FamiljevÀnlig fjÀllstuga med fantastisk western utsikt i gated community.

VÀlkommen till Mountain Majesty, eller som vi gillar att kalla det ekorrehuset! Detta hem byggdes 2007 och har anvÀnts som ett fritidshus. VÄr familj hyrde det vid flera tillfÀllen och blev kÀr. Vi fick nyligen möjlighet att köpa hemmet och gjorde det utan tvekan. Den vÀlkomnande samhÀllet, den spektakulÀra utsikten och den mysiga stugan kÀnns allt du behöver kÀnna dig som hemma.

VÄrt hem sover 10 personer bekvÀmt, med utrymme att koppla av och leka inifrÄn och ut. Njut av de fantastiska dÀcken - ett tÀckt huvuddÀck med vippor som sveper runt till ett stort dÀck med picknickbord, gasgrill och fantastisk utsikt vÀsterut till Blue Ridge Mountains samt Mount Mitchell. Tre av sovrummen har Àven privata balkonger - det perfekta stÀllet att fly för lugn och ro. PÄ huvudnivÄ matsviten ingÄr ett extra lÄngt badkar för dig att strÀcka ut och koppla av. Den nedre vardagsrummet innehÄller ett biljardbord, fotbollsplan och en garderob full av filmer och brÀdspel för att göra din vistelse rolig oavsett vÀder.

VÄrt hem ligger utanför Interstate 40, utanför Morganton och Marion, NC. Det finns sÄ mycket att göra inom en radius pÄ 30-60 mil: bryggerier, vingÄrdar, shopping, vandring och mer! Vi hoppas att du besöker Mountain Majesty - aka Ekorre Nest.

The cabin was absolutely amazing. The wrap around pouch looking over the mountains could not be captured in pictures. What a view. We had a lot of cooks and the kitchen handled everything we needed it to.

Views for sunset are wonderful on the back porch. Coffee and deer watching on the side porch in the mornings was nice also. Grandview peaks is a great neighborhood to relax and enjoy the Views. My family enjoy it yearly. Simple check in and communication with the owner was good. House is very well stocked.

This cabin was perfect for our family holiday vacation. Ages 10 through 73 were comfortable and very pleased with their stay. We will be back to this location for sure!

Our family had a relaxing stay at this cabin. We hiked, fished at the lake, and relaxed in the rocking chairs every day. The cabin had everything we needed.

Fantastic Christmas stay

Beautiful views abound at this property. This was our first Christmas that we spent away from home and it was such a great experience, the kids are ready to do it again. The home is very well appointed, comfortable and the decorations were beautiful and just right to make it feel like a home away from home. Communication was great and the check in process was very easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Very Impressed

We were looking to spend Thanksgiving away from home and this place was perfect. The views, the spacious cabin, etc were all spectacular. Gorgeous view and property!

This is a beautiful home with a spectacular view of the mountains! We loved the rocking chairs on the porch for morning coffee, and also for sunset wine. The home is spacious, with a full bathroom and bedroom(s) on each floor. Ken was incredibly helpful and responsive. We loved our stay!

Amazing

We went to the cabin for my daughter's 5th birthday and had a lot of fun. Even though it was foggy and cold the whole time the cabin is extremely cozy with lots to do and plenty of space.

Relaxing Mountain Stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Squirrels Nest and the house was beautiful. The hosts had thought of everything and were so accommodating. We loved the porch/balconies and the rocking chairs were the perfect way to enjoy the sunset and sunrises. Our group already is talking about coming back next year! We traveled with 5 kids under 5 and the house layout and accommodations helped to make our stay enjoyable as parents.

A lovely long weekend

Beautiful property with a view

Enjoyed our stay for our family vacation, great views and close to Lake James for boating and swimming. One small problem that was out of everyone’s control. House was big and enough room for everyone to enjoy time together or spread out if you wanted to. Outdoor access to decks on every floor and lots of games and movies for the young ones. Would stay again. Great value for the money.
