Välkommen till Water's Edge! Denna magiska plats är en portal till en lugn och avkopplande semester. Oavsett om du tar med hela familjen eller vill ha en romantisk get-away .... eller .... för "just me" tid kommer denna "Paradise of Paradise" att varva ner dig, uppdatera dig och föryngra dig så att du lämnar känslan redo att gå tillbaka till ditt galna snabba liv i "Real World"! Water's Edge ligger på Holmes Harbor på Whidbey Island. Vattnet kommer att hälla genom varje östligt vänd fönster eftersom det är bokstavligen 30 'från "Water's Edge".

Du kan känna det, även när du är inne ...... Du kan smaka på det, luktar och absolut njuta av det!

De flesta båtar startar i denna hamn under crabbing säsongen. Det finns 2 kajaker och 1 paddla båt för din användning här på fastigheten (ansvarsfrihet att bli undertecknad).

Huset är fullt av alla bekvämligheter. Det ett sovrummet har en helt ny queen size justerbar säng tillsammans med den otroliga utsikten. Vardagsrummet har 2 helt nya queen size hide-a-sängar som också erbjuder fantastisk utsikt från sängen. Det finns Xfinity med många kabelkanaler och wifi.

Whidbey Island har alla slags festivaler, sommar till vinter. Freelands fyrverkerier tänds strax framför huset den 3 juli varje år och nyårsafton. Vilken spektakulär show! Nichols Brother lanserar sina båtar precis framför huset varje gång de har genomfört en, kanske kommer du att få se en av dem lanserade under din vistelse?

Stor gård för mycket privatliv. Kom till vingårdarna och de pittoreska butikerna, stanna för romantiken, solen och vinden. Sitta runt eldstaden och njut av det vin du bara hämtade på en lokal vingård och lyssna som fåglarna och vågorna lutar dig i en fridfull trance avkopplande din trötta själ.

Bilderna på Water's Edge kan förvirra dig lite eftersom det visar 2 nivåer men övervåningen är inte användbar. Området för åtkomst är hela bottenvåningen, första nivån. Alla bilder av interiörbilder visar bara 1: a våningen.

Beautiful, but couldn't find the TP!

I sent my father and his partner to stay for a couple of days. Lori was friendly, and still cleaning when they arrived. The place was lovely, relaxing--I guess they just couldn't find the extra TP! But, you know: stores. ( : I recommend for a relaxing stay by the water!

Very nice and relaxing weekend

We had a very nice stay this weekend. The house has everything you need, and the fireplace does a good job of keeping the place cozy. The soaking tub was a nice touch, although the hot water wasn't enough to fill the tub. We had to wait a bit after filling it, then top it off with more hot water. It was very nice then. The location is good too, plenty of places to eat and drink nearby!

Stayed at Floating on Water in Freeland WA

The home named Floating on Water is great for two guests. The oceanview from the master bedroom is awesome. And makes this home very unique. The living area is not only very nice but special as well. The kitchen is fully equipped and is very large. The house is located on a very quiet lot with the best view of the harbor/ocean area. It is close by and almost within walking distance of the Freeland downtown area. It is also very close to a large park on the ocean. That is great for walking a dog.

Beautiful & relaxing

Wonderful views of the water. We loved watching the seals and sitting in the garden. Picked some apples and wild blackberries. Great long weekend. Would stay again.

Good Location

I loved the location. The house was very well stocked with anything you might need. The house is dated but was clean & it was nice to have a garage to put my car in. Very private. I would have liked access to the beach from the property but that is available a short distance away.

Beautiful and peaceful waterside

I really enjoyed the view and the quiet location. I forgot that there wasn’t beach access from the property but that worked out ok since the water was so close to the house, Like mentioned in reviews I read, the house is dated. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was easy to use. All in all it was a good stay.

Peaceful and endless views

We came for a peaceful stay away from town. The views from the yard and house were amazing - especially the sunrises over the water. We left the screens opens d fell asleep tk the sounds of waves and owls. A family of seals would stay on a floating deck nearby and were great to watch. Easy stay for a peaceful time.

We had a fabulous time, it's right on the water

We enjoyed leaving the sliding glass doors open (with screens) and being awakened by seals grunting in the morning. The place is super cute; perfect for a couple get away for the weekend. Beach access is down the road 6-7 houses, but honestly we just enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the waves while drinking our morning coffee.... or evening cocktails.

Wonderful experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The very comfortable, well appointed house is so close to the waters edge on Honeymoon Bay that we could hear even the smallest waves…together with the sea air and cool breeze, it was so incredibly relaxing both day and night. The outdoor space is beautiful and spacious. We look forward to staying at this property again!

Water's Edge - Spectacular

The location, the view, and the 1200 sq ft of well-designed ground-level space made this stay superb. Plus, we had use of the garage. Communication with the owner was excellent. The detailed check-in/check-out information was very helpful in enjoying our stay, both while at the property and for our excursions. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Nice view

Rented this property for my husband’s birthday. Unfortunately there was a large storm that weekend and we lost heat, electricity and internet at 8pm. It was super cold, drafty and dark during the storm. Kids were scared and we were up all night. Ended up leaving first thing when there was daylight. Overall we ended up paying for the entire weekend stay, a birthday bummer and loss of money. The host offered us an “off season” time within the year to come back but the 2 weekdays we wanted she thought were to hard to give up. Things to mention that I find helpful: No check-out instruction booklet in the house, It’s a bit out of date, cabin like, if you are a family of 4, there is a pull out sofa bed (uncomfortable). The queen bed is an orthopedic bed that has a remote control that lowers and raises, this was a first for us to sleep in, very weird. No access to beach from the house. (Didn’t matter because the tide was so high that there really isn’t a beach). Kids wanted to use the bathtub with jacuzzi jets, but their wasn’t enough warm water to even fill to the bottom of the jet. A very shallow warm bath, better off taking a shower. Best part was the view.

Ever since the family vacations in Birch Bay growing up, I have been drawn to the water. The call of the bird, the honk of the seals, the majestic flight of the Eagles’s… there’s always plenty of activity.

So when I found this place, when I found Waters Edge, it called out loud to me.

And I get to share it with you.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Waters Edge is so close to town and yet so very private. We are 30 feet from the Waters Edge so the neighbors on each side are further back. It’s a long deep lot with 101 lineal feet of waterfront. Private and yet convenient.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Before living at Waters Edge I used to think when the water was in was the best part of the day.

Now I know it’s when the water is out that there’s all the activity of nature. It’s just so wonderful to see.
