Villa Farmhouse är ett komplex av 350 kvadratmeter som byggs i 18th century med utsikt över kullarna i Toscana, som erbjuder en fantastisk utsikt kan avnjutas från vardera sidan av villan, gratis fyra sidor. Gården, renoverades i januari 2014 (toskansk stil), kombinerar en kärlek till gamla smak av toskanska inredning med de mest moderna komfort: varje detalj är utformad för välbefinnande och avkoppling för kunden.

Very good stay close to Certaldo

Great villa with 5 large rooms, each with its own full bathroom. Large common room and kitchen - great for getting all guests together. Place it 10 min by car from downtown Certaldo, and great for a base for exploring Toscana (we did Florence, Siena, Val d'Orcia, San Gimignano, Volterra) on day trips.

Wonderful villa in Tuscany

Our group of six enjoyed a week long stay in this villa and it was wonderful. The villa is stunning as are the grounds and surrounding countryside. We were able to easily take day trips to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, and the Chiantigiana road from this location. Our host Eleonora was exceptional. She was more than accommodating, had great suggestions on activities for our group, and helped us extensively during our stay. Eleonora and her mother also prepared two evening meals for our group that were just outstanding. A real welcome to Tuscany. We strongly recommend this property.

Great stay in Chianti

Our multigenerational family had a wonderful stay. Elenora and her mother made us a delicious dinner upon our arrival (I would highly recommend taking her up on this offer). The house was comfortable and well equipped. It was well located to explore so much of what Tuscany has to offer including an easy ride to Firenze.

Amazing time in Tuscany

A group of college friends and spouses spent two weeks in this amazing villa. It was fantastic! The Villa is beautiful, well equipped, and able to fit a large group easily. We enjoyed the pool every day. Eleanora was wonderful to communicate with. Definitely worth a stay. And the location is fantastic for day trips.

True Tuscan Experience

Staying in this listing with my family was an absolute delight. The Villa is massive, super well equipped (each bedroom has its own bathroom & shower!!), and keeps its cool indoors on hot summer days. The views of tuscan hills during breakfast or during sunset are postcard perfect. We were not missing anything and wished we could stay longer! Eleonora was a wonderful host, super communicative and always ready to help. It's the perfect spot for a vacation to disconnect from busy city life. Can only recommend.

Intergenerational Vacation

Our three generation family had a lovely one week stay at Villa Il Casolare. There was something for everyone - wonderful clean and safe pool for the children, shade patios for grandma and a very workable kitchen for our volunteer chef. Our hosts went out of their way to be accommodating and helpful. We would highly recommend this villa for others doing a family gathering.

Beautiful Villa in the Hills near Certaldo

The villa is beautiful. Exactly as one would envision on the perfect trip to Tuscany. It is fully restored and new. A comfortable home for the week in the hills near Certaldo. Eleonora was great and very helpful with information about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed. One caution for future guests is that we were charged for diesel for hot water. A minor complaint but should be included in the rental price.

Outstanding stay!!!

We were a group of 8 from Canada and had a fantastic stay !! The villa was gorgeous! We were so lucky to be able to watch the process of picking and processing the olive oil!! Eleanora and her father were so hospitable and helpful with all of our questions! We also had a dinner made for us one evening and highly recommend that also!! Three-generation get-together in Tuscany

We had a wonderful week in the house. We all appreciated the spacious areas, the kitchen and the pool, perfect for relaxing and family dinners in the patio. We were 8 adults and 2 children, and all bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. Eleonora was very helpful with everything we needed help with and also arranged a very nice dinner for us in the house.

Staying at this beautiful house in Tuscany was beautiful. From the stunning views of the rolling hills to the charming rustic interiors, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. Totally stunning!

Many thanks Eleonora and Andrea for making it possible for us to stay and enjoy your beautiful Villa il Casolare! It was a magical experience for 7 Australians who fell in love with the Villa, it’s location, Old Town Certaldo and all the amazing Medieval towns and cities we explored. The Villa was so comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed and the pool was a huge plus. We had so much fun and look forward to returning in the future. Better place to stay then what the photos show

Owners were easy to deal with very accommodating! Villa was spacious each room had its own bathrooms, the grounds & views from the villa were amazing. Unfortunately we had mostly rain but there were many places to sit outside & to enjoy the views. The pool was nice but did not use it. They take recycling serious which we liked. Long flight of stairs up to the bedrooms a bit hard to bring up heavy luggage. Would definitely rent it again!!

We had 4 couples 55-64 age, and family that stayed a week. Eleonora a was a fabulous post. Communication throughout the process was great. The night we arrived, we had Eleonora make a meal for us for my wife’s 60 b-day. It was a feast and wonderful. Everything at the villa surpassed our expectations. The views from the back patio of the Elsa valley and San Gimignano were like a post card. Can’t say enough great things about this place. We certainly hope to cone back

FANTASTIC. If you find it, book it!!

Simply amazing. Everything about this experience surpassed our expectations. First, the property itself is stunning. Pictures hardly do justice. The home is also extremely comfortable and came fully equipped with everything we needed for a fun and relaxed stay. Second, the town of Certaldo - 10 min drive away- is fantastic! It has excellent restaurants, an old medieval area and is far less crowded compared to neighbouring towns like Sienna. Last but not least, Eleonora is simply wonderful. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

Amazing stay in picturesque Tuscan countryside.

This was our first family trip to Italy and the villa made it special. This property is huge and views even better than in the pictures. It could easily accommodate two families. The pool is very clean and a huge added bonus for days you want to stay at the villa. Kitchen is functional and well suited for large meals. There’s a small town about 15 minutes drives away with a pizzeria and two excellent restaurants. You can also travel to Certaldo where’s there’s a grocery store and a lot of restaurants in the old town. Overall, it is very well located if you want to travel the Chianti region. The only thing I would caution is the mosquitos if you’re not from a tropical area. They are everywhere in the area and I’d highly recommend getting bug spray.

Better than advertised

From check in to check out, the entire stay at Villa Il Casolare was beyond what we expected. We chose this villa because of location and the high rating it received. It was super clean and the location was perfect for our day trips. We did day trips to Florence, Siena, Rosignano and San Gimignano and all were within and hour drive except Rosignano(90 minutes). The villa was far more beautiful in person than the pictures described. The views and setting were spectacular. So many scenic drives leaving the villa. When you leave the driveway, make a right to wherever you're going, simply beautiful views. Eleanora could not have been more hospitable. She was very responsive before checking in and was always available for questions during our visit. Eleanora and her mother made our group of 8 the most delicious dinner our last night there. We ate outside and enjoyed the beautiful dinner with a beautiful sunset. Perfecto!! I would 100% recommend this property. The entire experience was first class from start to finish. Bravo Eleanora(and Mom) and Villa Il Casolare. We will be back!!

More than advertised....peaceful...well appointed...great for family & friends

We rented this Villa and it was all we expected and more. We wanted a trip with family and friends and there was more than enough room in the house for 8 aldults. The kitchen was well appointed with all we needed. The owners stocked the kitchen ahead of us arriving based on our shopping list. They were more than accommodating and easily accessible which is important when traveling in a different country. We planned this trip from NJ and had friends from PA, KS and MD join us in Certaldo. We hired the chef which was a great dinner outside and exceeded our expectation and honestly the best tiramisu I have ever had. The owners organizaed dinner locally and we felt like we were truly emmersed into the Italian culture. We also had them coordinate car service from Florence and rented a car for our time there. I only have GREAT things to share about our time in this ole Villa. It was nicely updated and well appointed. Strongly recommend this to friends and we will return.

A Dream come true in the Tuscan Hillside

We were 8 women on an adventure in Italy and this villa could not have been more perfect!! Our host Eleonora met us in Certaldo at the train station and guided us up the hillside to the Villa. The villa is spectacular. Beautifully decorated. The photos do not do this place justice. There was plenty of space for the 8 of us to enjoy time together and also to find a quiet space to be alone and read a book. We were there in mid Sep and the weather was so hot we made good use of the beautiful pool and pool area. The views from the villa were amazing. The property is full of fruit trees and very well maintained. Eleonora is extremely friendly and welcoming and truly is available for your every request. We had her and her mother and aunt come to make us a pizza dinner one night. Again, spectacular. The food was SO good and SO fresh. I would have liked to taken them home to be my private cooks! :) One evening we wanted to go out for a special dinner and not have to worry about driving and Eleonora and her boyfriend (soon to be husband) drove us and picked us up in their vehicles. I would recommend this place very highly and would love to return one day. I honestly cannot say enough wonder things about the villa and the host. Alice

The perfect match

My wife and I have used VRBO to rent Several homes in Italy during the past several years. On this occasion we were looking for a large home 5 bedrooms with 5 en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. The property had been refurbished from its original footprint and remodeled to the most current both rooms and upgraded kitchen. All of the windows are screened and even on the hottest days the interior was cool due to the thick rock walls we were 7 people and never felt cramped. Tons of room to find your own space It is centrally located in Chianti region for day trips to Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Volterra, San Gimignano. The train station in Certaldo is easy to use for Siena, Pisa and Florence. The kitchen is large and had a US sized refrigerator with ice maker!!!! We asked Eleonora and her mother Lydia to cater a dinner each week and we enjoyed it in the outside covered patio and enjoyed watching the geckos munching on the moths attracted by the lights!!! The swimming pool was immaculate and kept extremely clean. A fig tree on the property kept us supplied with beautiful fruit and the quiet countryside gave us the peace we desired. There were a few issues like light bulbs in the kitchen that kitchen that required replacement and a small bedroom bathroom sink leak that were fixed immediately upon notice. We would readily recommend and return to this property.
