This house was great for our family of 3 plus the in-laws. Great location, nice pool, spacious, and very large rooms. Beautiful kitchen!! The Property Management company didn't manage the property very well, and I hope the Owners read this and do something about it for future renters! When we arrived, trash was thrown about the yard because an animal had gotten into the multiple trash bags that were left in the gated trash area. While we called to let them know, it still wasn't picked up for another 2 days, and of course animals got into it again, throwing more trash about the yard. The pool area was beautiful, but again, not kept up. Leaves and tree debris all over the patio and in the pool. Thankfully, there was a working hose, so we cleaned it all off, and got the debris out of the pool. The hot tub wasn't warm at all, but made for a great "small pool" for my little one. Pool towels would have been a nice touch, as the bath towels seemed old/dingy, and weren't really big enough to use as a pool towel. The coffee maker didn't work, and while one was delivered three days later (at 10:30am), the customer service on this alone was horrid. I made 5 phone calls to the property management company because they kept making promise after promise - including calling me back - and never followed through - NOT ONCE. I spent hours on hold/on the phone with different representatives. At some point, I was told "I am cooking dinner so I can't help you now." I was also told that "nobody works in Hilton Head on a Sunday." I was promised (again) that I would have a working coffee maker BY 9am the next morning. That same representative then told me how the calls I had made were showing up in their system, but they were entered incorrectly. Every time - really?! Not sure how every representative I spoke to entered it wrong, but he said he could see a trail of a big mess, and apologized. I was then told that someone would be calling to apologize and to "compensate" us because of how the trash and coffee maker were handled. No call. The coffee maker came at 10:30am, when we were walking out for the beach on our last day. Unfortunately, the house doesn't make up for the VERY poor customer service. For the sake of anyone who uses Vacasa, buyer beware.
