We could not have had a better week!!! The cottage was quite possibly the best we’ve ever stayed in. So clean and had everything we could need. Even on the warmer days we were never uncomfortable, it gets a great breeze! The porch is heavenly, as is the view from the upstairs master. Our boys had a blast exploring the rocks and tide pools and our baby girl was content to play on the sand or the beautiful lawn. Just a short walk to the park and Surf Club which we did everyday and great restaurants so close as well. Hosts were super great and so kind, even offered to come bring the barrels to the street for us on garbage pickup day. We had so much fun and made the best memories! Been staying in Madison for decades and we hope this can be our new go to cottage for many years to come!! Love, the Franzosas

We had a fantastic time at this gem of a home. Everything you could ask for in a say at the beach. Well kept, clean, and private. Walk to several restaurants or Madison town center. Easy drives to other locations. Renee and Bryan were incredible communicators and very responsive.

Nice relaxing stay

Great long weekend with the family - walking distance to the downtown and restaurants. Property sits among multi million dollar homes. A simple, un-cluttered, cottage type house. Cozy!

Beach getaway

All three generations thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Having grown up in Madison, it was fun to stay in one of the original beachhouses I remember from my childhood, and to show my grandchildren around town. The kids particularly loved swimming and exploring the rocks and tidal pools - just as my siblings and I did so many years ago!

Wonderful beach cottage. Close to Madison Beach hotel. Had everything you need for a stay with family. Window ac’s upstairs were great for sleeping. Sip your morning coffee and admire the view!

Wonderful craftsman cottage on the water

This house is located right on the water, nestled between two larger houses. There are three bedrooms on the second floor with the master directly overlooking the ocean. We stayed on one of the hottest weeks this year so the air conditioners worked overtime and despite fans, the house was toasty during the day. The owners were very responsive to Al of our questions and came over when we had any questions. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Wonderful Stay

What a lovely cottage on the water. Everything was perfect. Very clean with simple, classic decor. Close to town. We visit Madison every summer to see friends and family. This was by far the best Vrbo! Didn’t want to leave. Looking forward to staying again next year.

July 4th week at Madison cottage.

We had a fabulous time. The cottage is adorable and equipped with everything for a great stay. The house was comfortable, very user friendly and couldn’t be a better location. We were lucky enough to get July 4th week with a spectacular view of the Madison fireworks! RenĂ©e and Bryan were perfect hosts and extremely communicative and responsive. We had a great week and we’d love to rent the house again!

Perfect relaxing vacation

Property was exactly as pictured, incredibly cozy and perfect for a relaxing vacation on the water. Coffee in the morning or snacks/cocktails in the afternoon on the front porch was wonderful. Kids enjoyed playing in the yard, on the beach and on the rocks in the ocean. Would stay here again without any hesitation.

Magical spot on the Connecticut coast

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. So close to town yet quiet and peaceful with our private view of LI Sound from the porch, the master and the kitchen. We had a family emergency and were still able to relax a bit by virtue of this gem of a home. Thank you!

We fell in love with the view and it’s proximity to everything Madison has to offer. Located on one of the best streets in Madison. Walking or biking distance to everything. This classic New England cottage has original charm and we knew we could keep the charm and add to it with our renovation. Plenty of room to park and beautiful lawn between home and the Long Island Sound.
