A beautiful home with an exceptional location and view. Owner quickly responded to any issues that needed addressing. Jacob's Beach was a great spot for all ages and directly across the street. The quaint downtown was a little over a mile and an easy walk from the house.

Beautiful property with open views of Long Island Sound. Deck surrounds house and is super quiet at night - so peaceful. The house is very, very well equipped with high end cookware and appliances, abundant linens, and pretty much everything you need to cook meals. Judy was quick to respond to questions. Great stay.

Fantastic vacation house with water views throughout the property and a short walk to Jacob's beach. The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable for two families. The playroom on the first floor was a great bonus with kids. Judy was an excellent host. She was readily available for any questions.

This home was in excellent condition. Everything was quite fine. Minor glitches were lack of hot pads & lack of a railing on either of the sets of stone steps. Loved the deck & watching the Osprey’s tending their chicks. Could not find an actual path to the beach.Overall excellent. Host very accommodating!

Thank you very much, and we are glad you were happy with the home. For readers, the beach 'path' is the sidewalk at the end of the driveway. You turn right and can immediately see the beach entrance just steps away at the end of the street (a dead-end). Two glove hotpads are located in the drawer under the main sink, very accessible.

We had a great stay! We appreciated the host leaving the Christmas tree and other festive decorations as we were staying over the holidays. The house was great as usual - we have stayed before - with enough room for everyone to spread out and nice places for everyone to gather. The host is always very responsive.

Great location near the beach

Beautiful home and Judy is a great host. Has everything you need and close to a nice little beach and playground. Nice views out over the water, good places to walk, explore the coast. We had a great getaway.

Family beach week

This was a return visit to this property that is just a short walk from Jacob’s Beach and park. This beach is great for children as it is protected from large waves and is shallow for a good distance out from the shore. The house has lots of toys for the children and plenty of room for everyone.

Fantastic Location - Beach, Water and New Haven

Stayed at this amazing home with my wife and 3 teenage daughters in summer 2017. Walking distance to the town beach and kayaking in the marsh outside the back door was phenomenal. This was a home much more than a vacation house with a beautiful kitchen, views to die for and furnishings that were comfortable in every room. Access to New Haven made this rental the perfect spot for a memorable family vacation.

Just perfect

Our stay at this property can only be described as perfect. My family and I all felt very much at home. The views are quite stunning and we all enjoyed the abundance of sea birds, particularly the family of ospreys. Many conveniences nearby. Highly recommend this property!

Great place

Great house with nice open layout in the living room, dining room kitchen area which made hanging out with our big group of 8 people very enjoyable. Well appointed kitchen, everything you need for the beach (chairs, towels), etc. Amazing views of the coastal area and the ocean. Communication with the host was very easy. Nice area to explore and enjoy. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure!

Beautiful home, excellent location with great views of the ocean. Beach access nearby with playground. Toys and activities for children. Well appointed kitchen. Town offers easy access to food and necessities. Some great little shops.

The water views from the house are beautiful. But it was a little unclear how to actually access the water. It turns out if you're willing to walk across the neighbor's lawn, there's a very nice trail to the beach. We mainly hung out at the house, doing a lots of cooking in the very well equipped kitchen and playing games and ping pong. The art work in the house was also interesting.

The town beach is easy to access by walking 50 feet on the asphalted driveway to the main road and crossing the street or by driving down the driveway, taking a right turn, and going 50 feet to the main entrance. You can see the sandy town beach from the living room. The guest accessed a smaller sandy beach adjacent to the town park, which is visible from the family room and kitchen.
