Best host ever

The property was great and Judy the host made the stay perfect. One of the most caring gracious people I’ve met. She was quick to respond and help with anything needed. The pool, hot tub, lake, and outdoor kitchen made everything wonderful. Highly recommend staying here.

Cozy cabin

Our stay was very relaxing. The cabin was equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing trip. Beds are comfortable and the fishing is good! We really liked the hot tub and outdoor kitchen.

Anniversary Trip

Quick trip to celebrate our anniversary, really enjoyed our stay! Judy decorated for us and got us a big brownie to enjoy. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and played a lot of pool. Great stay!

Simply a great place to stay

We had short but fantastic stay. I wish we could have stayed longer to use all the amenities. The cabin we stayed in was so cute, so charming, so very comfy! It had everything we could want and need! Everything was thought of and done in a thoughtful manner, like bowls for our pets left out, and the cabin all nice and cool for us. I cant even begin to describe how sweet, kind, and welcoming the owner is. We were welcomed like family and shown around the property, the swimming pool area is gorgeous, like a tropical oasis,. A second cabin and RV are also for rent. Nice quiet neighborhood, kyacks, and our hot tub was the best, especially at night with the tiki and twinkle lights. Kudos to the owner on the atmosphere and upkeep. Truly a hidden gem!!

Best stay ever!

If you’re looking for a perfect getaway, this is it! Judy was an absolute delight - so caring and attentive. The house is stocked with everything you might need, is so fun and laid out with room for relaxing and family togetherness. You are right by the lake, it is a beautiful spot and so calm and relaxing. I could have stayed for months! There is not enough room for me to describe and express how amazing Judy and her getaway house is. We will 100% be back!! Thanks for everything, Judy!!

Amazing Getaway

Our stay at the Texas cabin was great. Judy was very helpful with the check in process and all the accommodations. We were greater with fresh cookies and hot chocolate. The hot tub was the highlight of the trip.

Tropical Oasis w/Comfy Cabin

We had an amazing family vaycay! Hostess with the mostest Judy has thought of every little detail! The king size bed was dreamy, resort-style pool, gorgeous sunrise each morning, and a campfire with s’mores each night!

Perfect boys trip

Me and my two sons came down to enjoy a boys trip. Plenty of fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Mrs. Judy was an amazing host and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Cool place!

Very comfortable. We went fishing and cooked our catch using the outdoor kitchen, which was awesome. Judy greeted us with a smile and a tour of the property. At night she had the fire pit ready to go for us.

July Get Away

My family and I had a wonderful time. The property is easy to locate and stores are just a few minutes away. The cabin, pool, and grounds were clean and neat. Cabin is also well stocked with essentials. You really only need to pack clothes and groceries. Mrs. Judy is very very kind and available for anything you need. She made us feel like we were family. We love her and will definitely visit again.

Best hostess

Awesome location with a quick walk to the water. Several options to cook indoors and out. Spacious home with a very cozy vibes. Judy is an incredible hostess who was accommodating in every way imaginable. Not a dull moment with the lake, gorgeous swimming pool, pool table, TV with cable and dvds, a fire pit, and opportunities to enjoy music at every part of the property. We will be back, for sure!

Quiet and Relaxing

In a quiet and relaxing area. The cabin was comfortable with anything we needed available. Owners live on the property and were helpful and available immediately. We took our 3 large dogs with us and they had a blast. There's a Lower Colorado Recreation Area not far from here with a semi-secluded beach where they can just run and play. At the cabin we hooked the dogs up to their long leads when we grilled outside/relaxed. We enjoyed the pool table inside and had the option to watch Directv as well.

Best 1st Cabin Experience for 4 Adults!

Judy was a great host! We lacked for nothing! She was always available for questions. She also provides a list of things to do, places to visit and places to eat in the area! She was more than helpful and willing to accommodate any activity as she provided some fun toys for the lake! Judy really made us feel welcomed and at home! The cabin was very clean and had everything you could possibly need and then some. Beds were super comfortable and there’s plenty of them in the bigger cabin. Plenty of outdoor space to hang out at if your staying in. The area is quiet and was perfect for bird watching! We are looking forward to visiting again and staying at this cabin!

Our Stay..

You will find all reviews for this property are great and I couldnt tell you anything different. Ms. Judy is truly a great lady. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was nothing but magnificent! The cabin was beautiful and literally had EVERYTHING you need. Her property is beautiful, the pool the lake access and yard was something out of a magazine. Even the surrounding neighbors were welcoming. My family really enjoyed ourselves and are wanting to make this an annual trip! I would recommend this property for families and anyone that enjoys and appreciates nature and hospitality at its finest!! Thank you again Ms Judy, you are the best!! Thanks for having us

Everything you want and more.

My wife and 3 small children stayed at this cabin for our spring break vacation. I knew the cabin would be great from the listing and the other flattering reviews. The host, Judy, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. She opened a line of communication from the moment I booked the property, which was very helpful as I began preparing for our trip. When we arrived, she greeted us with fresh homemade cookies and she proudly showed us around the property. She drove us down to the lake in her golf cart and she let my 9 year old son take the steering wheel for a while which he thought was the greatest. Each day of our stay she would reach out via text message to see if we were enjoying ourselves and if we needed anything. She offered to drive us to the lake on her golf cart but, we never took her up on the offer because the walk was so short and we enjoyed the scenery anyway. The restaurants we dined at were also at her recommendation and we greatly appreciated that. She gave us the right balance of privacy and accessibility. She made us feel like family. The cabin itself was exactly what we wanted. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The backyard was perfect for my kids and dogs to run around and play in. We loved the fire pit and the s’mores we roasted. The pool table was also a highlight of our whole experience. We visited Inks Lake State Park and Longhorn Cavern State Park, which were truly breathtaking. I have no criticism to offer on this review. Well, I wish the weather was a little warmer. We definitely would have spent more time on the kayaks and cooking on the cool outdoor kitchen if it weren’t so cold outside. Overall, this was a terrific vacation spot and my family will remember this spring break forever. The next tenet will not be disappointed.

Hit the LOTTO with our very 1st VRBO Stay & with Hostess Judy

Where to start, smile. From start to finish, our stay was just exactly what I'd hoped. Hostess Judy's communication is impeccable. She texted several times prior to our arrival and we spoke by phone, too! I instantly knew the right decision about our first VRBO experience was affirmed. In fact, her warm, welcoming, big love, and vivacious energy made me feel like she was already family. I felt informed, educated, and made to feel like the most important customer on her agenda. We arrived just as the big storm hit. Judy welcomed us in her golf cart with a beautiful smile and hugs - and an umbrella. She thinks of everything!! We scurried into the most charming little house, perfectly appointed with beautiful lighting and an ambiance to say, "We're so glad you are here." We scooted into her golf cart for a tour of the property and she made it oodles of fun for the kiddos. She hung a Happy Birthday banner for my daughter and even had cheesecake with strawberry swirls and candles. Oh my goodness, my heart smiled in a grand way. We settled in and I marveled at everything I saw. The place was cozy, with a wonderful clean aroma, and I could easily surmise the love that went into preparing for our arrival. The kiddos loved the bunk beds and of course, my bed felt as though I was sleeping on a cloud. The kiddos swam and kayaked and frolicked around without a care in the world. The kayaks were plentiful and there was #KayakChoice - who knew, smile. The pool table was used a whole lot, games on the shelves were played, and a huge bonfire was made the next evening - perfect for smores. Fun facts: It's only eight (8) miles from Kingsland, where the local HEB is, and at sunset, you must go to the High Point, up the road to take in the majestic colors. There's an excellent chicken spot - Krispy Krunchy Chicken - at the Valero store in Kingsland. It's a must-try plus the locals love it!!! Our Great Pyrenees was happy soaking in the cool night breeze and birds bathed in the bird baths. The night lighting made it even more picturesque. After our two-night stay, we left with smiling hearts, vowing to return for another special occasion. I can on and on and on (smile) but hopefully, this gives the next prospective guest a flavor of our experience. My goal was to create lifelong memories and I do believe it was a resounding success.
