Perfekt läge för en vilsam tillflyktsort på en av de vackraste öarna i landet!

Vi är nya ägare till den här egenskapen och har gjort allt för att göra det till en speciell plats att koppla av och njuta av familj och vänner! Komplett med 3 sovrum och två badrum (ett bdrm och bad på huvudnivå och två bdrms och ett bad på övervåningen). Det stora sovrummet är enormt med ett däck, där utsikt över sundet och bergen är orörda! Det andra sovrummet på övervåningen sover fyra på en full säng med två våningssängar över och rulla. Det finns gott om garderober och förvaringsutrymme, och en helt ny dun soffa med drottning sovhytt (minne skum madrass) i vardagsrummet. Köket har granit- och rostfria apparater och är fullt utrustat med allt du behöver för att laga mat bekvämt. 3 TV-apparater med tillgång till TV och filmer. Vi är också på en plats där vi kan få snabbare internet med fiberoptik!

Den bästa delen av huset är trädgården som inkluderar en helt avskild inhägnad utrymme med stor badtunna, eldstad och däck för underhållande. Platsen är perfekt, eftersom stranden är ett kvarter på vägen, där det är enkelt att sätta i kajak! Downtown Eastsound är en kort mil promenad och erbjuder shopping och läckra lokala matställen parkering om du inte vill gå. 6 miles away är Moran State Park där det finns lämpliga vandringar för alla nivåer, simning, paddling ombordstigning etc.

Great beds and cozy house

My whole family was comfy and slept great. Access to beach and town was fabulous, house offered exactly what was advertised and host was responsive and kind. My husband said he felt we had found a hidden gem. We love Orcas and had a great visit, thank you!!

Cozy

This is the perfect home for our family to have a nice long weekend to relax. The kitchen was the perfect size and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a hit with the littles and adults. The beds were so comfortable, my youngest (7) said “it’s like a cloud hugging you and rocking you to sleep”. A short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise set and a cup of coffee in bed to watch the sun rise.Although we were there during the off season we had plenty to do inside with all the games that were provided in the home! Thank you for sharing this home with us Joy!

Orcas Haven Oasis Heaven on North Beach

Joy was an absolutely gracious host! Her beautiful home served not only as the staging area for a Healing Retreat held just down the road at Camp Orkila, but as reprieve after emotionally powered engagements. The space was not only beautiful and serene, but a very short walk to my favorite place on the entire island! Joy was so incredibly accommodating and everything was beyond what I could've expected. I found myself feeling at home, along with the others staying here. The beds and the space were EXACTLY what we needed! The energy in this home is so positively vibrational! Joy, we will return again! Thank you for everything you provided, at every level! Thank you for sharing your home and your light!

Tranquil Spot

Such a lovely home! Pictures are accurate but you can’t appreciate how peaceful and beautiful the grounds are until you are there. Water view from the upstairs balcony is awesome. Home is very well appointed. Beds are very comfy, kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels and blankets, lovely living room. We used the hot tub each day and it was nice and warm, very clean. Backyard is very private. Plenty of off street parking for several cars. I highly recommend and would gladly stay here again.

Welcoming, seamless stay

We had a wonderful stay over the weekend. The beach is a short walk away and it's tucked in a more quiet part of the island for morning runs. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to go. There were plenty of blankets for our movie night in the living room. The 3 bedrooms were very cozy. Would stay here again. Our group of 5 were comfortable here. Communication was excellent.

Beautiful property on the best island

I love Orcas Island and so I had my bachelorette party at this property. It was a 20 minute walk from town with beautiful views of the water and the beach. We always have an amazing time on the island.

Inviting Island Cottage

This property is inviting, quiet, well equipped, and comfortable. It is a two minute walk to a small public beach access where we saw a few local orca during our stay. The house is situated on a gorgeous lot with a wonderful, private backyard. Views from the private master deck are serene and lovely. The owner Joy was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was responsive, accommodating and kind. We enjoyed our stay. Would return for sure.

Convenient place to stay just outside of Eastsound

A quiet gem in Orcas

A perfect little house to rest and relax in. We loved the location of this A-frame best after staying in different locations on Eastsound. While we love the views of Buck Mountain, this A-frame provided us a prime place to see sunset at North Beach each night. The area was quiet, and we loved walking into town everyday. The owners were very sweet and came to clean the hot tub for us and even helped my son locate some marbles for a game in the house. We entertained friends and family here a couple of nights, and the big backyard was great for guests. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Last minute rental

We booked this home last minute for a work related weekend. Traveling with kiddos and having packed the bare minimum, Joy had a well stocked home with everything we could need and more. There were kind notes indicating what was available to use around the house, and it was all very comfortable. We will definitely use this rental home again on future visits!

Sunset views in hot tub heaven

What a great house this was for a family gathering. A block from the beach with amazing sunset views and great entertaining spaces in the garden with fire pit and hot tub (a big hit with the kids) as well as on the sea view balcony. A nice bottle of wine added to the welcome. Thank you Joy!

Amazing stay!!!

We had a much overdue family reunion on Orcas and needed somewhere to stay. We are soooooo glad we chose to stay here. Not only was it a short 5 minute trip to our family property but was perfectly located for everywhere that we went. The small touches at this property were definitely appreciated. There are soooo many but having towels in every room was an awesome touch. Every bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash for use. There were coffee pods, tide pods, a bottle of wine and firewood for the awesome fire pit. Fans in every room were great since it was warm while we were there. The sheets and bedding were soooo soft and the pillows comfy!! We would definitely love to stay here again!!!!!

Family Time

House was perfect for our family time with nephew and cousins visiting from Geneva. Deck off the master bedroom was perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxation watching the waves and birds! Kids enjoyed their time in the hot tub. Perfect location in Orcas Island.

The magic of the Sunset Ave

What a beautifully appointed house. The floors and bedding all appear to be new including the brand new sofa bed which my children slept on in the living room. my wife and I slept in The queen bedroom on the main level to be close to them, which has the bathroom immediately Adjacent to it. We also had access through patio doors to the large deck l, outdoor seat areas, and hot tub as well as fire pit in the beautiful backyard. My parents took the master bedroom in the upper level which was a little hot when we got there but we were also there in July and it never got above 70 so fans were provided to help cool everyone in their rooms as well as heaters throughout the house. My cousin and her boyfriend took the bunkbed room which had a bathroom immediately adjacent to it and my parents shared that bathroom on the second floor with them. The hot tub was fun and enjoyable although we only were able to enjoy it one night. He also unfortunately found a cabinet full of games the last morning we were there and wish we could’ve played them or done more puzzles but there were books and puzzles and games provided for family entertainment. The kids did use the TV to watch some cartoons which they enjoyed . The real highlight for us though was the short walk to the public beach at the end of the main road just a few houses from us. we spent many nights on the beach watching the sun disappear over Vancouver Island to the west and enjoying the beauty of orcas Island. My wife and I also spent the mornings running down the main street which I had a path that led to downtown Eastbound. The only drawback to this property may be its proximity to the airport but the planes did not bother us . On plus side we were also able to walk to a whale watching tour which left from a parking lot in the marina just to the west of us just a three or four block walk. highly recommend this tour as we saw sea otters , whales, and seals. Communication at the host was great and checking was simple and easy through a push button key holder and all in all I would highly recommend this property and highly recommend orcas island as a whole.

Wonderful home in a wonderful location.

Orcas island is beautiful and full of wonderful outdoor activities. I would definitely stay at this home again - great view from the master bedtime and wonderful back yard with a hot tub!

Great views and cozy home!

This was the perfect Orcas Island vacation home! Incredible views from the deck, fun backyard, close to town and the beach! The home is even better than the listing suggests. Very clean and comfortable and super well-stocked. Perfect for our family!
