Två sovrum och två badrum ligger på huvudnivån, ett sovrum och ett badrum i den lägre nivån, spel och TV-området i lägre nivå. Bekvämt beläget till Mayberry / Mt. Airy, Chateau Morrisette och alla vingårdar, Hills loppmarknad, Galax Fiddler konvention, Floyd Fest, Devils Den och bara vanlig söt naturen.

Besluta att bara koppla av och njuta av utsikten eller bege dig ut för kajakpaddling, slangar, cykling, vandring, fiske och golf plus mycket mer. The main expectation was the long range view and it was beyond expectations! Loved sitting on the large deck and taking it all in. Plus being able to bring our lab. We golfed at Old Mille and wine tasted at various Vineyards. Very wonderful stay and hope to come back next year. Kitchen well equipped, we brought most of our food.

Great views, of course. The cabin is bigger and more comfortable than the pictures made it appear. Our group had a quiet relaxing stay, and our dogs did too. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to cook several meals. The only negative was that there was a bear visit overnight on the last night, and it took the outdoor trash can and scattered the contents across the yard. It also took at least one whole bag of trash that we could not find. I let the property manager know, and she assured me that this is not common, and she has ordered a bear proof garbage solution. So just be aware and be safe, there are bears in the area that are accustomed to getting into human trash. Other than that incident, the stay was great.

Well kept cabin. At the end of the drive and usually very quiet. Best thing is the wonderful porch and the spectacular view! Our only complaint is that the mattress in the bedroom on the porch side of the house is a little worn out. The other upstairs mattress was fine,

Great Getaway

The house is well off of the main roads but easy to access from I-77. The layout was perfect for us. The covered porch and the views were awesome.

Life in the clouds

I want to explain, we were surrounded by torrential downpours and thunder storms 3 of our 5 day stay. If I had to be trapped in a cabin I would choose this one! Luckily we had all our food and supplies with us. We left after day 3. The host is very nice and felt terrible about the weather but certainly can't fix mother nature. We had stayed there once before and would go again. Cabin is beautiful and clean and has everything you could need.

Relaxing getaway in the clouds

Another amazing stay in Fancy Gap! If you want to feel right at home, this is your cabin. It was just my husband, myself and our two fur babies enjoying the many amenities this cabin has to offer. We are game lovers and were so excited to find numerous games and a game table to play them on! We cooked most meals in and everything we use to prep meals in our kitchen, we were able to find easily. The views are amazing and the deck furniture is very comfortable. The peacefulness this cabin brought to us over a long weekend is something we were so appreciative of. Thank you Karen for being a GREAT host!! Joey & Lisa

Great place to relax!

The view is marvelous, and the cabin is spacious and welcoming. It is easy to feel right at home here! Cell service in the area is iffy, but the WIFI in and around the cabin was great. Easy drive to the cabin from I-77, but really quiet and secluded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and look forward to returning for more relaxing times!

Annual Family Reunion

This was our second annual reunion at this wonderful, fully equipped cabin with incredible views. The only negatives are that the bed in the master bedroom won't stay against the wall, so the pillows fall into the gap, and the print hanging in the master bath is a pedophile's delight that should be replaced with something more appropriate.

Outstanding location

We spoke with the owner due to the Hurricane Helene. She stated she was in contact power company and was hoping for the power to be on. We arrived and with luck it was. The place was great, location, size of the home, and the view. We were able to locate a food store not knowing if the items in the refrigerator were still good. We saw some sites and went to a few of the stores that did have power. We would recommend this location one of the best we have been at in the past 7 years. Thank you so much we had a blast.

Celebrating God's healing

Our stay was with 2 brothers and 1 sister snd their spouses. We were celebrating the goodness of God, who blessed us with a donor kidney in March 2024. We had stayed in the cabin 3 years ago and it didn't disappoint. The views are wonderful and the cabin is well appointed. We had a wonderful time. Planning to come again. Communication with the host was easy and received timely responses.

For several years I was a mortgage officer and afterwards a Realtor in Fancy Gap. I came to Carroll County for a day and hope to be there for a lifetime. We love the yard , the porch and the view along with the close proximity to so many festivals, history and events

The view is worth a million dollars.This was an excellent investment and the temperature is always at least ten degrees below any place else within miles. Our home is with-in an 1.5 hrs drive. We are only five miles down the Parkway from Hwy. 52. and convenient to Hwy. 77. Just read our over 100 5.0 reviews.

No road noise and peaceful breathtaking views. I've also enjoyed the wildlife; everything from wild turkeys to deer. And the wild flowers and vegetation are like nowhere else. Southern exposure provides a quick melt for the snow along with being off of the school bus route, providing year round pleasure.
