay, right in town

Comfortable, roomy house on a quiet street in the heart of Bar Harbor. Hosts Maryellen and Augie were great to deal with, and have thought of everything in terms of supplies - plates, flatware, utensils, cookware, spare towels, even a washer and dryer for long-term stays. The Town Green and Main Street, with its shops and restaurants, are just a short walk away. And off-street parking comes with the property! We can happily recommend staying here.

Cute house right in Bar Harbor!

This was a great house to stay right near Bar Harbor shops and restaurants and close to Acadia for hiking. We loved it.

Great Location

Loved being able to leave car in driveway and walk to town, or take the bus from the Village Green to the park. In busy times of the year, dealing with finding a parking spot is insanity, both in town and at the trail heads in the park. Less crazy about the only bathroom being upstairs, and the noise levels coming in from the street, even with windows closed. My knees were not happy to deal with the hike to the bathroom after hikes in the park. The stairs were well disclosed in the listing, however, and I simply did not anticipate them being problematic for our 60 ish year old knees.

The Convenience of In Town

Acadia Escape is well-equipped and convenient. It is a 5-minute walk to the town square and the bus system. Your hosts, Maryellen and Augie, are warm and concerned about your comfort. I highly recommend their rental home.

I Maryellen was born and raised in the area,graduated from Mount Desert Island High School in 1979. Augie grew up in New York City and Suffern NY and came to visit my parents before we got married and loved the area. We got married in 1992 and have been living in Bar Harbor since then. We know the area well and can help you with ideas for your vacation plans. We live next door to the house and are available if you need us.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We are located on a one way downtown residential street, so it is quiet yet we are one to two blocks of the main street with the restuarants and shops. We are one block from the island shuttle bus, so you can park in our driveway space for 3 cars and walk to everything. We have a bike rack for you to lock bikes, a large backyard, big grill and a table and with 6 chairs to enjoy meals outside. We also have a very well stocked kichen for you.

The house has plenty of space for your family to spread out and enjoy. We also have loads of information brochures, maps, menus in the house so you can plan your activities. We have lots of games availale also.
