great view

Comfortable wonderful house with great views from the porch. Very reachable host; good communication. When power went out in a storm, she made the call and power company was there within the hour to clear the road and get pole, transformer, and wires back up quickly.

Great Weekend Getaway

Loved our stay at "Fancy That". Great view and the accomodations were very nice. It was a rainy weekend and the road down to the cabin was a little dicey but we didn't have any issues with a van. Nice kitchen and dining area. We didn't use the outside grill due to the weather but it was available. Clear, concise check in information and great food available just down the road in Fancy Gap! Really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

A well furnished and cozy cabin to stay in. Beautiful views and nature! The driveway could use some grading but otherwise a very nice place to stay.

Catching up with friends large

Had a great time in this spacious cabin with friends. The cabin is clean and comfortable. Plenty of liens and dishes. Cabin location was quiet and isolated. My best advice is to stay 2 weeks, 1 week for sightseeing and 1 week to sit on that wonderful porch.

The property is very nice. Super clean. Beautiful view. But I'd like to mention that the short gravel road to the house, in our opinion, requires an SUV or truck. And the beds are very firm. Otherwise, we enjoyed our trip at Fancy That

We Really "Fancy That"

Fancy That is a warm, welcoming spot that offers a wonderful home as well as breathtaking views south into NC, including Pilot Mountain. The owners have taken great care to ensure that every amenity that you could imagine has been furnished, allowing for a most comfortable stay. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay!

The property had everything we needed especially for my sis with limited mobility issues. D even called the Florida flatlands to warn of snow and see if we needed to reschedule. She was very in touch with us and even gave us some local sightseeing info. If ever back there, I would definitely fancy that experience again. 10 out of 10

Fantastic Fall Trip

Totally enjoyed the rest & relaxation while overlooking Mt Airy from Fancy That cabin at Fancy Gap. Home is extremely clean. Owner has thought of everything you might need. You need only bring yourselves and food. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware & dishes. Beds are comfortable with plenty of extra linens & blankets. Lots of nice extra touches make you feel right at home. There were 3 couples staying on our trip. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. We especially enjoyed the screened porch! Thank you Denise for your hospitality. We appreciate you sharing your warm & cozy home with us! We would love to stay here again!

Girls get away

My daughter and three of our friends needed a beautiful quiet place to recharge and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place. The views are amazing and the home itself is beautiful. Everything that we could have possibly needed was there , clean , comfy just like being at home . Entering Fancy That feels like walking into a friend's mountain house...nothing fancy but you feel right at home. The views are phenomenal...gorgeous sunrises and sunsest enjoyed on the screened front porch.
