Great stay. Beautiful villa and property with stunning views. All needed amenities plus several extra conveniences from the large walk in closet to ample bathroom storage. Great communication from host including videos prior to check in for easy entry. The private beach access, sun decks and location away from resort and cruise crowds made this the perfect choice for us!

Rick was quick to respond with any questions and this place had the best location on Magen’s Bay! The little beach below and gorgeous views from our deck day and night! I would definitely come back here again!

We stayed in three places on the USVI over two weeks and this was our favorite. We saw turtles and stingrays from our vista on the deck, snorkeled among the turtles, and enjoyed long and lazy beach days from the pocket beach. We paddled over to Magens Beach which was usually crowded and just emphasized how fortunate we were to have our own private access to sand and water. Great host. Clean. If we return to the USVI we'll stay here again.

Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful! Loved the Villa Eau Claire, beautiful inside and the wooden ceiling throughout is gorgeous! The view from the Villa is stunning! Loved sleeping at night with the sound of the waves crashing on shore. Rick was a great host, very friendly and accessible. Will book again for next year.

This is an excellent vacation property, great location, great view and a warm inviting unit. The open floor plan gives you more than enough room relax and enjoy the leisure of a beech vacation. There is great access to a small beach and two good sized decks at the water’s edge. Magens bay is one of the largest bays on the island and a host to sea turtle, pelicans, sea gulls and other wildlife. We had a great time and Rick was an attentive, friendly and helpful host.

Just amazing!

This was our second time staying at Villa Eau Claire, and it exceeded our expectations again! We spent every day soaking up the sun in the beautiful Magen's Bay!! Rick is great and we plan to return every year!

The property is amazing. Great views. Location is exceptional. Snorkeling in Magans Bay was perfect! Location was quiet and away from tourists and noisy areas! We will be back!

60th birthday celebration trip

My husband and I loved staying at Villa Eau Claire. The villa is open and airy and the sound of the ocean is so peaceful. The private beach is a great place to swim and the entire property is gorgeous! Rick was very helpful and prompt with answers to our questions/requests. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, very relaxing

Great location. A short walk down the stairs to the ocean every morning for a swim. Easily access Megans beach and all of its amenities. Beautiful views from the deck.

Perfect getaway!

The house is exactly as listed. The owner was very helpful with anything we needed. We saw more wildlife snorkeling right here than we did when we paid to go out on a chartered snorkeling trip. The house had several extra things that we didn't even know we needed until we go there (snorkeling gear, dry bag, beach chairs, and more) We would absolutely stay here again.

Slice of paradise

We loved staying at Villa Eu Claire on Magens bay! The pocket beach was great to access the water and we were most surprised to watch the pelicans, turtles and tarpon from the balcony every morning and throughout the day. The villa had everything we needed for our stay and even had a few beach towels and snorkels for us to use. It really was an idyllic spot to stay!

Perfect Location and Amazing Host

This was our first time in the US Virgin Islands, and it won’t be our last! Our son was getting married at a nearby venue, and we wanted to be close by (but not too close). The views and breezes off the large porch were a highlight, and it was easy to swim or snorkel to Magens Bay Beach. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do on St. Thomas, the unit was exactly as pictured, and the host was responsive and very easy to communicate with. All of our expectations were met or exceeded!Wish we had been able to stay a few more days….

Anniversary Trip

We've stayed in St. Thomas three different times, this was by far our best stay. Probably one of the best views on the island as well as a private beach which is unheard of in St. Thomas. The owner was very hospitable and even gave my wife a paddle board lesson. We watched turtles from the balcony each night and the property was very spacious for a one bedroom. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location, cozy lodging

We really enjoyed this place! Great views of Magen’s Bay and marine life along with a fantastic beach that had some of our favorite snorkeling - right there! I would recommend bringing eye covers because there are not blackout drapes, so your days start really early. Outside of that it was fantastic!
