After spending an exhilarating day hiking Old Man’s Cave and Cedar Falls, come back and unwind at this cozy, secluded cabin filled with luxurious amenities. The cabin boasts 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a twin-over-full bunk bed in the finished basement. Prepare a bite to eat in the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, cozy up to the fire to watch the big game or head down to the rec room for family game night! Want to take the relaxation outside? Take a dip in the hot tub, relax around the outdoor fire pit or simply take a seat on the wrap around porch!

Beautiful house and property.loved staying here. It could use better lighting in the house, but it worked.Only downfall the kitchen cabinets and drawers were so full of mouse droppings, but we cleaned them and did not have any other issues.

It was difficult for some of us who wanted to stay up late because the loft bedroom was so open. The refrigerator took time to get food cold enough. We really enjoyed the decks and hot tub. It was a beautiful setting.

Cabin is beautiful, clean, and private. Everything as stated. And the experience of Hocking Hills is wonderful!As an fyi to future guests, there are no stores nearby, so pick up your supplies before you get to the area.

Absolutely perfect cabin in Hocking Hills

Couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay here. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a getaway with four adults and four kids. Close to hiking and everything else HH has to offer. Would highly recommend this cabin!

Great Stay

My friends and I had a great weekend getaway at the cabin. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and kitchen area for preparing meals together. Definitely recommend.

The cabinet was spacious enough for the amount of guests it can accommodate. We enjoyed it enough that I would use again and will probably do so.

Girls weekend

We booked this cabin for my best friend’s 40th birthday and we’re not disappointed. The cabin was decorated for the holidays, and unexpected surprise. It was the perfect size for four ladies, we all had our own space. The cabin was as advertised, if not cuter. I would say the “spices“ included should be supplemented if you’re planning on cooking, and some of the pots and pans needed a clean before we use them. This was no big deal and we absolutely loved our stay. We plan on re-booking this cabin for future trips.

Peaceful area and beautiful setting

When we first pulled up we wondered what this was going to be like because we were greeted by a lot of overgrown weeds around the property making it look unkept. The inside was beautiful though. We have pretty high standards so it wasn't as clean as we would like but nothing bad at all. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and cozy. We had issues trying to figure out the cable and the host responded promptly when we called her. In fact, she was more prompt than I was. I enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. The area around the cabin is beautiful and very peaceful. I watched a deer walk by one morning as I sat outside doing my morning prayers and exercises. The fire ring and hot tub were nice as well. I didn't get inside the hot tub because of an injury so I can't comment much on that, but the others seemed to enjoy it. When we did our cooking, I think the others said the place had lots of items for use. Very well stocked. I'm assuming it had most everything. Again, I wasn't able to help much in the kitchen but I never heard anyone say they wish they had a certain item (except more towels and potholders). Oh yeah, the refrigerator is HUGE so it holds lots of food for the group. I would definitely recommend this place. I was only on the main level because of not doing stairs well, but it was definitely a beautiful place. You won't be disappointed.

This was an ok kitchen but couldn’t reach cabinets to put items in or take them out. No extra towels or extra dish rags. Fire pit was nice. Having a spa tub in one bathroom made it inconvenient for showering. Had to double up on bathrooms with showers. There were plenty of deer to see and location was private. Bathrooms didn’t have any counter space for curling iron etc.

Having both grown up in Ohio, we visited Hocking Hills many times in our youth and grew to love the peacefulness and tranquility the area offers, while still being close to the city. We wanted to share our love of the great outdoors with our children and provide them with a home-away-from-home to explore and let their curiosity run wild. Whitetail Pines is a relaxing retreat for our family in the beautiful Hocking Hills area and we hope you will love it as much as we do.
