Beautiful bay view

The whole living room and kitchen have beautiful bay views. The kitchen is big and well equipped. The bed upstairs was very comfortable. We had some issues when we tried to dispense water out of the refrigerator. It didn’t come out of the spout and pooled on the floor. We let the host know and did not use it. They were responsive and confirmed they received the message.

Amazing View

I have visited the Oregon Coast my entire life and even have a home in the neighboring town of Garibaldi. I spent countless hours on the bay and I can't say I have ever seen a view of the bay and garibaldi quite like this one. The view aside it was a great place to hang out have some dinner and just chill with friends for a few days. I highly recommend.

Ghost Hole

The home is an older home with big rooms and lots of updating. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed. The views were amazing. On the downside, there are numerous maintenance issues that we were told the owner was waiting for a "convenient time to repair". They weren't major, but wouldn't take long at all to fix. Also, the deck is huge and has a lower covered deck for when it rains, but there is no outdoor furniture or grill, so be sure you bring your own chairs if you want to sit out there.

Great little place

Had a quick weekend getaway and this place was perfect. Only thing I would say is when arriving at the home…. The driveway looks like you are not supposed to turn in. Has a drop that is a little hard to see. But no worries you are at the right spot!!!! Amazing views. We will be back soon.

View was amazing, but the house could use some upgrades

Our family could not get enough of the awesome view of the bay from the deck. That being said, the house was not very clean. The carpet looks very dirty and there were quite a few dishes in the cupboard that were dirty. This wouldn't have been so bad except the downstairs bed is smaller then a standard queen and very uncomfortable. We ended up sleeping on the hard futon upstairs. I hope the owners make some upgrades, because the location of the home was awesome and we'd love to have that view again sometime!

I would like a refund

First of all it was really hard to find. We went through the VRBO website and it took us up the road and stopped in the middle and that was supposed to be where it was, but it was just forest. Then after asking several people who lived in the area (multiple stops) we finally found it. It had a gorgeous view of the bay but the house needs a lot of updates on the outside, and inside. It also is very musty smelling. The outside really needs attending to and it was very dirty on the inside. My daughter and I both got sick and there is no other way we could have gotten it because we only went out to the cove and we were very well bundled. I had to clean the front room myself and I had to scrub the main bathroom. The lower bathroom had a GIANT spider living in it. Oh I forgot to mention when we finally found the property there was no key in the lock box. I had to call the vacasa phone number (thankfully there was a second key in another lockbox that worked) luckily I had a phone and the service was working at that time ( yes the service was so incredibly terrible that to order something I resorted to the landline, which it was also very bad. We called to see if we could stay an hour or so after check in, but the lady on the phone declined because they had housekeeping arriving at 10 am exactly, we stayed for about 15 mins just to see when someone would get there, we decided to stop waiting and get on the road. It was very unfortunate that we could not stay a little longer because we could not check in until 4pm, and the nice cleaning lady was not done even when we got there. I am not happy with this stay. I normally love Vacasa homes, but this is not up to your normal par. Also there was barely any of the normal essentials you would assume a cared for house would have like condiments, enough towels, cleaning supplies ( in case something needs cleaning), working ice dispenser. MICROWAVE DID NOT WORK. Just very upsetting and we are so busy that I could not reply until now. okay something else. I had an online class that I have to do and I could do nothing because the wifi was not working most of the time. I think I may be dropped at least a grade because I could not get the work in on time. SO please either compensate with another stay somewhere else, or refund the money. Thank you.

Garibaldi in July

House has a beautiful view of the bay. Clean and comfy. Outside lots of road noise or when windows are open- door lock was very stubborn. Enjoyed the area and Garibaldi town.

Gorgeous view

The view of the bay is amazing. The 101 is right in front of the house, so it’s loud, but we got used to it fairly quickly. There’s not beach access, but it’s ok, there are tons of places within a short drive. My only huge complaint was the cleanness of the place. I don’t think I ever stayed at any Airbnb or VRBO properties and was straight up disgusted to touch anything. The beds and bedding smelled like they came straight from a second-hand store and never been washed. I’m kicking myself for not washing everything the first night as I could not fall asleep making sure I don’t touch the blanket.. it’s not something I want to do when I am on vacation and pay a hefty sum with all kinds of cleaning fees. I ended up washing master bedroom sheets and everything that could come off the bed and was finally able to sleep without the awful BO and mold smell. As I was washing the bed throw, you could see how brown and nasty water was.. gross

Loved our stay!

I read a couple reviews that complained about the smell of the home. When we walked in to the home, we thought this place just smelled like an older home that was nestled next to the ocean, and it was not bad at all. The furniture matched the ok’d style of the home, and the view from the huge windows was exactly what I expected and hoped for. The king size bed was comfortable and the open space of the kitchen and living room was awesome. Although the couch was a little uncomfortable, the swinging chair made up for it. We would absolutely stay here again!

It looked as if it hadnt been cleaned. Has a definite rodent problem. Outside is not well kept.

It has a nice view but I feel like it was overpriced for the condition it was in when i arrived. Uncleaned, rat crap all over and the fridge smelled like nasty fish. Got kinda ripped off.

Unbelivable View

With a view like that it just didn't matter...… Great house and so quiet even above 101. The only thing that was notable was it wasn't 100% clean and never pull down the driveway with a large boat..... Very tight... We really enjoyed it...
