It was just as described. A finished basement with enough beds to accommodate my family on our trip. As a bonus, there were books, games and puzzles available, as well as some other extras that made it feel more like a home instead of just another place to sleep. GREAT view of Pikes Peak from the entry!

Short trip

This worked well for us- plenty of space for 4adults, plus full kitchen and washer & dryer. We really only needed a place to sleep but it seems this place had more to offer - games, books, projector. Good communication with the hosts.

Home away from home!

This place is amazing. Our top favorite place to stay in all of our life. Would definitely come back if we are ever out this way again. They had everything we needed. We were able to cook all week and save on food costs. They had lots of extras in case someone forgets something. My kids loved the toys and video options. The tether ball outside was fun. Communication was prompt and check in was super easy. Truly a home away from home!

Birthday Trip

Overall we were very pleased wirh our stay, our hosts were very gracious in amenities and comfort for every age guest. The had a crib, bunk beds a play room and guest bathroom. I was extremely great full for the choices in coffee. The highlight of the stay was the mountain view and the quitness from the hustle and bustle of city life but close enough to a town full of things to do. Walmart was 10 min away and 30 min from manitou springs or 40 min from the Colorado gorge. You wont regret your stay.

We loved the owners, the area and all the activities surrounding this beautiful place! We had the best time and this was the perfect stay for us. Spacious suite that was exactly as advertised. Owners pulled out all of the stops remembering just about every incidental thing you may have forgotten and providing. There were even toys for the kids and an Atari.

Great Place for Families

We had a wonderful stay. My family really appreciated that it was geared towards families with young children. The crib, diaper changer (with diapers!) and the toys were extemely helpful and made our stay more relaxing. The views were amazing and the hosts made several recomendations for restaurants that all turned out to be great. Everything was very clean and they had everything we needed. Thanks again for a much needed relaxing week in the mountains.

Great place to stay!

Property was easy to find and access. I underestimated the size of the apartment...it is HUGE! Although there was only two people in my party, the apartment could easily accommodate ten people. The amenties were outstanding and anything you might need is within a ten minute drive. The view will leave you speechless! The only improvement I can suugest to make the property even more perfrct would be the addition of a washer/dryer. Vogel's View is absolutely a home away from home!

The Mountain View is even better than pictures can show! The Vogels are gracious and generous hosts who have really thought of everything. The beds are comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. Five stars all the way!

lil getaway sort of

the water was contaminated with sulfate, they left two bottles of water for you to drink during your 3 night stay. the projector didn't work after the first night. it seemed as if nobody had rented in awhile because there was dust and bacteria all over the towels & dishes. wanted to grill but no way to work it, nothing to wash dishes with, took me an hour to figure out how to work the shower,mf if you did take a shower you would be greeted by very old soaps and shampoos. over all it was mid, me and my friends got high and drunk enough to enjoy the stay but that's about it.
