This place was fantastic -- peaceful neighborhood, room to spread out and feel like home, comfortable, extremely convenient to Sea Pines, Harbor Town, Coligny Beach, restaurants, etc. While we didn't use the pool or the Shipyard beach access (since we were visiting family in Sea Pines and did the beach there), it was great that the pool was just across the road and it was a nice view out the back with the stream and golf course. It was very quick to go to CVS or pick up food, etc. and was very convenient for going to areas in Sea Pines (where you can, if you have the parking permit, park in a lot and take a trolley to drop you off at the beach). Bike lanes are nice and I wish I'd checked out what the process is for using beach access at Shipyard (parking, etc.) though you could also do Coligny Beach and park there -- but if you do Coligny, it's a very busy beach, parking was full, and it's a bit of a walk from that parking, which is across a very busy road and we had to park all the way at the park and get another family member to drop off/pick us up to shuttle us back to the car in the heat! There's probably a trolley option there we weren't aware of, though. I prefer a less crowded beach to Coligny. We will happily stay here again next time we visit. Recommendations: bring a few extra garbage bags if you don't plan to make a trip to the store anyway, and be warned that there's a lot of bright sunlight streaming into the master bedroom early in the morning, even with the blinds closed. Blackout or room darkening curtains would be great there! Or bring your own though the ceilings are high and it wouldn't be easy to pin them up there. Kitchen has both regular coffee pot and keurig, toaster, blender, microwave so that's very convenient. Not as "complete" in terms of extra utensils and such as if at home, but not too bad if you aren't doing a lot of gourmet cooking (so bring your own specialty things if you do plan to do that). Highly recommend overall!
