Detta hem ståtar med södra charm! Shiplap väggar finns i alla vardagsrum / matsal, kök och alla 3 sovrum. Tenn taket i köket, läderbänk i granit, bottenvåning, nya skåp och rostfria apparater ger hemmet en charm och modern funktionalitet.

Badrumskålarna var professionellt tillverkade av återvunnet lammträ från familjebonden utanför Cisco, TX. Bordskivorna har läder granit och skryter av bondgårdens charm.

Hemmet sover nio. Det finns tre sovrum och två badrum. Det främre sovrummet har skräddarsydda hantverk, dubbla XL-sängar med träfunktioner. Det finns en dubbel XL utdragbar trille. Det mellersta sovrummet har en järn queen size-säng. Det bakre sovrummet har en skräddarsydd drottning säng med tennplattor och ladugårds trä funktioner. Det finns en skräddarsydd, tillverkad 75x30 säng i ryggen sovrummet (tvillinglängd, men cot bredd säng), utformad efter Robert Redford Sundance Catalogue "Carla" Bed. I vardagsrummet finns en ny bäddsoffa med dubbelsäng, utdragbar säng, med en memory foammadrass. Alla nya sängkläder, kuddar och madrasser på varje säng. Extra sängkläder tillhandahålls.

Köket hushållsartiklar inkluderar Fiesta matsal ware, nya glasögon, bestick, krukor och kokkärl, bakeware, handdukar. Njut av din morgon med kaffe från det nya Keurig K-Cafés specialtillskott med en frother som värmer! YUM!

Vardagsrummet har en 50-tums plattskärms-TV med direkt-TV. Det mellersta sovrummet har en 32 "platt skärm smart t. V. Hemmet har internet och Direct TV med sportpaketet.

Perfect spot

My niece got married at Peach Creek Ranch and this was a perfect location. The house is decorated adorable with spring and Easter decor - nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

Great Place

On a bird hunting trip to Walton Ranch which is nearby. Stayed at the farm house and had fresh eggs from the coop each morning. The place was clean, well stocked, peaceful and perfect for our trip.

Perfect farm house stay!

The farm house exceeded expectations. We were in town for a family wedding at a nearby venue, and the property provided the perfect, quiet respite from the hustle-bustle of large gatherings. Kitchen and bedrooms were well appointed, backyard fire pit was a sweet bonus!

Time Away

We got away for Memorial Day weekend and the house was lovely. Far enough away to make you feel like you’re in the country and yet close enough to town so that you can find or get anything you need.

Ring Day Party

We booked several nights to be there for our son’s Ring Day and have a family party a few days later. The house is lovely and the beautiful yard allowed us to have a corn hole competition! We will definitely be back!

Family girls trip

The farmhouse was perfect inside and out. The roses were blooming when we arrived. The front porch is welcoming, every room is clean, comfortable and sweetly decorated. The chickens are friendly and the fresh eggs were a real treat. We loved this little retreat and have already recommended it to friends and family. We will definitely choose it again when we visit College Station.

Cute cottage

Cute cottage in the country but not too far from College Station. We enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit and the chickens. The house was decorated with cute antiques and updated appliances.

Cute farmhouse!

This place was perfect for us! It was our first time visiting Texas during Roundtop and it felt like home away from home. Not too far from town but just enough where it isn’t crowded by neighbors. Also we were blessed with an egg by one of the hens during our stay! We will definitely be back and we will choose to stay here again

Beautiful farmhouse

My family rented this beautiful little farmhouse because we were evacuating from Hurricane Ida. Our home and community were direct hits. The renter allowed us to stay extra nights and was so amazing to us! We definitely plan on visiting again in the future! Our children and family absolutely loved it.

What the Family thought about the stay

The little ones loved gathering eggs. The family was satisfied with everything. I am sure this is the going rate for this Vrbo, but just wish it wasn’t so expensive. I think the cost per night should include everything, including taxes and hostess and cleaning fees. There is such a difference in the base cost per night and the final cost.

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I and our Great Dane. House was lovely and very quiet. He had a little bit of space to run around. Chickens were a cool addition. We would gladly come back if in the area again.

Perfect Stay!

This property was precious. It was secluded and spacious. Everything was modern but old school charm everywhere. The home had EVERYTHING you could think of including a personal fan, dog bowls and bug spray. We loved watching the chickens. It was exactly what we wanted!! I will definitely return for our next family gathering. Could not have been ANY better.

Super friendly owners

This house was tastefully remodeled recently and comfortable for our family of 5 and 2 dogs. The owners were super friendly and paid a lot of attention to detail, providing many generous/personal touches we don’t usually see for a weekend rental. We enjoyed the fire pit and large/open spaces around us, and the location was convenient to Aggie baseball, the George Bush Presidential Library/Museum, and many good/casual restaurants such as Koppe Bridge and Hullabaloo. We will rent here again when visiting College Station.

Great property

This property was great and the hosts were wonderful. Very easy to communicate with and very hospitable. We really appreciate them allowing us to bring our 2 dogs. We have often encountered difficulties finding a place that permits pets. The house was very clean and comfortable. Its an older home but has been renovated with all modern conveniences. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a great place that is quiet and peaceful. Wonderful place to relax. This was our 2nd visit and we plan to rent it again in the future.

My husband and I have loved raising our family in College Station. We have lived in town next to TAMU for 17 years and are building a house next door to the Farmhouse. We enjoy reconstructing properties. I usually draw up the plans and my husband does the work. I am a real estate broker in College Station who specializes in residential real estate sales, leasing, and property management. My husband raises cattle and works with me. We truly enjoy each other and our family!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We call this sweet property, "Big Oak Farmhouse." The property adjoins the land where we are building our forever home. There are big oak trees on the property, one of which is very old and big! For many years, we hung out at Big Oak, cleaning the land and working on the old structures. When this neighboring farmhouse came on the market for sale, we knew we wanted to make it a part of Big Oak. Neil and I completely gutted the home, taking it down to the solid wood walls. We have enjoyed every part of rebuilding this home and taking it back to a functioning farm house. When we bought the property it even came with chickens!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

It so happens that the Farmhouse "look" is in style at this time, but Neil and I have always had a nostalgic heart. We selected tin tiles for the ceiling in the kitchen. Neil took a few left over pieces to create a custom queen bed in the back bedroom. He also took reclaimed barn wood from his family farm outside of Cisco, TX to make the hand crafted bathroom cabinets and custom crafted XL twin beds with trundle. He adorned the walls with ship lap boards. We picked a cast iron sink for the kitchen. There are so many neat features to the home. We are still in the process of adding artwork and charm to the home, but everything that is done has been done with purpose. We think you'll love this home and your time here as much as we do.
